[GUIDE] How to make Instagram desktop

Some of people ask me how i made my Instagram Desktop. So I decided to make tutorial how to do that.

UCCW for count and clock widget
ExtDateWidgetXL for calendar

1. Firs you will need to made wallpaper i will post my psd for wallpaper

Take screenshot of your instagram profile place picture in that PSD and use Eraser Tool, for delete all stuff except your picture and name
2. I'm using apex launcher with this setup:
Homescreen 9 rows and 5 Columns
3 Screens
Horizontal and Vertical margin NONE
Wallpaper mode Multiple screen (scrolling)
Hide Dock
Hide notification bar
3. Set wallpaper using MultiPicture Live Wallpaper from market
FIRST SCREEN
You have Apex page jumps for second, and third page, use transparent icon to hide them
For Count widget (SMS, Calls, E-Mail) i using UCCW 4X1, for that skin is here http://www.mediafire.com/?7v01i37i427snyv
Use desktop visualizer for placing icons on your desktop, you can use any icon pack that you like
For desktop icons on dock use Desktop visualizer with transparent png icon (dock apps are: Appdrawer, Browser, Instagram, Go SMS, Contacts)
SECOND SCREEN
You have Apex page jumps for second, and third page, use transparent icon to hide them
For Count widget (SMS, Calls, E-Mail) i using UCCW 4X1, for that skin is here http://www.mediafire.com/?7v01i37i427snyv
Place widget for clock, date, music, etc on this page
For desktop icons on dock use Desktop visualizer with transparent png icon (dock apps are: Appdrawer, Browser, Instagram, Go SMS, Contacts)
THIRD SCREEN
You have Apex page jumps for second, and first page, use transparent icon to hide them
For Count widget (SMS, Calls, E-Mail) i using UCCW 4X1, for that skin is here http://www.mediafire.com/?7v01i37i427snyv
For weather widget you can use any weather widget that you like
For desktop icons on dock use Desktop visualize with transparent png icon (dock apps are: Appdrawer, Browser, Instagram, Go SMS, Contacts)
Now you can make your own Instagram desktop.

Hold your finger on screen, then select Apex actions and you will find page jumps screen 1, screen 2, screen 3

i keep getting a "skin deleted" ribbon whenever i try to add the uzip.... was your uzip exported with an older version of UCCW ? also, where can i find the Mint button icons at?

I using latest version of UCCW, try to unzip skin and copy filed on ultimatecustomclockwidget folder

any possible way you could re-export the uzip? cuz i've tried importing the uzip, and just moving the uccw manually, and i keep getting "Skin deleted".... or if not that, give me the font that you used?

Font is default UCCW font.

Same problem here "skin deleted", even after downloading it again, export and extract on the right folder, checking the UCCW version (from october 21)...

I tested skin on my Acer Iconia A100 tablet and same is on tab, i think this is problem with UCCW and galaxy s3.

Custom GenieWidget - Transparent background, blue headlines, Roboto Light Font

Hi all, I searched high and low for a good GenieWidget replacement and I couldn't find one that fit the bill after a couple weeks of searching. I loved the look of the Deer Reader 4x1 widget, but it had serious problems with updating, plus I am not a huge fan of the interface, so I decided to customize GenieWidget to my liking.
What we have here is GenieWidget with the following changes:
- Transparent background
- ICS Blue headlines on widget
- Widget headline font switched to Roboto Light, 18pt size
- Widget publisher color switched to white instead of grey
- Removed images from widget since they were always low res and looked like crap anyway

The dark background is actually done via UCCW, as is the blue > symbol on the right. The rest is just my custom GenieWidget laid on top of that UCCW widget.
So far I have only made the font changes to the portrait orientation for the News Widget since thats all I use. If there is interest then I can customize the other layouts as well.

Hey, I thought your mod was cool, so I installed in on my p500 CM9 ICS 9.2.1: unfortunately there's no way to see the background and the blue > symbol on the right.. do I have to install UCCW too?

Yes, that is all done via UCCW. You would have to install UCCW and then make whatever background you want and lay that under my custom genie widget. You also have to use a launcher that supports widget overlap/resizing. Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher are the big ones.

The SailFish OS is soon to be released by Jolla. This theme has been made simply by looking at the images released by Jolla. All the icons and the skin has been made based on these images.
This theme includes both icons and skin to change the overall look of your phone.
I cannot guarantee this to be a exact replica of the OS but I will make the necessary changes as soon as it is released in the market.
All icons are of 120x120 px. On LDPI devices, the app drawer may be out of place, so I have included another resized drawer icon. If you see 2 drawer icons, that is because I included it. IT IS NOT A BUG.
This is guaranteed to work on Nova, Apex and ADW Launcher. Other launchers may support it too. But I will not support those launchers for now.
NOTE:
1. In ADW and Apex, the tabs in the app drawer will not appear. They are present there, but you will not be able to see it as I have made it transparent.
2. In Nova, it will appear as it does not support theming the tabs.
3. Also, disable wallpaper scrolling as the provided wallpaper has been designed for a single screen. Wallpaper may look odd if made to support multiple screens.
4. All icons may not change by themselves. To change them, long press the icon and the new icon from the provided icon pack.
5. App Drawer icon will not change by itself on Nova and ADW Launcher. You have to change them manually.
SCREENIES:

Manual Settings
Please follow these steps to get the most out of this theme.
NOVA LAUNCHER:
1. Open Nova Settings.
2. Go to Look and Feel and select the Jolla Theme.
3. Go to Drawer and make the Transparency level to about 25%.
4. Go to Dock and uncheck the Show Divider option.
5. Go to Folder and make the Transparency to about 50% - 60%.
6. Disable Wallpaper scrolling.
APEX LAUNCHER:
1. Open Apex Settings.
2. Go to Theme Settings and choose the Jolla Theme.
3. Go to Drawer Settings and change the Transparency Level to about 25%.
4. Go to Home Screen Setting and navigate to Wallpaper Mode and select Single Screen (Non Scrolling).
ADW LAUNCHER:
1. Open ADW Settings.
2. Go to Themes and select the Jolla Theme.
3. Disable Wallpaper Scrolling.
**OPTIONAL STEP**
4. If your App Drawer are messed up or you do not want the extra space on top, then go to App Drawer Settings and uncheck the Tabs option.

I like things minimalistic. I am running the stock ROM with Google Now launcher. ASUS weather app disabled to clear the lock screen, and Google clock widget added by Lock Screen Widgets xposed module. For my home screen and app drawer I am using xgels to downsize icons and customise my dock (6 icons and no app drawer button because app drawer is opened by swiping up gesture). I enabled the nav bar with gravitybox and themed nav bar buttons and status bar icons to Lollipop style with xstana.

Now it's looking like pure Android lollipop

I am using the stock red background to match my red phone.
Launcher: Nova Launcher Prime
Theme: Default, with desktop grid set for 5 x 5
