Is it possible to use another messaging app from like Motorola on the Vivid? I want to have group texting and the Motorola messaging g app has group texting.

Most if not all will require some dependencies from their original manufacturer is overlay...so it would require some work to get it to work...

Depends I don't think Motorola's will work. But I've used a touch wiz and galaxy nexus messaging app on my phone and it worked

I don't think there is, you can always trying grabbing a copy and push it with adb, just because the market won't display some apps doesn't mean you can't install them

Is there any good messaging apps for out phone? I want one like the cm sms app that you can reply and call back from the notification pull down. I have sliding messaging but I think it had issues

Ok I have a question does any one use gosms pro and are you able to set individual ringtones to contacts. I'm asking cuz I use it and I have a droid DNA that's running a port of this Rom 4.2.2 sense 5 viperDNA and I can't set individual ringtones but I could on 4.1.1 sense 4+ and I'm sure it's the room port our it's a 4.2.2 sense 5 thing thanks for any info
