I guess almost nobody from this forum is using stock ROM. I just stick around with my XXKPK baseband.

i tried this rom today, everything's like previous gb firmware.
i tried to root using upd_1.zip, it gave status 7 error. : /
so i restore cm10.1 backup.

Haven't tried this yet..

because this firmware uses different signing keys
You may be able to use universal gb root

There's not really a difference, is it?

There is a new version of the XWKTZ stock rom

Italy (H3G)

2.3.6 PDA S5570XWKTZ; CSC S5570HUIKT7...but i don't think that there are any changes at least visually

none of it works( even february firmware ), recovery said "enjoy bla bla bla" but i couldnt find superuser app in drawer.

Will do that too i will restore my cwm back-up of latest stable nightly

try method rooting via modded mobile odin v3.5.7 by Ahmad Safar from your cm10.1, and then check option rooting when done flashing your latest firmware :good: hope it works

Can anybody tell how to root it. I tried update.zip it is installed and superuser app also appears but still apps doesnt recognise it

In XWKTZ_HUIKT7_NEKT1 I did root using universal_gb_root.zip, this firmware has some differences compared to my old (VJKPB / Brazil).

Prueba a modificar el build.prop con los valores de Vodafone ES. Yo lo he hecho y estoy descargandola!
Try to modify the build.prop with the Vodafone ES numbers. It has worked for me

I dont know, its downloading atm. But normally hi doesn't add anything to the firmware, that's why i like hi so much.

Tested it out with Fibs. As of right now I think the only thing you can do is push sounds to it. However, I have been able to remove stuff.

What all can be debloated? Not sure of the names

I don't think there is a debloat list yet. In theory you could remove everything but the watch is pretty much debloated as it comes.
I know devs biggest concern now is the camera record limit on the Gear 2.

I tried updating through firmware finder and it downloaded a 609mb update. after rebooting it says Your device has failed verification and may not work properly and then restarts. Any idea why?

whats the difference b/w both 2 version.??
odin is round 3.6 GB
7zip is around 2GB.
did odin one included BL,CPand CSC while 7zip only AP?
