Managed to compile a REAL FroYo Rom for the Legend based on the Android SDK.
It boots nicely... There is a BUT... The touchscreen is not recieving any input.. I can move around with the trackball... Need a programmer to make sure the trackball is working..
Anyone up for the challenge??????

i know that others (like ali ba) used the kyosa touchscreen patches. maybe you can do the same

So this is a standard-froyo without all the extra crap (Like HTC puts in there, sense and such)?

OK I agree, We can look others device thread, like HERO at the first time it launch, they work together to develops it, and we can work on Legend together and write all improvement here and submit the fix file here for all cheft and users, no secret tweak or step or fix. Open it for everyone. Remember we are a minor user of Android here, and if we are not work together, the development will go slow.
As I follow in GENE and OPAL forum, they do like it, and now, there are a lot of ROM there. the target is to make compatible FROYO for Legend without bug, and I say "YES WE CAN"

I do it a different way, different codes, i started off with this, but then i did more research and i worked out code for myself.
But if i told you how i do my ROM's (I will be releasing a new ROM shortly ) that would be secret telling

I did test before posting this thread. And it worked. Secondly, out of the 106 download (as of this moment) I have not recieved any negative feedback. Albeit I haven't received positive either. Honestly, after creating this tool I have used it a couple of times.

He have developped AlcatelFlasher, a software that can read/write any partition on Idol3.
So, with this app, you can flash TWRP on Idol3.

Hi! At this moment Sahara & Firehose Test Tool app officially support only Idol 3 6039 and Idol 3 6045. I have Idol 4 6055 in my own, and already add it's support to app, but not released this version yet. I plan to add Idol 4 6055k later, if users will interested in this project and make some donations. Work on this was really hard and took more than a month of hard work. It continuing now, but new releases will be available in public after i collect some donate. It all depends on the users themselves. This is free, but project need their support.

Thanks. I wonder if there's not a difference in SIM numbers too. I think mine has only one SIM slot.
I tried to install the drivers on Windows 7, but it fails to recognize my phone when I plug it to my PC.
Mine is 6055u (US maybe)

When I went there I didn't see anything though. I did however use Russian translator so perhaps the translator was wrong????

Edit: it appears that EdXposed is open source. Note that if you install compiled apps, in this case Riru and EdXposed, that you are trusting that the app was compiled using the published source code.
