I'm afraid not rraka. This is how the vast majority of super bricks occur. (Me and HG42 included). Most of the rest is flashing ROMS from unsafe kernel.(even eybee did it flashing PA from MIUI). But yes, you are right. It's HG42, warranty, or pay for new mobo/phone.

Shoey, it seems he was bricked before using pit file. But if you use the standard pit file on top of a brick it makes matters worse.
with a little patience one can overcome the emmc brick, unless one has warranty and prefer to go to sammy for mb replacement. i really dont know where he stands.

try getting into download mode and flash a stock GB rom from pc odin without any pit file and repartition unticked. report back
Well you can try flashing pre-rooted GB from Dr. Ketan with PC odin, but the prognosis is not good. He also has proper PIT file for note1. Perhaps someone can provide link, or just search...
Edit. Just saw your post above mine Rraaka
Yes, If no warranty, and GB flash gets stuck, Then it's time to pay a visit to Hg42.

Well you definitely didn't follow the CM10 installation instructions "step by step" since they say NOT to do this in bold red text.
Your 2 options are to send it for a motherboard replacement, or repartition and bypass the damaged sectors which means you'll lose 3 or so gb of rom space. Follow instructions to the letter at all times, short cuts invariably lead to total bricks especially when dealing with ics.

Sure it can be done by software, because there is a samsung service tool, which cost a lot of money, and that can fix this only from software.

It didn't work, so I sent the phone to a specialised service, they told me that there is a 50% change they can fix it and if not then I can throw the phone, and if they can fix it then it will cost $40-45

Have you tried it downgrading to GB? I suppose that's where your phone was working, right? Do you still have the warranty, if yes, flash everything back to stock and than try to send it to Samsung, but it can be that you phone regains the IMEI and other info back, have read this from similar threads from multiple devices with the same problem.
downgrading to GB did not help, I don't think the warranty will cover this...the custom flash counter is 16

My phone was neverlocked, and it's multi-region, the original firmware had the same code as the Hong Kong phones, and I am located in Europe.
When I flashed this Russian JB rom, I got a warning message on the phone: WARNING: Custom Modem ! ...very strange !
That custom modem is responsable for the whole issue. Unfortunately my knowledge is limited and I'm unable to help you.
Still, my advice is the same: flash GB, reset that counter and go to samsung service. Probably they will discover that you flashed another FW, but at least you'll know if and how it can be repaired.

I have a 4.1.2 android version of GT-N7100. I'm on an official rom. My phone is NOT rooted. Will a hard reset (by entering into a recovery mode, and factory reset) can brick my phone?
Is there any steps that i have to do before doing a hard reset?
I read a lot of threads and i get confused with myself about the SG-note being brickable.
EDIT: Okay nevermind. I will just patch a safe kernel and do a hard reset.
A factory reset will delete all user installed apps, and all settings will be returned to default.
Back up your internal sd card, phone and sms logs.

Not all phones get bricked when a full wipe is performed.
If you got lucky, and didn't bricked yours, you can't suppose it's safe and recommend it to everyone. That is just a plain stupid thing to do.
JB does have the emmc cap erase enabled, so it is NOT safe. Just look at the sources.
