See If you have suspend_backoff kernel wakeup i Better Battery Stats. If so - try uninstalling Chrome from your device.
Chrome is uninstalled since few hours ago.. now i have 6 hours of "awake".
I installed better battery stats and will report back, thanks.

Reboot?

Or just kill the app..
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Rebooted and killed app too... cleared cache too nothing helped
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
That sounds weird, are you sure is the gmail app causing this? Maybe it's something else. Check which applications are running and start killing them, you should eventually find it.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
How can i search that process? By apps menu?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Yes, in the apps menu, select the tab "running" and start your killing spree there. That assuming you are in ICS/JB. To be honest, I've been in ICS for so long now that I don't remember if this menu is there in GB, maybe someone else can assist if you are running an older version of Android.
I am running ics and i cant see any process related to this
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Turn off the phone barerii out for 15 minutes and re-start if the factory reset does not help.
Just uninstall the Gmail app and reinstall it again. It will solve the problem but it seems weird though...
Hi guys,
Maybe some of you have experienced this before, when I put my note away the screen of it gets lit up as if there was an app keeping it from sleep mode. But this happens even right after I have terminated all apps and processes. So technically barely anything runs. I think it might be a software issue? Any ideas please?

Install the CPU spy.apk (Play Market). This app will tell you if your phone is in deep sleep.
can u post the battery stats
open your battery, wait 10 seconds, reassemble and turn it back on... if you're still facing the problem, install and run CPU Spy from Play Store and see which app/service is keeping you phone from sleeping and uninstall that.
It's probably a kernel wakelock
Will try the CPU spy application now. Will post my findings.

Should I be looking at these processes that are possibly waking my phone up? So far I don't see how this app is solving my problem.
Thanks so much
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
this l2_hsic wkelock is mainly caused by unplugging the charger without unlocking the lock screen. or unplugging when the screen is black.
Its a known bug
shutdown ur phone., pull out battery, wait for 10 secs., reinsert and reboot. The wkelock should be gone. test again with betterbatterystats

Make sure is running in background
I suggest you to move this app in system and don't disable notification from app
Go to setting>application>select this app and choose hide notification option

Hi guys,
Like in the title, nevertheless I disable NFC ,it continues to remain active. I've flashed the unofficial CyanogenMod with hardware customization. I actually tried to freeze it with titanium backup pro but checking battery stats it still drains battery. Here are the screenshots.
Thank you in advance.

If you are in cm, this is a common bug. Turn off NFC and reboot device.
Thanks but problem solved. I deleted completely the service NFC and now it doesn't compare even in settings. The stats are now okay as well

My phone is consuming too much battery power.
I will give you picture and tell me if this consumption is normal if not tell me why am I getting this awkward battery problem.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
I think thats normal since you surf the net much or you can try read the thread at the galaxy SIII mini general forum about the latest kernel for better battery life.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
Thanks but still.
I used to surf on my old xperia 2 hours and battery would be 90%

Try the maclaws aosp only there is a issue about camrecorder.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda premium
uhmmm, is there any other official good rom except cm?
Try benz rom. It has good battery life and performance.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
You can give it a try to a new rom if you have rooted your device, if you haven't you can install juicedefender from google play to optimize your battery life and optimize your time while surfing the web with chrome.
