i cant upate s5830ixxlk2 ota...... but on sammobile firmware page ther is option to dowload this firmware .....
when i upadate ota it says no update available why this is so even there is an update s5830i...
my current firmware is s5830ixxli1...
plzzzzz sm1 help me........

I don't know why you didn't get the update. Go to settings,phoneinfo (or however), then go to the lowest setting. It should find a update

Hello guys,
I am from Greece and i am a new p990 user!
I bought my phone from Greece but the device was from Vodafone DE.
The gingerbread update is released.
My phone got s/w version V10E , still with Android Froyo 2.2.2.
I was trying to update it via LGMobile support Tool , but all the time i got the same msg : "The Cell phone is the latest version already. So you don't need to update."
Could you plz tell me what i could do? Is it possible to remove vodafone rom and replace it with a stock Gingerbread LG ?

replacing IMEI_HERE with your own IMEI, it will tell you what version your phone should be.

i think i found a solution. Eventually Vodafone Germany got V10E as last version . Probably they are still without gingerbread. i took the decision to download from xda the gingerbread rom and trying a manual update on my phone.

assuming that u dont want it to be rooted .. go to sammobile.com register >>Firmwares> select your location and download the latest rom . Flash it using Odin by going into download mode(Volume down+power+home button). google for flashing through odin
u shd check kies if u want to get offical upgrade from ur carrier .. tho sammobile is also alternative

install heimdall and get freshest firmware from sammobile.com,

get into download mode, flash firmware.

Sir i did what u said but the problem is after clicking firmwares all i had on my screen was this! i want a firmware which supports pakistan or am i wrong ???will these firmwares do the work??

Sorry, mate, but you are messing two things:
- OFFICIAL update, which you are asking for - is available ONLY via Kies.
- STOCK update - you can use samfirmware, or Ramad's thread.
k so how to download kies coz i cant see any option there to download kies
I would recommend you to use Mysterious Finder, top secret, do not populate it!!!.
There, you would find the field to input what you are looking for.
I suggest you to write: Samsung KIES.
You will be amazed how this big secret works there

Hey guys, wanna ask ull that im getting a message "Your device does not support software upgrading via KIES" when my attempt to update my note to ICS? before this i had changed to other stock rom from other country (India) and had rooted my device. My phone originally come preloaded with GB software from other country version as im buying the AP set. Can someone help me? Im from Malaysia...

Hi there any chance to get a the offical update in .tar.md5 ? for european users i look in samfiremware and nothing posted about for download link ? why they are so stupid and dont get the software for all... ? i`am stuck on 4.4.2 G900AUCU2ANG3, if i tick the update software and i recive the blesseing message "Current software is up to date" please try in 24 hours again ! ! ??? any chance to have the file for upgrade on odin ?

Hi guys, frst post here ....so since i bght the Huawei p9 last year i haven't received a single ota update yettt, i m sick and tired of waitin fr the emui 5.0 thy told march will b the global rollout bt jst 4 days left fr march to end , last mnth i tried to download it via firmware finder app and tht dint help "software upgrade failed" b361 and yesterday i tired anther firmware b385 same with tht ,i jst dono will the update ever come y soooo long stck in b170 fr centuries -_- my firmware eva l19c185b170 ,also tried downloading latest package tht dint help too , so thnx in advance if anyone can help me out or share if u have same issue

For me firmware finder worked like a charm. I could upgrade to B378 eaz.
The problem happens only when ur trying to install a corrupted or not compatible software. Try another version for your l19c185
