Jolla sail fish os question - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Since the 890 has a x86 set up can the sailfish be installed
Sent from my XT890 using xda app-developers app

No. But the SDK is available and the OS is open source so any developer could take it and make it run on our Razr i. I would be very interested to test it on our Razr i.

Anyone out there wanna do duel boot... iam willing to test anything

Google Now

Did some one installed?
I'm interested, too.
Now is a superb feature.
Isn't it 4.2 only?
4.1+

If you do a search there are some that have installed Now onto ICS phones. I think you pretty much need to be rooted and not read of anyone installing it on a Razr i yet. Hopefully we won't have to wait to long to get it as part of Jellybean.

I would try to install it but seems that is only for ARMv6 or ARMv7.

The intel chip has an arm translator, so it's able to execute most of the arm only apps.
It's worth trying ^^
So I will try do it, I will let you know if is working tomorrow.
cheers

[Q] Ubuntu Touch...?

Considering we now have working cm10, is it a possibility, or even a current project to bring Ubuntu touch here? I know this has been asked before, but I don't think we had unlocked boot loader then. Thanks in advance.

If we had this with LapDock... I'd give my firstborn...
I'm just fascinated with Ubuntu touch and want to see if it is worth my time. Ubuntu desktop despises my computer and refuses to work properly.

I've actually got a good question to go with this. Would our current cm kernel work with Ubuntu?

Uhm as much as I know is that we don't have acces to the ST-Ericsson sources.
If we don't have sources, we can't use it
Sent from my GT-I9070 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Possible, but it will be very hard because we don't have sources so the devs will have to build from scratch. As their hands are now full with fixing cm10/10.1, they are not likely to have any free time to build this. Well at least until cm is done.
Thanx 4 reply. .is there any way to get sources from ST-Ericson.?.
Sorry for bad english .
