Where to get official Kernel source code? - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking to build the kernel from source for the hd+ but I can't find the actual official b&n source code. I see Fattire posted some source but not for the actual kernel.
Does anybody know where I can download official b&n kernel source code for the HD+ please?
Thanks for your help

If you look through verygreen's CM10 thread, I think he posted the source location somewhere in his thread.

Hi and thanks.
I went through the thread and all I can find is 2.0.0 not a recent one. I just want to build from source so I needed original kernel source and sgx source as per verygreens build instructions.
Anybody got an actual link to the source please?

[Kernel] Adam Kernel Development

I have the stock kernel source here: https://github.com/rothnic/Adam_Kernel
Pershoot's Gtab source with Adam additions is here: https://github.com/rothnic/gtab-2632
Once pershoot's source is confirmed working (currently it is compiling), we will be able to merge the adam changes into his main repo
So what new modifications do you think can be done now that we have this code? is this going to be more of a bonus for other tabs rather than the Adam?

This is only really a bonus for the Adam. If we have the Adam specific code merged into pershoot's kernel, then as he works on it, we can continue to get his updates. Which means we don't have to manage two separate projects since the gtablet kernel is so close to the adam kernel.
Sweet, Should keep the Adam alive as long as the ROM does
the ROM is Over layer on kernel.....
so there is one kernel and many ROMs working with this same kernel....
kernel is important for tweaking bug fixing and so on.....
cheers
Thats awesome!! That means we will have overclocking, right?
also it will be easier to port ROMs from the G TAB (including CM)...
Keep up the good work!

So awesome =]
Is Pershoot's kernel just for gingerbread or is he still working on a froyo version? Thanks
How hard would you suggest it would be to upgrade to a 2.6.38 kernel now that we have these "combined efforts"? It's just a matter of upgrading a Gingerbread kernel, right?
After the compiling is done, can I use it for my BEAST ROM ?

Which cross compiler are you using for this? Will CodeSourcery G++ Lite work? Also, is there a repo for the initramfs yet?

Ok, lately we have seen a lot of roms being posted that do not have kernel source links.
Be advised that XDA requires that you post kernel source when using non-stock kernels.
Stock Kernels
If your kernel is stock and not modified in any way, then you may post the link to the manufactures source (if available). If not, then state the kernel is stock.
If you have re-compiled the stock kernel, then you must have a link to your Git Hub with changes listed.
All others, including CM, AOKP, PA, etc
Link to your Git Hub, or which ever Git Hub or source you used. Along with changes. DO NOT just post a link to CM's site. Be specific which source you used.
All links to source must be links to a compilable kernel that works and matches what you have included in your rom. If you have "Cherry Picked" from other sources, please ensure you have their permission to do so, and, give credits when necessary.
Generally XDA will allow you 5 days maximum to post your kernel source. Please do not abuse this.
Failure to post kernel source will result in the ROM thread either "disapproved" or "Thread Closure" with all download links removed.
Most of you know the rules and GPL, so please abide by them.
Thank You for reading.

[Q] building novafusion.pl cm11/kernel

Hi,
I would like to build kernel based on novafusion github sources. I want to look at some btle and NFC stuff, so i wondered if anyone is building from there? And if so how do i get all sources cloned? I figured most things i would look at is kernel, so building that would be a perfect start. But eventually i would like to do complete builds.. So a full guide to getting the correct sources would be great
I am a newbie to building Android, have done it for my defy+ though.

Yeah, I am trying to get source from novafusion's github, but I have trouble figuring out how the Novafusion repo's are tied together and once kernel builds I will need to figure out the same for CM11 I think. I would have expected to get a manifest from one of their repo's but that does not seem to exist? (As noted I am a newbie to android and the repo tool, but I am no stranger to coding)
So I wondered if anyone have cloned and built the sources.. If so I would be gratefull for a guide to how I get a local build up and running.
P.s. I have not yet had time to try and put together a manifest myself - Or ask one of the novafusion guys to share theirs, but I thought there might be a general interest in this.. And I figured that there must be someone having it up and running.

Thinking of compiling Slim LP T3

I have never compiled before but would like to bring slim to the T3 and maybe T with the latest DOK2
Device: SM-N910T3
Source: http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=sub&sub=F&searchValue=SM-N910T3 - DOK2 downloaded
Slimrom: https://github.com/SlimRoms/platform_manifest
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Note: I poked around here a bit to look at other sources and such, just not sure where to go from here.
thanks to @ZION959 for the source links :good:

Also saw this but no source to peak at and see
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...t/1-tweet-rating-5-rom-aosp-official-t2986133
seems so far nobody but me is interested in this...
The source is on github.
