But the base ROM and Res folder is different
I didn't want to go in details but you can't just flash it away
You would have to do intensive PNG copying from that theme to jelly blast apk
And that too won't guarantee anything

These are the icons/images used in ICS. You would use them to build a theme. They are just collections of .png files. Not flashable, not a mod.....just files for themers to use.
Awesome! Cant wait to see some cool ics themes.
But I could edit the framework res apk of the ics theme already and put them on it? I flashed the theme over already, just want the icons to match
Like the one from lewa os to our cm7?
If anyone find a tut pls post here...i have loads of free time (holidays)
Open both apk file using winrar, drag and drop all .png file from lewa's to cm's.
Sv: [Q] How to port systemui.apk ??
That won't be all, code will need to be rewritten and you can't just drag and drop that...
Cheers
Yes as RomWiz said you need to rewrite systemui & maybe framework.
The are many guides out there in the forum, just search for it

not push that file to your rom.
you must edit your rom SystemUi.apk and port any of that theme png or 9.png to your file.
must be resize png and patch 9.png with androidSDK.
Resizing shouldn't be neccesary, galaxy ace have mdpi resolution, so just move all png from res/drawable-mdpi to ldpi in your rom. I know it will work, done it before.
*edit*
That rom you wanna port theme from is based on cm7, right? I only messed around with cm based roms, so im not sure if it will work on stock-ish roms

Yes I will but it has come to my attention this premature cm10 jellybean with theme chooser is having issues theming some things with hdpi but those same things can be themed just fine in xhdpi, I have contacted the dev of the rom and hopefully he will support us with an update soon

Wow, this is way different than CM9 :|! I think I won't develop my Deus Ex theme, because JB requires more minimalism :/

This is not a theme, it's a template that you build themes off. What you do is download the code from the first post, change the images you want, compile the code using apktool, sign and install it on your atrix like you would any other app. Then open up settings>>themes and apply your newly built theme.
I have more detailed instructions on building themes in my signature although they are for CM9. However, same directions work for CM10, it's just different code. Check the link to my cm9 template for some instructions (you have to use ebs512's code).
how do i compile, i tried with apktool but it is not working

Did you update your apktool to jelly bean and SDK tools to jelly bean? Are you on windows xp? Also, did you install the jelly bean framework-res.apk?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
Just an FYI, you don't need to include the build directory. That folder and its contents are created when you recompile the apk with apktool but is otherwise not necessary. It would reduce your template zip file by about 50%.
Hey! Any chance you could update this with the nodpi folder, so we can add holo backgrounds. So glad some one has done this, thanks so much!

I was wondering if anyone can make a flasheable fix to get the ICS animations back on my Nexus with Jelly Bean, I hate the new ones they are so laggy and iPhone style... Thanks!!!
With nova launcher prime you can!

Thanks! But I like the default launcher, its just the animations what bothers me... so if there is any chance of getting a flasheable fix it would be great...
Try nova, the design is the same of default launcher!

OR, if you want, you can try Holo Launcher/Holo Launcher Plus
A nice and simple ICS/JB launcher replacement alternative to Nova/Apex that works on 2.2+, up to JB
Try this one and report back...
just flash in recovery

More information, is not that randomly, being more especific it's when i open some apps... and now without doing anything the jelly bean animations are back...
Still waiting for a solution thanks!!!!

Stock ROM you say... its prolly not deodexed. Most if not all mods will rarely work on an odexed ROM.

Try uploading a stock ics framework and i'll make you one again.. The files included in my zip is from a custom deodexed rom...

Ok.. Now i'm on a Jelly Belly 0.1.5.1 ROM, i'ts much better that the stock one, but as i was saying i really miss the old animations, taking into account that i have a deodexed ROM could you make a flasheable Zip with the animations that are on the Framework-res.apk i have attached below???
That Framework belongs to Passion v13.1 (ICS) Rom for Samsung Vibrant, that was my previous phone and it has the animations i like
One weird thing that i noticed is that the JB Framework has several "anim" folders, like anim, anim-land, anim-port, animator and anim720p, while the ICS has only two, anim and animator... anyway i'm just a newbie and there is a thousands of things that i don't understand, that's why ask you guys.
Thank you so much for your time, i'm so glad to get your answers....

More precisely when submenus or options menús pop up. And the animations aren't the same as the framework that i have attached...
I really don't want to bother you, so if you can do it that would be great and it you don't it's ok anyway, thanks thanks thanks..
How can I replace the Jelly Belly's for the ICS's.... I have tried sveral times and just replacing it didn't work, it reboots when you open a dialog or some submenues.... Please!!!!! Thanksssss
