Install the zip via recovery
** you must mount system, data and sdcard before you flash it! if it is already mounted, don't unmount
**it might give you error 0 at the end but if you see that it indeed worked ignore it, it is חprobably something with the unmounting..

Hi everyone,
This week will see the last of V4 support. From next week expect the development team to be focused on V5 of MIUI ROM. The first candidate for release will be the Xiaomi MI-2.
We've already had the benefit of getting our build-bot ready for V5 so we will have MI-2 users covered within about 10 mins of Chinese release.
From that point we do not have any schedule for other devices but rest-assured we will do our best to keep people posted.
To save some stupid questions:
What phones get MIUI v5?
First the Xiaomi MI-2. Then who knows. Stop asking, Kittens DIE!
Samsung SSGSII has JB. When do we get JB MIUI?
We dont have a release date, dont ask! Kittens DIE!
So 3.2.22 is the last MIUI v4 ROM?

Yes, I haven't installed the JB MIUI yet, but I believe it uses h8rift's CM10 as a base. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that.
yes. the ics version is sense based and the jellybean version is cm10 based (sense free). I have to do some work on the jellybean version as some have said it just fc when it boots

Tried the sense based version.Got exceptions (in jist.....the input device had encountered an exception......).installed an alternate keyboard app and switched to the same.working fine now

Yes, JB 2.12.7 Just FC with com.android.phone. Can't boot into Homescreen with the issue

MIUI doesn't usually include gapps. You just have to download and flash the file separately from Goo.im or somewhere similar. Here's a link to the gapps zip you'll need for ICS.
Not sure if you were looking for that, but there's the link just in case.
Update:about a week or more into the rom,i found it 2 b stable with only 1 ramdom reboot.,a few touch not responding errprs,etc.the advanced security options and thrming are awesome!

1. First of all, install ClockworkMod Recovery for this phone:

2. Install RebelROM 3.0.7
Copy 3.0.7 and 3.1 ROMs onto sdcard
Boot into CWM
WIPE everything in CWM (ROM, Data, Cache - before flashing the new ROM)
Flash ROM 3.0.7
Reboot
When it reboots, skip the first setup message that appears and use the powerbutton to reboot back into CWM
3. Install RebelROM 3.1 overtop of 3.0.7
From CWM
Do NOT WIPE ANYTHING
Flash 3.1
Reboot and you are done
I will work on 3.2 eventually that will fix this, and be one zip
Tips and how to's :
With built in modded Xperia S launcer, there is a Preference menu (hit menu button, well on launcher) this allows you to change settings, like disable Text on icons in dock etc (thanks ra3al)

It may not be much but it is just a gesture of appreciation of what you do, Thank you and great rom. I am thrilled. One more question. Any ICS rom is in works from you or any other android fan. I love love this phone. I had a LG Optimus V before but Tmobile coverage and 4g is much better than Virgin Mobile though LG Optimus V is a solid phone.

OMG i was at work for 4 and a half hours and i missed soo much!!!! I realize that 2.1 came out. then there was a email error so there is a 2.1 fix??? can someone please paste a link to the latest version. im currently running on 2.0 stable. is it just 2.1 or is there a 2.1 email fix that i have to flash over????? HELP

1. Unlock Screen then Auto Reboot
Don't touch the lock icon.
From top of the screen bring down the notification screen and select settings button in that.
In settings check if you have any enabled accessiblity services. (thanks to varunbhatbm for the tips)
2. My Battery Life is worst, any solution?
Try match your RIL with your Baseband.
Also, you should discharge your phone below 20%,

I'm currently on SelfKang2 and the latest 48mb ics iron kernel. Everything was fine until few hours ago. Since then I've had two random reboots. I am not sure whats causing this but since this build is based on the rc I just wanted to put it out there.
On which kang this rom based? Latest kang3?

I have asked in XDA and Google+ but got no reply as I am nothing.
I just ask the DEV of G2x who publish the ICS Rom based on CM9 and he said that it is open source and sharing is caring so I publish my Rom too
There are always some people voting one star in my thread but do not give any comments and opinions. I hate those and I may not continue development if someone continue to do these silly things.

From Alien to Nova (Teranova Fox ) well done hope SK3 better than previous (SK1 & SK2) I also got problem that SK3 not wake me up (alarm not ring maybe deep sleep) but good news it not die on wall charging.

- my cam worked 3 or 4 times in 10 attempts for taking a picture and didnt work for video recording.
- the worst bug i've found and this make me back to cm7: Like on MIUI, every time i use wi-fi my phone is incapable to get back to mobile data connection. i need to enable flight mode and disable it to get data connection up again.
if anyone here know how to fix this last bug related please help me. i try a lot of bb/ril combinations, almost (if not) all kernels of this forum, and i try almost roms. i get 100% connection only on cm7. some stock versions gimme that error too.

get rid of the 'systemui.apk'... that *may* fix the status bar bug...
As I had seen in mastershefis's ROM, he has a MIUIsystemui.apk and systemui.apk...
That causes conflict between those 2...

I respect what he has done even Arjen does, its like having the (almost) same rom from two developers (guess i can call them devs or not). My previous comment would have contained an advise to fundooz to work along with master to perfect the rom rather than creating a new thread with the almost same rom.
For an example, you can see Arjen and Lupohirp themselves
But i didn't conclude that
Just stay calm and let everyone have their opinions
It's fine when people want to release rom's, but instead of cloning someones work it's better to work together on it. That's why I started helping Lupohirp because he was a little faster
We don't need 10 of the same roms, that's why my reaction was so harsh

I'm currently working on a Full Optimised Tablet Version of MIUI for the Note.
It will be considered as a side project while I'm still heavily focused on MIUI Revolution.
If I am successful, it would not be interchangable with MIUI Revolution as it would be a totally different port.

Performance of MIUI Launcher.
The reason why the launcher stutters a little because it's not natively made for ICS.
It was extracted out of GB for MIUI ICS.
We have to wait until MIUI China build a new launcher from the ground up to support ICS natively.
If you are not happy with the performance of the launcher, use Apex or Nova.

Wifi Tethering Fix:
Hi, apparently WiFi Tethering is broken since MIUI 2.2
Use this for now. Tested and tried.
Set WiFi Tether Device Profile to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM)
It will work.

Yup. Fix by going to preferences in titanium backup and choose "Restore backups too..." choose INTERNAL.

Leave the default settings of ODIN. Don't touch anything except PDA
Tick PDA and put PDA as the file I9220LP1-N7000-ICS-REPACK-1.tar which you downloaded
FLASH! You will see a Yellow Triangle after booting.
You can use TriangleAway to get rid of it.

MIUI 2.3.23 is way buggier than I anticipated. Way too many force closes.
The Launcher didn't get better. It got worse. You can't even add widgets on it.
So I'm skipping 2.3.23.
Anticipate MIUI Revolution V3 next Friday.

No. Tablet-UI mode is not supported yet.
You can flash it but it might lead to unforeseen problems.
