anyone know about this app!? i installed this app on my phone but i don't know how to use it! according to the developers, this app is for swapping external sd to internal? but i don't know how to do that!!!!
Man... everything is described on official Google play site:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.codlab.int2ext&hl=en
I am using the script with smanager from play store on my gtab 2 7.0 and love it. Only had 4.59 G of space when I got it and after using the script, I now have 32 g of space. It is fairly simple to use. Choose the mount points from where your internal and external storage is located and then hit external to internal and reboot and you should have been swapped

Is there a way to swap internal ans external sd card on the GN? I use extensively the storage, and I prefer my apps store their files on a random sd card.
So, I'm also searching an app that can tell other apps to store their stuffs on ext. sdcard. Many apps don t allow user make the choice.
Thanks!

Thanks, but it just moves apps in internal sdcard.

Hi, I have the CM7 room (temasek) installed on my phone. I would like to know how I can install games date on internal SD? Because all the games which I install go to external SD.
Settings > CM Settings > Application > Check Use Internal Storage, reboot...

Thanks, but all the games which I have instaled on external SD won't work more. There's no way to put some games on sd internal and external in others?

You can find their storage folder and move that.
You can also use GL to SD app to bind folder paths.

Thanks. I used this app when I used the stock room. Not exist no form to choose the SD which I want install?
No.
Normaly Android has only Phone memory and SDcard.
But our phone is equiped with addidtional SD (if you insert it).
But now you can choose what sd you can use and have 2 ways:
Bind path or change mount points.
Cheers
so we all know we have 11gb about or so free for internal storage on JB .. and your external storage is however big your sdcard is (mine is 64gb) well with all these new games that are coming out with .obb files that are HUGE 600+ MB or more .. is there anyway to make the external storage actually internal storage so that when you click move to SD it really moves to your SD card and not internal storage.. i know there are some apps in the appstore that might do this.. but the real question is do they work for Jellybean. because the mounts are different now.

This one worked for me on JB leak. I was able to move the data of NFSMW & Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour to ext sd & play :good:
I m using directory bind. Move your data to ext sd and bind in internal sd.

Apps 2 sd in stock v20a
How can we do this? Am I right in thinking that I can use rommanager to create a partition on the internal sd card? If that is correct then is it not possible to create a partition on external sd to move apps to? Otherwise it would seem pointless because the phone install apps to the internal sd anyhow, So creating a partition to it would be pointless no?
Anyone can shed any light on this fr me as I am just guessing so far?
Anyone know if its possible to swap internal sd and external sd like we can in Cm to get more room?
Thanks if you can help,
Use link2sd and external sd partition method
If you want to move games data to external sd use Foldermount
Both requires root
Search in google you will get more info

That's not what I mean. Link 2 sd just moves game data. I was wanting to swap mounts for internal to external so all apps install to the external 32gb sd card. Or a partition to do it. I use the above programs but I also need more space for installing the apk's.#
In CM you can swap intenal and external in build prop to get the phone to use the larger external card as internal app storage. This does not work in JB if you edit the build prop.
I need a similar way for JB as CM roms are no good for me because of the hdmi output problem (rotation bug).
Has anyone had luck swapping the mounts in JB?

But 16gb is more enough for installing apk
You can move your games data to external sd to save more space
Example: you can install the ironman3 apk in internal sd it's takes about 35mb and move the 780 mb obb data to external sd with foldermount

Hey guys, i've read some threads about the moving of APPS from the internal to the externa sd card via link2SD.
Could somebody outline the steps required to partition the sdcard0(external SD card) so that i can move APPS to my SD card?
Software i'm using for partition is Minitool partition wizard.
Other Info: Sony Xperia SP C5303, build number 12.0.A.1.257, ROOTED phone.
Thankyou! ^^
Depending on size of card you have got I think 4gig is big enough if you have 32 gig card.
I used easeus partion software free version.
The card must be inserted into PC via card reader not in phone, open software select card and move slider to size of partition needed set it to fat32 and make it primary.
When inserted into phone start up link2sd it will ask how you want ext2sd card to be handled select fat32.
Then with in the app select apps to move and then create link to SD this will move them to ext2 on your ext SD card.
Search xda for link2sd for more info.

Hey, is there a way to do it without using a card reader or any other software that doesn't need a card reader in order to partition the sd card to a primary?
Because i just found out that my sd card reader is broken :/
Not that I am aware..... card readers are not that expensive
You need PC to see and read card if it is in the phone it will not show up in partition software.
You can always try.

Alright, i'll go out and purchase a new card reader tomorrow.
Btw, i hav a 8GB micro SD card, is that enough for partitioning?
Thanks for your help again, Much Appreciated ^^.
Yes would be better if you could get bigger like 16 gig.... however if you can't then I would make partition about 1-1.5 gig.... A lot depends on what apps and data you are going to use.
If you are going to install asphalt 7 this has game data of about 1gig, angry birds are about 45 MBS so you can see it all depends on your choice of apps.
Best to back up card to PC before starting Incase it goes wrong but they all say no data will be lost.

If youre going to install lots of obb data games, you probably wouldnt need link2sd much, go for folder mount. If youre installing lots of small games like angry birds, subway surfers and more, then you can use link2sd. My sp setup: 4gb ext4 + rest is fat32 on 32gb card. Using both link2sd and folder mount.

Alright, thanks for the reply.
I'll decide in 1 days time to see if i should go for folder mount way(which i need instructions on it) or whether to go with link2sd.
And yes, i have Ashphalt 7 installed on my phone atm. The game is great and ye takes up alot of space :/
Would you guys be so kind to instruct me on using foldermount if i do decide to go with it that way?
And i might as well buy a 16 or 32gb SD card.
Or should i wait for the Android 4.3 update for our Sony Xperia SP? DOes it support the function of moving APPS to SDCARD?

AFAIK, the foldermount has a restriction of 3 or 4 games only in the free version. Lots of other features in the paid version. Check both the apps out on their respective thread in XDA
Using folder mount is easy to use.
You will need to create a folder on ext SD card (I called mine game data.) Open game data folder you just created and then make another folder (give this the name of the game you are moving over)
Open folder mount app in to box give it name of game.
Middle box select where the game data is either on internal SD card/android/data or SD card/android/data/data
Then bottom box select where to store game data that goes into new folder you just created
Press green tick in to corner when done make sure the pin goes green this make it load at boot.
If game updates the new data will automatically go to the folder you won't need to recreate or re mount.
At boot the folders are automatically loaded
