[Q] Sgs2 touchwiz 4 Rom Port

Hi Guys
I already searched through this forum but did not find a thread for this. Is it possible to port the sgs2 stock rom to our O2X? From hardware point of view both are pretty similar (tegra 2... ).

The SGSII isn't a Tegra2 phone. There are plans to release one in some markets, but I don't think they have yet.

I know it is an exynos phone but i read that some people received a model with tegra2

The tegra version should be GT-i9103 but the source has not been released yet.
But you never know, they might never even release that tegra 2 version.

i have it in my rom. its my main launcher right now. i deleted all the others. its very smooth and very good

I think you meen the rom because all apps there ex. Camera and radio and so on works with 2.3. But what is with the internal. Because the devices are different hardware. The tegra chip is not the whol phone

the purpose of the same is to keep the development section clean and also provide a place for those who feel they wont get a reply if they post in the general section

i have an optimus 2x and not pleased about stock rom, and as on my nexus one, i would like to run CM7
But before that, i have few questions, that are important to me:
With CM7 does the hdmi output still work?
With CM7 you can fixe the gps lack of update (it seems that yes)
With CM7 is the radio working
Is 2.3.* reliable on optimus 2x?
Is your device much faster?

On this italian Facebook group a user just reported that on LG Open Source site is available the source code of a new ROM, called V20Q.
I'm downloading it right now, but still have no idea of changelog or anything.
Someone has more information?

You just MIGHT want to read this topic over here before posting any of these questions:

Long story short, ICS wasn't released yet, only a test version for the SU660.
Don't ask if it can be ported to the P990, because it can't.
Mod, please close the thread.

Why creating a new thread for that?
There's already one...
And that information is already know by everyone in this forum...ICS is available for Korean version (SU660) but not for International version (P990) yet...
Next time, just make a little research to find similar thread before creating new one.

But the picture is a p990 because there is no antenna and there is no hardware button in the middle like the p660 has.
Let's forgive him please and blame the one that use the wrong picture

I saw it but it's before the official JB's release and bootloader unlock so I started a new topic because of this.

wll, we have (at least some of us) unlock bootloader, but we must still waiting for LG release sources .... after that, i think one week, we could have CM on our 4XHD

Again, if you looked at the actual thread, you'd see the developer's response at the imminent release of JB and the unlocking of the bootloader, which was stopping development on the ICS-compatible version and waiting for LG to release the source code before they release their first version of CyanogenMod's Custom ROM for the LG 4X.
