[Q] wifi troubles

On ultimate rom. Also happened in cog rom. Sometimes wifi doesnt want to turn on, ill have to turn it on 3 times before it goes on sometime, in the options it will say error. I never ever have problems when i am connected,and it works very whenn when its connected, but i have had to restart phone to get it to connect before. Whats the reason for this? Bug?

i had the same issue before, do not know the exact reason, you just have to try different rom ...

What roms had it and what didnt?

found out that clearning wifi data using root explorer helps for about 10 connects or so. then it happens after again....

[Q] Bluetooth thether for stock ddkq8 rom?

Bluetooth tether (PAN) works on CM7 ..
Anyway to get a patch for it for stock roms...

Can you tell me how to use that on cm7?? Btw try an app called "wireless tether". It has bluetooth tether option but i never tried that.

'Wireless tether' wont work with stock kernel..

In cm7 rom:
Turn on bluetooth in phone and pc/laptop..
Pair them..
Connect through PAN (personal area network) via pc/laptop..
In my pc i use bluesoleil to connect thru pan..

Phone turns itself off when plugged into pv

My phone resets every time I plug it into the PC and tether USB lasts bout 20 minutes then either resets or turns off

Please provide more information, for example ROM that you are using. As now we can't help.

My rom is stocklitev8 but it happens with most roms I use even different software's like easy thether pro but doesn't happen when I use thr stock wifi tether

Try tethering on the stock ddkq8. If the problem recurrs, the issue might be something else.

Question about built in tethering.

Has anybody cracked it yet? Inbuilt.tethering on sense doesn't work for me, just kinda freezes up till I kill it.

WiFi Tether also works for me on Rooted Stock just had to mess with the settings a bit to get it to work

Wifi is not working...it connects and disconnects continuously.....and gets stuck while authenticating.........any kind of help will be appreciated....

What's the router wifi network on? Change it to b/g and test again.

try a different software.. I have used Virtual Router from N7000 and it worked fine.

Do you use same network as when you installed your system.
I met this issue when I switched to a new router. Nothing I did would resolve it so I installed the system all over again while on the new router and voila..
