Prime HD by HAKA..

(4 days on battery) it is pretty much good, but what about your daily usage. it seems that you use the phone slightly.

GingerSnap has an amazing baterry life.
Sent from my E15i using Tapatalk 2
If the rom has no batery drain problem, yout phone should work at last 40-48 hours with normal use. (a little radio, gamming, surfing the web ...)
Using low light on the screen and turn on the wifi, bluetooth and gps only when needed will greatly increase battery life.
With this battery http://viewitem.eim.ebay.pt/GOLD-2430MAH-EP500-BATTERY-FOR-SONY-ERICSSON-XPERIA-X8/350645302092/item and using the conditions previously spoken, i have batery lyfe of +75 h

Peter Alfonso manufactures ROMs and Kernels for the Droid. That's why you've never heard of him It doesn't do anything for us Milestone users as our bootloaders are locked up tight.

Cronos Ginger ver.1.4 - Overnight Battery Drain Test
Cronos Ginger ver.1.4 - Overnight Battery Drain Test
I always perform the same benchmark test with any new ROM that I flash to gauge for myself how much battery it drains on idle/standby.
Condition:
Data Connection: 2G only
Google Contacts Sync: On
Google Calendar Sync: On
Gmail Sync: On
Talk: On
Result:
I have also tweaked it with Autokiller Memory Optimizer with the following settings:
Hidden app: 24
Content provider: 28
Empty app: 30
Watch how snappy it is:

So would you say the battery drain is fixed compared to Cronos 1.3.0?
Sent from my Milestone using XDA Premium App
Hmm. That's quite interesting because I tried cronos before but the battery drain was disgusting-100% drained down to 20% overnight.
But personally telus lite 5.2 gives the BeSt better life. And its tooooo fast.
If only there was the market fix to show protected apps. But I'm working on that
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
I guess the battery drain issue has been fixed in Cronos Ginger ver.1.4
I also installed Plants vs Zombies on my Milestone.
No problems on my Milestone running Cronos Ginger ver.1.4 (with my Autokiller Memory settings).
See this video below:

You could also check out Prime's kernels. You can find them in droidforums.net He has good battery life vs performance.
Damn. If only the milestone can use them

Anyone know whats the best rom to use for battery life for the W8? Im using Gingerdx and it goes from 100% to 29% in just 8hrs. Anyone fairing better?
*Usage mainly as a music player*
GingerDX v013 is very drain ur battery... i know it.. but now... GingerDX v014 very best for your battery life... im using it, only 1 charge you can use until 2-4days

GingerDX v014 without Maps, Calendar Service and DSP. Also disable position from google. For me it takes 3-4 days with normal use, 3-4 hours wi-fi, telephone sms.
Gingerxperia is very battery friendly,,, and also Gingerfroyo has awesome bettery life
I would say Floyo (anyone) would have the best battery life! But most of the developers are going for features more then battery usage.
Try this rom:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1237930. This rom is really fast and battery life is good

...as long as you didn't miss to also calibrate your battery upon flashing. The ROM may also contain the "undervolt' feature in the advanced settings section. Add a battery-saving app, and you have increased battery time already.

I used to get 8 hours on normal usage that time.
I currently get 20+ hours on my current config.
Not really. I lost 60% during the night just after using SEUS.

my battery lasted me very little eclair (2.1), now with a rom takes me over 12 hours, and the gaming performance is better.
How about your battery duration? The mine is 2 hours in continuing use in navigation with 3g,cm7 and p990h model. The phone overheats in camera zone and the undervolt dont fix nothing.

this is my experience too. I´m loading everyday at work, so i have enough battery for the rest of the day
quite good
always on 3g ,1.5 h music ,40 sms ,some surf over 3g and wifi ( during lunchtime )
if i make a light usage ,i can manage to last 2 days , i'm quite satisfied
i last 3 days if i dont use wifi /3G and with second core disabled (i make it during trip)
i'm on CM7 Hybrid revolution by stefan.
I think your phone have a REAL problem, even if i try i just cant empty my batt in 2 hours (even with OC ,screen backlite maximus ,and playing riptide online.......i lasted 3 h)

i think it would make more sense to rate your battery life by stating how long the screen was on and on what conditions (wifi on/off/ 3g/ 2g/ brightness lv/ have you been watching video or playing games/ just typing sms or what ever)
my record was about 6h screen on time at 25% brigtness, 2g, gaming about half of that time. but i suspect the battery is getting old now, since i struggle to reach 3.5 h screen on time with the same conditions and much less gaming.

Hello.
I'm looking for really good kernel for my phone. I've 2.6.39.4 kowalski-exp and battery life was horrible. I used my phone for 4h and now it's on 19%. Can someone tell me some really good kernel that supports Jelly bean and good battery life? Please help
Can you post your battery usage screen shot or if you have BBS installed please screenshot of BBS? That 4 hours phone usage that you are mentioning, is that 4 hours of voice call or 4 hours browsing? or what? If it is 4 hours with screen on with WIFI or 3G on all the time I think that is reasonable. I am using kowalski kernel and I have reasonable battery life.

if you play games 2h that is not horrible battery life...i recommend you latest tonyp build cm11 from 20. 01.2014 and latest penguss77 alpha 31...for me that is best combination ever...no such cm10.2, simply the best, forget about ICS and JB, kitkat is miles away better than them,in almost every segment, it has very low memory usage and good optimization...thats my opinion.bye
