how can i install the aosp mms apk on a custom rom? for example when i try to unzip mms.apk from cm7 and just try to install it from within the device, it just says "program was not installed".
so how can i install it properly? i really dont like the stock samsung sms apk

first you will need to deodex them then you will need to take their individual data from out of twframework-res.apk then you will need to combine the taken out data and the apk and they will work

i dont know what is deodex ??/ is there any simple method????? or any link of tutorial of this,,, it would be great help?

go to this thread and read about deodex in the terminology section
there are many windows software which will help you in deodexing apk just Google for them
Guys, I've a wonderful gallery app for from my old phone.. But as my old phone was in stock, the gallery is odexed.

If didn't make a backup of system. Reflash system or pull the file from system image. Might be a while before can find someone to pull you a file after flashing IOS to a Nexus device. That is blasphemy.
