Hi All,
I recently installed JellyTime 4.2.1 which is based on CM 10.. I had also tried Lacoste 4.2.1 which is based on CM 10.1
I could not find any difference between the two ROMs..
Can you help me in understanding what is the difference between CM 10 and CM 10.1?
thanks

CM 10 is android 4.1.x and CM 10.1 is Android 4.2.x So that is basically only diff.

JellyTime ROM claims to be 4.2.1 but it is CM 10 based.. then is it not true 4.2.1 ?:cyclops:

If it says 4.2.1 under about phone then there is almost no difference. JellyTime just got rid of a bunch of CyanogenMod stuff like statistic reporting and stuff like that. Im pretty sure that all 4.2.1 for IncSexcept for JellyTime are built or modded from dla5244's Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1
Hi - I want to have a rom most like the standard android jellybean seen on the Google Nexus 7 for example.
Which Rom should I go for?
many thanks
This one:

on Galaxy Note?!
You'll want something AOSP based so for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796217
That is cyanogenmod 10.1 (Jelly Bean 4.2.2) - they are nightly builds as they are not entirely stable.
whats the most stable one? For example I have used PA which is great but would slim bean be more stable?
What I mean by stable is that they claim they are unstable - sometimes something isn't working with cyanogenmod but then it is working the next day with the new nightly, they can all be use as a daylt build though. As for slim bean - they usually have the odd bug in each of their builds, I haven't checked out their 4.2.2 build 1 or 2 however.
In short words - don't worry about the stability.

For the last couple of weeks I've been using SlimBean 4.2.2 and Carbon 4.2.2.
Both are clean, pure and stable.
Is RC2 enough stable or stock is better? There is two nightlys after that. Which should I choose, RC2 or latest nightly?
I think RC2 is better.
i want to use a rom long time.Slim is good or cm10 or another ?
Probably Slim Bean
CM 10.0 stable in my case (andoid 4.1.2) was terrible. Much lag, unstable and terrible battery. However after changing kernel to Semaphore CM 10.0 was very stable, much smoother and better batterytime.
Now I am using CM 10.1.2 and it's original kernel is much better than the one of CM 10.0. However I am very curious how the performance will be with Semaphore.
But in between (after CM 10) I have flashed and used Slim Bean 4.2.1. It was like CM 10.0 on steroids and very stabble with better batterytime. I am very happy about CM10.1.2, but when Slim Bean comes with a stable 4.2.2 Android there is a 90 percent change I will go to that rom.
Choose slimbean 7.5, you will no regret!
Hi,
I use Nook HD+ in my workplace only because its the tablet with no camera. I currently have CM10 and looking to update it to CM11 or 12 but not sure which version is the most stable. I don't care about the fancy features, just need no-lag and no crashes.
Which ROM and version (nightly/snapshot?) should I go for?
Thanks
Latest CM 11 nightlies is the most stable (in my opinion, of course). Tested it on my HD and HD+, my choice for both devices. Get it here for your HD+: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ovation
Mokee

Pacman ROM has been great for me. CM worked OK until I tried some of the unofficial Lollipop versions. I haven't tried Mokee, but pacman incorporates features from it.

I've used Tesamek's CM11.0 ROM for a long time without many problems. The display does flicker every now and then. Currently trying the CM13.0 ROM.
