[Q] 1Mobile market installation error - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
So yesterday i was having a small problem with 1mobile market so i uninstalled it, when i tried to reinstall it i got the following message
"Out Of Space.
1Mobile market could not be installed. Free up some space and try again."
I have about 4gb of free space so I am sure it's something else, any ideas?

look in the apps directory of your root.. that happened to me once after using Lucky Patcher, it was because LP made another copy of the app.. maybe thats your problem too

[Q] CM7 market does not show "My Apps" (fixed)

i have this weird problem:
first, i'm running CM7 from a verygreen's SD card
it was running fine but i had some force closes so i resintalled from the begining (reflashed verygreens image), then installed CM7.0.2, installed gapps, and when the market was downloading all of my apps, my system crashed down, and had to reboot.
After that, i havent been able to see my free apps in the "My Apps" tab of the market, i can see my paid apps.
tried to reflash again verygreens image to delete everything, upgraded to n59, still, only see my paid apps. tried restore them with titanium, and they restore, but the "Attach to market" option does not work for me
when i log to the web market, it shows that all my apps (free and paid) as if they were already installed
has anyone else seen this behaviour? any idea?
thanks

Not really, but you might try this... Install and run Appbrain, sync up with it, etc.. then go into the Market app.
When I was messing with ROMs a while back with apps already on my SD ext partition they'd show up to run but not in the Market, but running Appbrain always "attached" them for me. Did it several times.
Using CM7, I was experiencing the same issue, but any new app I downloaded, free or paid, would then show up in the market. I wasn't too concerned, as I only had 5 free apps from the market. Amazon Market, which is where most of my apps are, showed all without an issue.

thanks a lot, this attached all my restored apps (with TitatiumB) to the market again.
missing apps still fail to be re-downloaded, but not a problem since i have a full backup of my apps, just have to restore them and reattach with appbrain

[Q] Rocket ROM 19 Galaxy Note, Google Search don't want to update

Hi,
Google Search on my note don't want to update (error message from market) when i try to update manually.
Already clear Cache on market, and history Cache.
Market tell me to deinstall application b4 trying to reinstall, which is something i can't do right now.
What should i do to make this update ?
Uninstall with something like titanium backup. Reboot. Install from market.

Succeeded to uninstall but can't reinstall from market throw me another error message. And sometimes market can't connect too
Strange, no problems for me to install Google Search by first uninstall it with TB, and rebooting and installing from market...
Also with TB you can long press on Google Search and convert to system app to get the long press on menu key option to work again...

[Q] Market Server Error After Flashing Cyanogen

Samsung Captivate SGH-I897
Rooted with Odin
Android Version 2.3.7
Flashed Cyanogen 7.1.0
Kernel Version 2.6.35.12
gapps 2011 0828
After flashing ROM and installing google apps, I get "Server error, Retry" message when trying to connect to Android Market. Doesn't matter if I try connecting using 3g or wifi. When I connect to the Market using my computer, I see all my apps listed as "installed". When I choose to install a new app from the Market using my computer, it shows that it's being sent to my phone, but my phone never gets it. Anybody know what's going on?
Nothing Google is working. Typing a search in the google search box forces web browser to close. Reset phone and entered info for google account, but I get the same error message.
Try this:
Go to Settings>Application>Manage Apps>All
Then scroll down and look for the Market app. Press the app, force stop, then clear data. Do a normal reboot just to make sure. Then see if that fixed it.

Yeah, tried that a couple times. Did it again, just for fun, with same result. Am I using the wrong google apps pack? I'll try a couple different ones. Really want google to recognize my phone again. Currently, no syncing of gmail, calendar, contacts, app updates, etc.
ok. Quick update. Found info on Cyanogen forum that recommended Re-flashing Cyanogen 7.1.0 and re-installing google apps pak. After I did this, my phone asked me to sign in to google accounts, and immediately started downloading all my Market apps. I was excited until, my status bar said "error downloading xxxx" for each and every app it tried to restore. After the 47th app, it finally stopped and gave the error message: "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
As it turns out, about 1/3 of my apps were restored properly. Not sure what to do about the rest.
Ah I'm sorry about that. I had the same problem before and all I did was clear data to fix it.
(For future reference, use titanium backup, downloadable from the market, to backup&restore your apps before flashing a new ROM. Make a copy of the Titanium Backup folder from your SD card and store it on your PC. That way, if you accidentally formatted your SD card, you'll always have a copy of the folder to restore your apps.)

Thanks. I did make a Titanium backup, but needed to install Titanium from the market in order to restore it. As it turns out, after rebooting the phone, the market app is working now, so I just decided to restore the apps I want manually. Currently, I am using my computer to look at my library of apps on the market, and clicking install to restore only the ones I really want. It's nice to see that all the ATT bloatware is available if needed, but it's not being forced on me.
Glad things worked out for you, eventually. Yes, that's a nice feature from AT&T. I don't like their apps it just takes up space. But if I need to sell my phone as stock its nice to have the AT&T apps back

[Help]Market Problem - Amarullz

I'm using Apocalypse Final + Amarullz. Been using it for quite some time now.
I stupidly wiped cache and dalvik earlier. Experienced force closing applications every now and then. I uninstall and reinstall all of the apps that are force closing. Everything is fine after that. But when I tried downloading or even updating apps in play store. It always say "Error: Package file is invalid" or "Insufficient Storage"
I tried solving it on my own. Googled it. Searched some ways here on XDA. After 3 hours of experimenting... No luck.
Help? Anybody here knows how to solve this problem?
Edit : I think I posted this in the wrong forum. Mod please move this to Q&A if its so. Thank you.

Problems installing Google Play Music

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if any of you had problems installing Google Play Music on their touchpads.
When I try to install from market, it says "app already installed". I pretty much tried everything I could think of, I tried installing via ADB with -r, I reflashed, cleared cache etc... but it still will not install. I never installed the application so I do not know where this error could come from...
I am running CM9 Fat and Creamy.
Any ideas?
That's the only app I use for music! I've never had a problem getting it to install. Chances are you might have it under your disabled apps. Have a look in your manage apps, and should be at the very bottom of the list greyed out if it's disabled.

Hey thanks for the reply.
The app was never actually installed... I looked again in the app section of the settings and reenabled everything, cleared cache and dalvik and rebooted, but it still gave me the error message when trying to install.
I guess I should try to wipe in CWM... (just to be sure, this will not erase the sdcard partition right?)
Same issue
I'm having this same problem. It seems to only be with Google Music because I can get other apps to download and update just fine. I've downloaded and installed the app on my phone which is linked to the same google account I wonder if this could have to do with it? Like you I've tried clearing both caches multiple times with reboots. Force closing and wiping all app data for the play store, all to no avail.
