Hi
I am wondering if it is possible to get Haptic Feedback (vibration) when the softkeys are pressed.
I think it was possible when I had the CM7 rom installed, but I am not sure.
I am now on the SG SII JB ROM, and there is no option for Haptic Feedback activation.
Thanks

anyone know how to set the keyboard haptic feedback on and off?
i was searching for it too. do you want to turn it on or off? on my hd7 it is off.
mine is off as well...i dont see any setting for turning on or off
htc technical support said they don't have this function on hd7
WP7 doesn't support haptic feedback yet. I think its supposed to be added in the January update.
This works:

Hey Guys , can't v get the tap sensor to work on Customs Roms like MIUI , CyanogenMod in Optimus 2x???
stuppid question , but what for is the tap sensor ? wat does it?
I'm guessing he means the stock ROM feature where you tap the edge of the phone to bump the cursor along.

Have to say I love that feature on the LG keyboard and it's the reason I still use it even if layout and functions (like long hold for nos etc) are better on other keyboards like the GB one

The GB keyboard has cursor keys, which I actually find more useful than the tap function. Just swipe up from the space bar to show them and swipe down to hide them.

Er, no it doesn't. No idea what you're using, but it's not the GB keyboard.

Maybe I should have been clearer. I'm using Keyboard from Android 2.3 by Steven Lin from the market, which does have that feature.
Ah ha, yes that makes more sense. Just had a look, not a bad idea really.
I am using SDE rom by achotjan, i dont like haptic feedback so i switched it off in cynogenmod settings(all options like up, down, long press) and in SOUND setting also but its still there when i use phone dial pad. Is there anyway to avoid it???

Hello guys !
I've seen on screen buttons developed for other devices and I was curious if someone can port it to i9001. I want on screen keys because the capacitive buttons vibrate in the worst mode possible and yet, I can't control their haptic feedback.
Thanks !

I miss the haptic feedback on recent/back buttons. I can't find anywhere in the settings where I can turn it on. Is it available?

i don't think it's available. i checked the menu with a regular S5 and while you've got the haptic feedback settings there, they are missing in the S5 mini...so...we're left out there
Someone got it to work for the S3 Mini, maybe it also works with the S5 Mini:
