I've just installed CM9 (provided by kallt_kaffe, thanks) on my GT-P7310 and wonder what's the best way to enable NFS on it. I saw this post

that had modules (including NFS) for GT-P7500. Could I use those modules? If not, what other options are there? Do kernel modules really need to be flashed to the device?

I'm used to compiling my own CM7 ROM + Kernel. I'd very much like to implement g-recovery by sergey1369, but I'm not sure where to put the files from http://code.google.com/p/g-recovery/source/browse/.

The question probably doesn't belong here but unfortunately I couldn't find what I wanted to know elsewhere. I've seen that there is a CM port kernel in the kernel list but what does a CM port kernel actually do? Can you install Cyanogenmod ROM with it? Sorry for the basic question but it would very nice if somebody could help me out here!
The kernal fixes some problems in the Roms is what I read? I'm not sure if you can install it with or without it.
You can use the kernel, if you have installed the T700 cm-11.0 build from eousphoros:

So I need to flash the ROM first and then the Kernel?
Yes. You will also need to root again the rom isn't rooted.

Hello guys i want to ask one question for those who know kernel modification. Is it possible to add kcal option and sound tweak option in stock kernel ?. I m using miui rom and i love kcal and sound tweaks function but only for 2 feature i dont want to switch to other custom kernel bcoz all kernel have some issue. If this is possible plz do this modification in stock kernel. Thank u
