Verizon Galaxy Tab cyanogenmod 9 wont run with sd card in - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a galaxy tab on contract from Verizon, and I wanted to put cyanogenmod 9 on it. Followed the guide on the cyanogenmod wiki for installing clockwork recovery, and everything went fine, until I booted up. I got an "encryption failed" error, and it wanted me to wipe and reboot. I instead shut down and googled the issue, finding that for some users, removing the sd card while booting up fixed it, and it works perfectly. The sd works fine after the device is booted, but I have to remove it when booting up. Any ideas?

[Q] Eight Failed Boots not working

I rooted my nook yesterday using the autonooter 3.0 which i guess is not official, but anyways, I'm just not happy with it and I would like to get my Nook back to stock. However, when I try to do 8 failed boots, it won't cancel the boot when I press the power button. I mean I am jamming it down and it still goes through the boot.
Unfortunately, I also have not figured out how to get adb working. I followed the instructions on nookDevs and adb devices kept showing my SN as 11223344556677. Mind you it was showing up fine in device manager as Android composite ADB device. I figured heck with it I'll just root it. Now its not showing up at all.
So it seems like I'm hosed as far as resetting my nook. Any way out of this?
install clockwork recovery and use that to flash the stock rom.
ok well I installed ROM manager and then flashed CWR to my SD card. I then made a backup of my current rom in case I somehow decided to go back to it. But after selecting reboot system now in CWR it keeps booting into CWR. How do i get out of it?
Is the SD card flashed to CWR still in there? Is like a pc set to boot from the cd drive before hdd, no matter what, if theres a sd card in it, it will try to boot from it first..
You can remove the sd card when in CWR just remove it and then select reboot

Yeah, I took it out. But for some reason it didnt recognize it wasnt in there. so it was pretty much boot cycling just it was going into CWR. I just flashed the stock 1.0.1 ROM so it's working now, just have to reregister the nook.

CM7 on SD card not loading

I installed the latest update on my SD card. When I insert in into my Nook Color it just goes into Clockwork Recovery. How do I get it to load CM7? When I try to apply the update I get Update aborted.
i am having lots of trouble trying to setup cm7 boot from a 16gb microsd card. it keeps
hanging without finishing the install and when forced reboot it install android but once final reboot, it just keeps getting stuck at either the ANDROID_ SCREEN or the cynogen logo screen. i had a look at the forum pages and some others are also having the same problems with16gb but i can't see any solutions, tho i think there are a few people that have done it. any help would be appreciated. thanks

[Q] Wierd internal SD problem

Hey,
Been trying to reset the tab to factory defaults the tab does his mojo untill it reboots into android 2.3.6 and then everything is still on the internal SD card.
Then i went to hook it up on the pc tried manually deleting everything on the internal SD pc say's its done i look in the tab and its all still there.
Tried copy'ing files over to the SD card but does not wanne stay on it.
Ok now then i went on booting odin up and rooted it + cwm recovery on it it does it like a charm and works can boot into the recovery.
Now since i cant hold any roms on the internal sd card i went on using an external sd card put on cm 10.2 and gapps,
Installed the rom then reboots into a newer version of cwm and it tells me its not rooted.
ok fine i restarted the tab and went back into recovery then it was rooted.
Went on to install the cm 10.2 and gapps now its hanging at the cm logo on boot
So i went on to flash dbdata.rfs.tar wich normally gets me passed a bootloop.
This time however it dident work.
Anybody has any ideas i can still try to get it to work ?
I think its more of a lock on the internal SD card since it can't hold any files nor delete's anything but im not sure hopefully some1 with some more experience then me can help me further on this problem
Thx
Not locked. The internal SD chip is failing.
You will see many post that has symptoms such as: previous owner info cannot be removed. New data cannot be saved. Wiping failed.
My mind was vaguely thinking that but still hoping it wasent

[Q] Moto G (2014) RECOVERY BootLoop

Hi ! So a few weeks after succesfully unlocking/rooting/ROMing my phone, yesterday morning at exactly 830am, everything stalled. I had to force shutdown the device, and when I did, it encountered a bootloop. I could get into recovery mode, but TWRP would freeze on logo, and CWM would freeze on formatting /data. I had later realised that this was because neither of the recovery options could mount /Data or my SD card. I removed my SD card to check it's status on my computer, but now my computer can't detect it. Fast forward I put the SD card back into my phone and reboot, and now somehow I can't even get into recovery. TWRP keeps flashing the logo, and CWM brings me to an android logo that keeps reflashing as well. I'm not sure what type of situation I got myself into or how to get out of this, but if simple instructions are possible to be provided I doubt i'd have difficulties fixing the problem.

[HELP] Rooted Note 3, SD Card problem, bootloop

I rooted my Note 3, and was fiddling with some stuff (xposed, viper, selinux mode changer, if that means anything selinux didn't work, but I got viper working). I turned it off, took out the battery, SD card and simcard to let it cool off a bit. When I put everything back in, I realized I didn't unmount the SD card. Now my phone doesn't recognize any SD cards at all. Checked with 2 others (all sandisk 64 gb) on my mac and my mac could read them all. Phone didn't even start back up. Just got to the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 sign and bootlooped. Couldn't even get into recovery mode. I then took out the battery and sd card, put in only battery. Phone starts up like a charm. Put in the SD card, try to mount it, doesn't recognize. Phone immediately turns off and goes into bootloop again. Oh, btw, 'Mount SD Card' is greyed out this whole time, regardless of whether SD card is in or not.
Today, I flashed NC2 via odin, still the same problem. Updated via ota to OC1, same problem. oc2, same problem. wiped everything, cache, in between each update. Now I am considering using Flashfire to wipe everything it can and then flash a OC1 ROM. Not sure what is going wrong. How can I wipe everything and install from scratch other than what I've already done?
Do you guys have any idea how to solve this? What should I do? I am still a noob in rooting (other than odin, flashfire), recoveries and don't really know how they work (ie, twrp or cwm). Thanks in advance for your help.
bump
