DNS Settings help

Ok im trying to change my DNS settings since im using my fone as a router and i use the slice host app and i wanted to change my DNS settings but it said something about access denied and something to do with my API. Can someone help me with it. Thx in advance.

Twitter for Donut 1.6? What's REALLY going on?

I must have tried every twitter app on the android market and I can't get one single twitter app to work? Is it just me or is it my phone, twitter, or what? Is it not compatible with Donut? I'm usually pretty good about resolving these issues or finding solutions but this has got me stumped!!

Did you try twidroid? Also, if you did, did you put a check next to the option to use SSL?

I have tried twidroid from the market and I have checked the SSL box and still it does not let me log on. I have tried it connected through my wifi network and through the 3G network, both with the same results? What should I try next?

You've got many apps in the Market that can do the same, and more easily through Wifi. On screen sucks for battery drain.

Like? I havent found any. The only one I found (lazydroid) isnt working with cyanogen.

[Q] How to disable pattern/password with VPN enabled?

Is there a way i can disable pattern/password lock when I have VPN activated?
There's app that totally disable lock screen (No Lock), but i want simple swipe lock screen, not pattern or password.
Is there any solution for this

I am wondering the same, I use vpn and remote desktop Alot at work
But I still don't want the lockcode..

Yes you can, it works with any vpn service, it just needs configured. I use it with Private Internet Access.

I wanted to know if there is a method for changing the proxy setting s for various apps in my phone to the same as the wifi proxy.

No.I want to use the proxy for my apps.For eg playstore can be accessed from browser but not app because the proxy is not configured.

What are you talking about
What proxy are you using? It's an app your installed? Proxies are for browser usually i don't understand why you're talking about app and proxy that doesn't work together.
Can you tell me more about what you try to do?

So you're trying to say that only the browser works and all other apps have no internet access?? Facebook and stuff?
Edit: Finally understood the situation, if you're using the schools wifi and they blocked apps to work (my college wifi does that too), the only way to get it to work is if they unblock it themselves. That's why you should get a data plan lol

Haha! Here we are! You're trying to bypass the security proxy of the wifi
If it's your wifi desactivate it, if you're in public place or school, you're *****ed

Is VPN an option for you? Sounds like deep packet inspection to me. If you'd use VPN your whole traffic will be encrypted. So no dpi to look in your traffic
