Hey Hey,
i´ve got a big problem.
First i unlocked my xperia T.
2nd i flashed this Kernel SiyahKernel-XT Alpha 0.2 to get root acces. -> everything is working fine.
After that i would like to install a custom rom. So i flashed "ClockworkMod 6.0.1.2 for Xperia T" over fastboot and get a bootloop into recovery.
I try to shut down the phone with 10 sec vol + and power.
After shut down i press vol+ and plug usb cable to get in fastboot -> blue led turns on for 10 sec. and then it turns off and the phone charge.
I can´t get in fastboot!!
Can someone help me please..

If you flashed that kernel it already has recovery implemented.
I suggest you flash a stock ftf for your phone from the all in one thread (First thread in the Q&A section) then start again. No need to unlock again, just flash the kernel and then enter recovery and flash your choice of rom
EDIT
If you flash recovery over fastboot then you all you will ever do is enter recovery because you have flashed it to boot. If you flash something in fastboot then thats how your device will boot.

Thank you for your fast reply!!!
The only thing why i want to get in fastboot is to flash Version 3 of this kernel "Advanced Stock Kernel V5 with Cwm. Init.d support and root package" but i don´t find it as an zip file.

kernel's have to be flashed in fastboot. (Why would you flash siyah kernel just to flash this kernel?)
Once you have unlocked the bootloader just flash the kernel of your choice. IMHO siyah kernel is the best for xperia T currently (Including my kernel).
So as i said, flash a stock ftf for your phone, then just flash the kernel of your choice.

Hi,
as the tilte sys, I don't have a recovery anymore after flashing tilal's 10.2 build. Do I have to flash a new boot.img with fastboot as in stock?
That's odd. You can extract the boot.img from the zip and flash the image with fastboot:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
If this not works you also can flash an older cm10.2 version: http://goo.im/devs/tilal6991/roms/mint/cm-10.2/
After doing this you should flash the last 10.2 again. I never have lost CWM.
Edit: Sorry, youst reading this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44230652&postcount=9
Maybe you have to flash an boot.img from the last 10.1 nightlies.
Another idea was to install this recovery (tilal advised this): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115726
Download GooManager from PlayStore and load/install TWRP. But be sure that there is no backup you want to recover with CWM. I havn't found a way to recover older backups done with CWM.
I flashed a twrp image and the tilal build again from there. After reboot the recovera is away again. Later I will try to flash the boot.img from inside the rom.
So I flashed boot.img from inside the rom with fastboot but I still don't have a recovery. Does the keys to hold at start have changed?
Ok, I read in the roms thread that recovery is broken. Recovery should be installed in a fota partition. Do I have to simply flash the twrp fota image or do I have to do some other steps before flashing this.
Sorry for this noob questions but I rather ask before I will brick my device.
The last link in my answer above gives you all needed informations..

I think that your issue comes from the fact that the ROM comes with advanced recovery options disabled. HW buttons don't work to go into recovery with this build for some reason. Having said that, you can boot into recovery from within the ROM.
Go to Settings > Developer Options and in there you will have an option called "Advanced Reboot". When you check that and you try to reboot your device (hold power button until menu pops up), hit "Reboot" and you will be prompted with a few options, one of which is "Recovery".
I hope this helps.

Hi guys, my friend just bricked his LG Optimus black, by trying to reach recovery mode through Rom manager...
When booting, the security error screen flashes and it turns back off.
I've tried to reach recovery/download mode, by trying several button combinations found on the internet, but none of them seems to work, I get the same security error screen (even when the phone is connected to PC).
Can you guys please help, I have zero experience with this phone
Your friend's phone shows security error because he flashed recovery while he was running a v30x stock rom.
With the update to official ICS, the bootloader changed and if you want to keep stock ICS with recovery you need to flash an unlocked bootloader following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160394.
You could also try using SmartFlash Tool to flash this ROM that already includes a recovery, but, if you flash it, you'll have a gingerbread ROM with an old bootloader and a recovery that can be used to flash CyanogenMod based ROMs.

Thanks, I finally managed to access Download mode and flash stock firmware, and I also flashed the unlocked bootloader, using the exe file...
But I still have a problem...
I still can't access CWM. When pressing the combination in the post you linked, it just shows me a screen, writing recovery mode, and it does nothing.
Didn't the exe file install CWM?
Is it safe to install it with Smart Flash Tool now?
Can you boot to stock ROM? If yes, is his phone rooted?

I can boot to stock ROM, and yeah I rooted it with Unlock Root after installing the unlocked bootloader.
Download terminal emulator from play store, download recovery.img from here and place it in the root of his sdcard.
Open terminal emulator, type su, press enter, type dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 and you should have finished! :highfive:
hey guys i really need your help after i flashed [ROM][Z1][5.1.1][LB/UB][.216]|Z5 Features|MX ROM|V7.8.0|Battery☆ life|☆[10/11/2015]☆ i cant seem to enter recovery anymore besides that after i flashed this rom everything inside wasnt working as expected to be would love to get some help from you kind souls :crying:
Did you try rto enter in recovery via NDR Utils?
Restart phone and when you phone shows Sony logo pres few times volume up or volu down key and you shuold go in to recovery.
You could use fasboot to boot a random kernel that includes recovery, and then from that recovery you can do the things you need to do.
Code:
fastboot boot kernel.img
This will boot the kernel, but not overwrite the one currently installed. So just reboot after you're done.

Yes,I forget that. You should use Androplus kernel with goes with TWRP recovery. You dont need this fastboot script.Connect phone in fastboot mode and go to option in fasboot flash kernel and select file extension img than select boot.img file and that it is.

You have flashed a recovery image to your boot partition, so it always boots to recovery. You need to flash a boot image to the boot partition.
But why do you want recovery if you won't flash anything to your phone?
By flashing recovery, you are doing exactly that anyway.
You have an unlocked bootloader, so you may as well flash an advanced stock kernel. It is stock kernel with twrp built into the boot.img. Check android development section.
thank you
since i know that i can't boot recovery without flashing, i have no other option as to flash.
can't i flash it to FOTA partition?
i have 10.7.A.0.222 firmware and need root access but like to do it manually
You can't boot directly to FOTA on XZ. Need modified boot.img or flash twrp to boot (like you did before). Then while in TWRP, flash Supersu.zip to get root. Afterwards flash kernel only in flashtool to get stock boot back

Is your bootloader unlocked?
hey guys!
I've done something stupid with my ZR and not the vibra call just vibrates twice and the red LED is flashing when i wan't to turn on the phone.
But step by step: the phone has XZDualrecovery 2.8.26 with TWRP 2.8.7.0 and the "lastest official stockrom which is 5.1.1 and root.
I tried to update to TWRP 3.0 in the TWRP menu, but i've done something wrong i guess. there was only one option to choose, i cant remember exactly -perhaps it was something with boot partition?! And now it stucks at the red led right after pressing the power button.
is there any chance to bring it back to life again? is it possible to flash just the boot partion again? Which files should i include/exclude in flashtool?
flashtool can detect the phone in flashmode and also in fastboot mode!
flashed the ftf again, but excludes the wipe of user data and apps! -problem solved! :good:
a mod can delete this post.
Is that your phone bootloader unlocked? It will be easy if your phone UB so only by command shell you can flash the recovery img and flash rom from the recovery. What you have tried is wrong. You should install the recovery to recovery partition.Or if you want to flash stock rom from the flashtool do nothing and flash directly.
well, remember the first line to get job easily done.
