I've recently bought a Galaxy Nexus for me after years of N1, now I'm wanting to lend my N1 to my girflfriend to introduce her into the Android World. I've already tried many ROMS, from JB/ICS/GB, i'm wanting to let her try a good and stable GB ROM.
Which one do you advise?
(Sorry for bad english)

hi
i saw some devices that running Vanilla android roms (some chine's phones)
why there is no way to install the stock vanilla Gingerbread like in
the Nexus phones?
because there untill now there was no source code. though the componants are the same as the nexus s there are diffences that make it very difficult to port. the effort for an aosp rom has been mostly focused on cyanogen mod 7. it may be posible to get a stock nexus rom to install over a kernel cyanogen mod.
if you want sonething similar to stock nexus 2.3.3 the best route is to install cyanogenmod 7 and the stock gingerbread launcher. then you have everything the nexus has plus some enhancments and all open source
U can also try continuum v5 rc3.

continuum is nothing like the nexus s. it is a touchwiz ROM. if you want the stock android gingerbread feel, cyanogenmod 7 is the closest you'll get right now.
Hey guys,
Whats the fastest rom out there without MIUI and CM? I really like MIUI but some things for me are missing.
My sister has a new SGS (bought in july 2011) and I got a SGS from 10/10. She is on stock, I'm on darkys and everything is faster on hers.
So I need the fastest rom out there without MIUI and CM.
Thanks in advance!

Tornado ROM for me. the best there is
If you want to stay stock, JVR put up some pretty good quadrant scores without any other tweaks when I was running it...

I always come back to cm. Currently on n253, gonna try 7.2 the moment i got some time. I'm waiting with ics for my next device (not counting my prime )
Personally, though, I find MIUI to be the best Gingerbread ROM. I hate the iOS-styled launcher, though, so I changed it for Launcher 7.

+1
of all the gb roms i used, i find QND MIUI best as of now (though all the other roms were equally good and had no trouble). i find it to be more appealing. and those cool themes make the phone look different each time

My friend is on stock GB from 3 years (I9000). Now, he asked my help to install a new rom. I have an Xperia, so i don't know I9000 roms, but i can manage to install one.
The problem is that he doesn't want to experiment, he wants a fully stable rom which will use for ever.
Is Jelly Bean still not totally stable?
Can you guys advice me a rom?
Thanks
Here u go my bro using this Rom it was awesome http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1925195

Wow, in these days i read some threads and this rom was the one that convinced me more
I read that v7 was even better than v9. Did you try both them?

C-Rom Mix
I was about to recommend the same rom. I was on ics and looking to check out JB and tried several different roms, each with its own issues, all but C-Rom Mix V9. I can't speak for V7 but V9 has truly been stable and lag free with great battery life. I'm pretty fussy when looking for a daily driver for my phone if that means anything.

which is the Fastest & Smoothest ROM for Nexus 4?
God, not another one of these threads...
At least add an option for stock / rooted stock. Not everyone likes to install bug ridden copy+paste ROMs.
Stock is butter I love it

Try them out for yourself rather than trying to get others to tell you what's "best".

Paranoid for me! Its awesome and great battery life.
Closed. No such thing as best as everyone's opinion is different. Try them yourself and then decide, that's why we're all here after all.
