Hello.
I was wondering if the physical home button on the TouchPad is working with Android CM9? Is there anyway to make it work?

I didn't install any ROM yet, I was making sure so I decide if I will install it or not because people in videos only used the on-screen button not the physical one. As I understood from you, it does work, many thanks for your answer

Its Cyanogenmod 10. CM is just an acronym.
I don't know whether some sense roms have that, I hate sense and that's why I don't use it.

The same way you install every custom rom. There are millions of guides out there, search it up.

I'm starting to feel like you
I'm sorry if this has already been brought up somewhere else, but I have to ask.
Is there a safe way for me to install CM on SafeStrap right now? If not, is this something that I will see in the near future? If yes, explain.
No there is no way at all to install cm yet on the note 3.
It will most likely take an unlocked boot loader to do it.
For now the best you can get are various touch wiz based Samsung roms

Hi,
Check out the video link below! CyanogenMod's ScreenCast screen recorder allows you to easily record your screen, sounds from your phone, and your microphone all at the same time.

hope it will work, regards

Hi, my i9000 has broken homebutton, how can I enable soft keys (navbar) to replace touch keys and phisical home button?
I want to stay with original cm11 rom if possible, is there a method without flashing unofficial cm11 roms?
Many thanks in advance

already done it, there's no specific thread for i9000 and the solutions with edit system files found for i9300 doesn't apply there, can you point me to an i9000-compatible guide?
This section is for posting things you developed. Not for help.

Add
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
to the end of build.prop - that should sort it out for you. If you have real problems doing that then I can let you have a zip to flash through recovery that does it for you. You can find this info in XDA but you do need to take some time to search.

Thanks, it worked well. Is this permanent or do I have to repeat the process at every Milestone update?
You'll have to repeat it after flashing a new nightly or milestone.
Hi all, this just a simple button remap for the back and recents keys. Let me know if you have any ideas for more remaps
For non-Treble:
Switch the back and recents keys: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634760043
Reset to the stock layout: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195916549
For treble:
Switch the back and recents keys: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536984557
Reset to the stock layout: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536984558
Flash it in twrp, if you have treble you need to use the latest treble twrp from codeworkx https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/development/recovery-twrp-3-x-p-codeworkx-t3844528
Enjoy
Hmm with Stock EUI you can switch back and recent and even assign actions on long press. ☺

Does this change the icons as well? As is the back icon on left or is it just now the back icon is the square and recent is the triangle?

It does not change the icons, for that you'd have to change the hardware. I personally turn off the button backlight in the ROM settings so it doesn't bother me that it's the wrong icon

I flash it and works but I wanna go Back. Any way to do that without reflash my ROM?
I would like to configure Long Press and Double Press actions in my OmniRom
I finally had time to make a reset to stock zip so you don't have to reflash the ROM to go back

Can you make this work on Le 2/Le S3 (and max 2)? Didn't work on S3 for me. The buttons are killing me as my tablet uses the opposite layout.
