GSam Battery Monitor helps you see what apps are using your battery and how.
* Status bar notification for battery state and time left estimates
* Overlay the stock battery icon with the icon pack add-on.
* Detailed display of what is using your battery
* Lists showing app usage allowing sorting by things such as CPU usage, Sensor usage, Wake Locks, Wake Time, etc.
* Set a custom time reference to see stats over a certain period of time.
* See time remaining estimates based on current and historical usage
* Add a widget to your home screen showing the battery status and time remaining
* Download or create your own icon themes
* Set audible alarms to know when your battery has finished charging
* Share and compare your average battery life with others
Use Pimp My Rom and apply battery tweaks.
Turn off "Automatically update my location" from the Maps' location settings. If you don't use Google now that is.
Disable FastDormancy
Use Phone Info app to disable LTE if you don't need it

Best solution without tinkering would be to get a powerskin.
You would get 3370 mah in total!

Switch to the msm-dcvs governor and underclock to 1.3GHz. Rests at 384GHz on a still screen and only kicks on the second core / raises frequencies when switching apps. Other than that, it'll kick up the frequencies of 1 core while moving the screen around. My phone runs as a single core device about 90% of the time so my battery life is beyond phenomenal. No hindrance in performance as well. msm-dcvs seems to be more battery / performance efficient than ondemand.

There are different settings, Ondemand, Performance, etc. What should it be set to to get best performance and does the Set to Boot box be check marked off?
You mean XOOM overclock, right?
interactive is more responsive and use a Tad more resources than ondemand. For the XOOM being dual core interactive is fine. On demand requires a signal to increase speed whereas interactive just does it. I wouldn't set at boot until you know your settings are perfect. Set at boot sets the speed at boot rather than having to go in and raise or adjust speeds.
1.5 ghz and interactive work wonders for me.
Lol I'm probably the only one but I love performance/start on boot. My batt still lasts days and I never have to worry about touching a thing.

800Mhz with ondemand governor, UVed to ~-100mV seemed perfect balance for me; long battery life and fine performance.
I must remind that there are other (and better) ways to improve battery life; ie. calibrating with battery status; turning off unnecessary services and connections (3g, gps and most importantly wifi) etc.
Regards
Kongar
ps: below 800Mhz the tab becomes a little unresponsive for my tastes; also; I've weird "feeling" that 600Mhz is not meant to be used as a constnt freq. for that.
ps2: there are some UV issues for that release's kernel; go for Koxudaxi 0.13 or Dip's for the time being.

From what I've experienced the circles widget is actually inactive while the phone is asleep. Underclock your phone to 800MHz and turn your screen off for a bit. You'll notice the circles take a second to refresh instead of already displaying the correct time and whatnot. If it kept the device awake then the circles wouldn't need time to refresh since it would've woken the device up to refresh while the screen is off. Also, you can download an app like better battery stats to track deep sleep and wakelocks. Mine is on jellybean with very few extra apps and my phone always goes into deep sleep while the screen is off.

I have changed my firmware from 10F to 10H as I heard that it is much better. I rooted it and then reset it to factory settings and I deleted some of the bloatware. I used LG gearbox and set the CPU speed to 1000mhz on two cores and used this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2048315
In additions, I installed fast dormancy toggle from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2021248
Yesterday, I used the phone with light usage such as browsing for a few minutes that's all, but still the android system was on top, I hardly used it why is this?
On the CPU it shows that it was running on 51mhz for more of the time than deep sleep, that must be the reason why the battery had been draining.
android system is more than one app, is the system it self...
Its logic why is on the top
yeh but even wen my phone was not in use how come it was hardly on deep sleep? compared to the galaxy s3 this battery is much worse as on s3 the android system is below the screen and screen is on top for usage. on the s3 when the phone isnt in use it is mostly on deep sleep.

Disregard this, the guy is wrong. Your phone should be in deep sleep most of the time.
Could you please obtain "BetterBattery Stats" or a similar program to post screenshots of your kernel and partial wakelocks? This would help us figuring out what is wrong. My friend has the same phone, and Android system is on top for him too most of the time. We are still trying to find out what is going on.

He's right... Sorry, my mistake
When in deep sleep :
In first place should be "Cell standby" and after "Phone idle".
It's what I have in mine...
After 9 hours my battery drain was 1% in deep sleep.

Check the CPU Governor ,, for dual core we set it "hotplug" but about quad core I do not know .
But mainly the problem with governor ,, governor means something like profile . It controls the CPU frequency to get performance or powersave or both of them .
To change governor install any CPU app and you will find it .
Search about governor with quad core in google . Sorry my phone is dual core (Optimus 3D) .

The Governor has no influence on any app or system process holding a wakelock. The governor merely controls the way the CPU frequency is scaled depending on load conditions.

Yeah . I know
The governor controls the deepsleep which makes system off
So by the governor can enter deepsleep then the system will off .

did you make sure your apps running don't keep your phone awake? and that the phone does go into deep sleep?
a bit off topic but my problem is that the battery has been stuck at 24% for the last 12 hrs, I've not been using the phone because the earpiece speaker is broken so waiting to get it repaired. I've tried rebooting the phone and still at 24%, I'm going to play a video until it drains the battery and do a full charge. battery info shows the phone has been on for 2 days 11hrs since last charge on standby most of the time.

i charged the phone yesterday night now the battery is still on 100% with no use all day. if i open wifi or start for example an app the battery goes down like a countdown.whats the problem then?

Holy Crap! are those stats real life?
Is that just with stock Cm provided in the OP? Are you using the ART run time or Dalvik? Are you using the stock battery?
Sorry for bombarding you with questions but that is about double the battery life i'm getting with the stock Rom right now. I was not planning on flashing any new roms on this because this phone has the first stock Rom that I actually like, but if battery life like this is normal on CM then I might have to consider making the switch.
I am using dalvik runtime using stock battery and have under clocked my processor to 1026 MHz governor interactive and using grenify to hibernate apps like facebook and using profile in setcpu 384 MHz when phone is in sleep

thanks, i purchased greenify already and have it working to hybernate system apps. i set the governor in setcpu to ondemand and downclocked the processor to 1242Mhz, also set a profile for whenever the screen is off to switch to powersave and downclocked the frequency to 486. i will test it and see how battery life fares.
i have experienced an issue using root uninstaller, whenever i uninstall an app it keeps processing and i have to restart root uninstaller to finally see the app being uninstalled.
Also poweramp freezes from time to time, only when i skip a song.
i have a question though, does setcpu conflict with the performance values given under settings, which one has higher priority? i am currently running nightly released today, 12/18/13. thanks

You have an inrom option to manage the frequency and the governor of the CPU so better change it from there and delete setCPU.For music i use WinampPro and didn't encounter any problems while listen to musc.If you want to uninstall an app/stock or not/ try with TitaniumBackup. Cheers :highfive:
