If u have no backup u will have to download and install every single one again. If u partition ur sd it will be reformated into 2 partitions. So there isnt anything on ur sd atm

I had them backed up on the sd using titanium, do I take it that when I partition the sd it wipes everything including backups? I thought they would have moved to the partition? Is that not the case? Thanks for the reply by the way much appreciated

A friend of mine bought a i9000 with some problemes that he thought he could solve but he couldn't so i post here hoping you can help him.
His i9000 works just fine until you wanna open some app or surf the web,his apps keep crashing,he can't save something on the phone,if you take a photo it does not get saved. If you wanna try and reset it to factory setings the phone crashes and after restart no changes have been made.
He tried to resoft it but he could not find a full andoid software for i9000,he find only updates to recent versions of andoid.
I hope that you understand what i've said and have a solution for my friend. Sorry for my grammatical errors.

Andoid version 2.3.6 Gingerbread
He can browse with file manager but when he tries to delete something it says like this(Media file scaning) and after this the deleted file reappears.
His internal memory has only 400 mb ocupied of 6 Gb,i don't think memory is the problem.
Every single app is crashing.
I also had a problem with subway surface in my gt-i9001 when my Rom was official gingerbread that when i close the game screen go black so i had to Disconnect the battery and put it back again but when i change my rom to cm 10.1 the problem has gone :good::good::good:
My suggestion is that its a software problem i would reflash stock android keep in mind using the right files be careful at this stepp ( make sure you have a i9000 not some koren or some other version ) then i would go to a custom jb rom since there are alot of them here.
Hope it helps good luck

Can you give me a link where i can find stock android.
He tried to instal a custom rom but when he opens the files from phone,it says (BAD) , don't open and the file are deleted automaticaly. He also said to me that if he puts something on phone memory, the phone does a memory scan and after that the files disapears.
Someone said him that phone motherboard could be the fault.

Hmmmm it could be corrupted internal memory if you look around the forun here youl find loads of threads with similar problems
There are much more experienced people here who could help you better than me my suggestion would be to try to find out in what state your internal phone memory is.

I need help, currently my os is the jellybean version. All along my fone always have lots of apps running behind til I reduce to 6-8 apps. But lately I try to update apps, it prompt me insufficient memory. I tried my ways to stop apps to run but still can't. I check my device memory is only 202mb. Usbstorage got 7.52gb. May I ask wat is the root problem. I really wanted to do a hard reset to factory setting. Anyways can help...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Hard reset on jb isn't safe. If you have not root your phone then root with philz safe kernel. Then only do hard reset.
Everytime you uninstalling an app make sure to clear data first so that it could free some memory which previously used by the app.
Your running out of storage memory or ram?

Is your device rooted?
When you open file manager how much GB does it say available in "sdcard"
It's always so much harder when you have to try (David Gray).
OK. When I open the file manager, my sd card definitely have enough memory cos I still have 24gb memory. I believe is my device memory in the fone, giving me problem.

I found a topic which is related my problem too but seems like no1 able to help.. do I really need to stop all the files from running behind or last option to restore back to factory setting?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I got this msg... can anyone tells me how should I rectify it.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Device rooted? If you are, go to folder root/data/log and delete some logs with name something like dumpstate_ril_RESET_BY_CP_SILENTRESET_20130801070641.
Deleting these files frees up space. About 6mb per file. No adverse effect so far for me. Not sure about deleting other files.
Sent from my GT-N7000
Thanks. But I have not rooted my note. Now I'm facing lots of app unable to use. Reason due to insufficient storage to sync.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
It might not help but you could try avg cleaner off of the play store or else disk defragmenter
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Like what i mentioned before. It is most likely that those file are created by system and stored in you root partition. The only way i know is to root the phone and delete those files.
Sent from my GT-N7000
May I ask what is the recommended software for rooting my fone?
Anyway I have check with the samsung service centre. I was told the device is for install apps., so I only have 2gb of apps.
For the deleting of files, I worried I might delete the wrong files and cause malfunction of the fone.. I guess I need to delete some folders in the fone

Search for Philz thread and read it. That is the easiest and safe way to root N7000. As for logs deleting, the logs filename i mentioned is safe for deleting.

On JB roms and above the max. partition size for apps to be installed is decreased from 1.95GB (or 1.86 in most cases) to roughly 1.5GB (slightly smaller than that), probably to allow more space in /system for things such as system apps and so on.
When you flash back to GB, the data partitions will change again and so you'll have 1.95GB, but when you flash to JB, this will naturally decrease.
1.25GB does seem to be less than usual even for JB roms, so do ask around to other users and see if they have the same amount of storage. If they do, then you know its just how the rom is naturally.
