Your welcome! I made a port for my tablet and loved it so decided to make one for my phone! Lol the sdcard is not mounting/ showing up, shouldn't be too difficult to fix as cm10.1 looks like it has it fixed, same with the long press recents, should be easy fixes

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium

Will the fixes be available as ota/nighties?
Can this be installed over PA 2.54 as I think I read above or can you wipe everything with a fresh install?

look interesting, going to give a try to see how it roll

Where are my backups? How can I restore if I want to?

Yes I will post new zips as I fix things, you can try to just flash over 2.54 but I would recommend a full wipe

Are you using a 4.2 compatible recovery? I referenced this in the OP as it is extremely important to use a 4.2 recovery and I recommend twrp but you can check out the cwm files posted here if you prefer.

your backups should be there to restore as usual...
On a lighter note, External SD temporary workaround: remove and reinsert microsd and then run this :
su
Mount -rw -t fat32 mmcblk1p1 /storage/sdcard1
In either an adb shell or terminal emulator. For some reason card is inaccessible after boot until it is reinserted, then once mounted it works perfectly. Will add to OP

It doesn't matter I have gone on to cm10.1 till this rom becomes a little more stable. One thing I did notice with my short time using the rom was that the signal strength was very deceptive I could barely do anything where normally I could make calls etc. Tried changing ril but to no avail. Is this something that needs fixed?

wow. the rom will be good :good:

Yessssss Man, yesssssssss!!! Thats the thing, you rooooooooooock! D

This is a complation of others work to make a working rom for the vibrant.
I've used the MIUIANDROID I9000 & CM9 as a base ported it to the VIBRANT.
I hope you like it? It's by no means perfect, but it's a work in progress.
And thanks to Tory Heal for the graphics
And new bootanimation by imilleson.
Installation Instructions :
Reboot into Recovery
Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache partition/dalvik cashed
-Go into Mounts & Storage and Format /system (does not erase any sd data))
-Install the ROM
-reboot(first boot takes a bit)
-let sit 5 to 10 min
-reboot
-set up as you like
-reboot and use normal
The ROM comes with the Subzero 159cm color Kernel, but feel free to flash a different ICS one if you want.
But be aware I have used the latest cm9 nightly as a base so if you get "unknown baseband" you will need the ril revert.
GingerBread bootloaders recommend find ---> here
please READ the op for instructions it is not hard but is VITAL you do it per instructions.
Also base update to CM9's nightly 7/30
Issues that I know of..
-GPS needs work and may not work at all, (it works for me but it can be slow) ( feedback is fine but complaining will be ignored )
-Themes only work partly and will only be fixed by MIUI not me
themes now work better but need to use ones for miui ics not GB
Other stuff to watch out for...
Titanium Backup users should tick the Preferences > Troubleshooting settings > Follow all symbolic links option
Download Link
go thank Andy Thomas at miuiandroid without his work this rom would not be available.

*Needs SuperSU, it has the regular SU right now.
*Flashes green-screen sometimes before locking/unlocking
*Theres 2 GALLERY apps and you can't just remove one from the screen because their both system apps...
*Theres like 6 map's related apps.. PLACES, NAVIGATION, MAPS, etc etc. Keep down the bloat and only keep the map app and the others can be optional?
Does anyone know how to change the MIUI clocks so their 12-hour clocks and not 24?

The hybrid settings are coming with the v1 releases.. Sometime in the next week.
To add navbar,, add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0"
To build.prop
Hey guys
Not new to flashing, etc.
Downloaded the jltespr from the website 2 different times, and tried to flash it
from my ext sd card.
TWRP 2.5.02 and cleared factor reset/cache/davlik.
Getting fails both times.
Saying "error executing updater binary in zip...)
also "assert failed:getprop (ra.product.device")
I guess Ill throw it on the internal and see if it flashes from there.
Any quick advice ?
Thanks

i googled that error, and what i found was that you were probably using TWRP. Try CWM.
if you are on CWM, try TWRP
Thanks ved. I did google it but only saw stuff about binary script replacement.
Way above my knowledge and pay grade.
Ill try upgrading twrp first to see if that solves it.
ROM looks nice and I wanna try it.
Thanks again.

We don't have an external SD slot.
Just use this:
"I accidentally wiped everything including the internal SD!"
Code:
adb sideload
Also, don't know if you manage the site, but if you give me a quick list of additional non-CM features, I can make it look neat for the Features page.

Hi @vedantgp,
I have run this great CyanFox Rom for the last 12 hours, it run good overall (except for rotation as mentioned). Very smooth.
Thanks.
I've installed this ROM and it's good but it gets laggy at times and just the rotation, since I love watching video using my phone, it's not favorable. Hehe, well. I'm willing to wait for the fix and will try to get back on it! Thanks for great ROM!

You need to update your recovery in order flash KitKat ROMs. The latest CWM (6.0.4.3) or Philz are the only two that will do it . I recommend Philz.

I have install this one, and it's a great rom.
Actually i think is the best one i have tryed till now.
I have v.2.0.2.
Single problem is the rotate function which works and not
But i have seen that is up a Experimental one launched in 16.01.2014!
Did anyone tryed it? What does bring new?
This is working great for me, the audio is no problem at all. I listen to hell lot of songs. Battery life is great. Yes, occasional lag is expected.
