[Q] Bootloader locked ? - LG Optimus Black

Hi there.
I installed this Android http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031161 but then i wanted to install this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2019968 and after that i saw bootloader is locked in ICS 4.0.4.. i've read somewhere that you must go back to 2.2 or 2.3 so bootloader unlocks.. i tried it but it's not working.. when i press reboot into recovery mode [in rom manager] the phone makes FACTORY RESET ..
Any idea that could help me install Jellybam ?

Try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22311757 to help you get rooted v20 with ClockworkMod Recovery and then follow the instructions in JellyBam

As mentioned in the original thread also, there is no recovery for primehd v8
You have to install it manually or use x8 tool box.

actually you don't need to wipe after installation (unless stated otherwise in roms instructions) i never do and so far i didn't have any problems

It acts as a safeguard against bootloops after flashing custom roms.... and in most of it it's written....

[Q] Can't flash Jelly Bean, Help please!

Hi guys,
I have CivZ_FlexIcer and I love it but I really wanted Jelly Bean, so I flashed it. I kept it for a day and then tried to do something, after that something failed I tried to restore the backup of Jelly Bean I made and it was obviously corrupt because I got stuck on the LG logo. I then NVflashed stock ICS and restored a FlexIcer backup that worked fine. Everytime I try to flash Jelly Bean I get a Status 7 error, I tried the method where you edit the updater script and it installs but after restart the phone gets stuck on the LG logo and I can't mount /system in CWM. No matter what ROM, I always get this error, but ICS roms work fine. I've updated CWM and everything but now I'm stuck on ICS. Please help me!
Thanks,
Kai

I'm on the P990
I fixed it! All I had to do was flash pengus77's CM10 for the new bootloader and his recovery, then flash the ROM and kernel and it works
Thanks for the help anyway guys.

[Q] Installing JellyMod

I apologies If I'm posting in the wrong section, I literally just signed up. I've rooted my device and have got the jellymod file downloaded, however I've looked at some tutorials (couldn't find one specifically for I9070) and they say to use ROM manager with clockwork mod however it seems my model isn't supported so I'm quite stuck, help please!

Do NOT use rom manager...can result in a brick. After you've rooted, install a custom kernel with custom recovery and then just flash the jellymod using custom recovery after placing it in the ext sd card..
Follow this guide

Hope that helps..

Go with CoCore..the same which is in the guide.. i believe that is 5.0 version.. you can update it later to 5.6 or 6.0 if you want to..
Edit- the link is to the main cocore thread.. so you can go ahead and install the latest i.e 6.0 with either twrp or cwm recovery..
