Anyone willing to convert Nexus 4 rom to Optimus G? - Nexus 4 General

On the AT&T forums for the Optimus G, they've had a bounty for any developer able to give us an aosp-like rom for the phone. In my ignorance, I'd assume this is little different than someone throwing a Nexus 4 rom on the galaxy Nexus or even the Nexus s
Is anyone up to the task of conversion? I imagine jelly bean is the preference but he'll anyone there would die even to have stock ics
Last time I checked the bounty was near 300.00 and will likely go higher
Please someone for the love of Pete make it happen!

The thread title is a bit misleading. If you truly want to spark any interest with developers change the title.

Well I've done that and as of yet you're the only response. Guess I just need to be more patient.

I know my post may be pretty useless, but change the word "convert" to "port." Sounds sooo much better

Not useless at all. Port is the correct term.
Ordered my Nexus 4 on Nov. 13th. Still waiting.

I wish companies would give tentative dates as to releases on these devices like samsung did with their new galaxy tabs. I was actually going to buy a xoom wifi until I saw samsung was releasing the new tabs in june.

So i finished the port, but something is wrong with device specifics. Since the build isn't really functional, unless you are an app developer, I'm not going to invest more time into the port. Sorry guys, ill pick it up again when there is a more... useful build available to port.

I actually have a decently functioning d2att port. How to install if interested:
First make a backup
Then wipe data. You can dirty flash if you're already running cm10.1 but don't dirty flashes are a no-no.
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/p4FgJsnN
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/KoRbVtrT
But WiFi/cell service doesn't work at all yet so just understand that before you flash. Also the screen doesn't really shut off. Sort of a pain in the butt but still, its for developers haha.
Oh and also MAKE A BACKUP.
This actually isn't all my work, i just simply modified a few text files. Here is the original thread:

New phone?

Okay, I've put a thread like this in the skyrocket forums and I've been talking to people in the HTC one forums and I can't decide. Since this is a tablet thread I'm hoping I can get some unbiased opinion. Its down to the HTC one or the s4. What do you guys think?
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda premium
The S4 isn't even released yet. Therefore opinions on it are non existent.

The new HTC looks great, and I'm sure the S4 will have incredible specs... but I will never buy a non-Nexus phone again.
All the useless add-ons, the long waits for updates, quirky behaviors, not worth it.
Buy a Nexus 4 or if you really want wait until May to see what comes out then (like a Nexus 5?). But don't keep waiting for something better forever.
I'm not gonna get a nexus 4. Too fragile for me.

But so far, no one can offer Chromecast support until Google allows it—and for now, only Netflix and Hulu have entered that charmed circle. Google insists that it will open the gates to all developers, someday. Unfortunately, the company refuses to say when that will be.

So we have to deal with you lurking for another year? Go back to your LTE forums! Jk....
*Cough*...anyway, to the OP, while I'm sure that a port from the preview will surface eventually, don't hope for much. Especially since this is only a preview, not many devs seem to be overly eager to jump on that bandwagon.
There are still bugs in the preview build, so porting it to another device might make things a little more complicated than usual. Ultimately, waiting for the source of the complete Android L to drop is best for everyone. A very respectable dev has already bricked his Nexus tablet while trying to build an Android L rom, and that's a device that both the factory image AND the source code was released for...so go figure.
