[Q] Can I use Ansar method to downgrade? - HD7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to any sort of mobile unlocking/custom ROMS.
I'm looking to install Deepshining v8 on my HTC HD7.
After some research I've learnt that I need to downgrade my phone's SPL, as it's above 5.
I was wondering if it could be accomplished using Ansar's method (I couldn't find a concrete answer).
It would also be appreciated if anyone could point me in the direction of what files to downgrade with.
Here are my firmware and bootloader values:-
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.51101.401
Hardware revision number: 0002
Radio software version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Radio hardware version: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version: 5.11.2250.0(134578)
Chip SOC version: 2.2.5.0
Thanks for any help.

Forget it!
Go with the goldcard is thesafest method...

You have to revert back to a pre-nodo rom(7004). Unlock with chevron. Apply the prevent relock hack. Upgrade back to nodo(7392) via zune. Then install touchxplorer and setup a custclear.provxml in the windows directory to unlock mango(7.1.7661) if you wanted to upgrade to mango beta. If not your now unlocked on nodo
All info for this is under windows phone 7 dev. and hacking forum

At the step where I have to download a Nodo or Pre-Nodo firmware, can I download any of those provided in the list for TMOUS as I have a T-Mobile US unlocked phone?

yes, as long at it is a the same 'branding' as your 'stock' device.
so, if your device is TMOUS branded then any Pre-Mango TMOUS should be fine.

To be able to install a custom rom you have to:
1. Downgrade your SPL.
2. Flash a non-test, nodo or pre-nodo rom.
3. Install RSPL/HSPL.
4. Flash a custom rom.
Since your bootloader version is 5.12, there are only two methods to which you can do this.
1. Use Zubair Kirmani's method. You have to have a pre-mango Zune backup/restore point saved on you p/c
2. Use the Goldcard/Y cable method
Both of these methods are further explained in Shadows excellent tutorial here:

If you have any questions or need help, just let me know!
Thanks for the reply sir. will try it and if i have question will ask to you again
thanks again..
