Macro video recording isn`t working on my Galaxy S i9000, is there anything I can to do to fix it?? It`s very cool feature and it would be awesome to have it

I`using CM10.1-20121228-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd, I also tried other roms like JB, and some stock 2.3.6. versions and nothing, still not working..

Did You Try Full Wipe ?
I Think You Should Install Stock ROM ( 3 Files ) and when you install 3 files ROM , You Can Test it.

You can record macro video by setting first to camera mode and focus your close-up image, then switch to video mode.
You now have a focused close-up image that you can record.

Thank you my friend for help, it`s working, but I watched a lot of videos on youtube of automatic normal to macro recording. So Is there any tweek, patch to fix it...I can not paste url on forum cuz I`m new member if you want search "DARKY ROM 10.2 FINAL EXTREME ** HD 720P VIDEO AND AUTOFOCUS TEST ** (galaxy s i9000)" on youtube to see what I talking about...

Did the photosphere work? It never worked on CVX? BeCause we do not have a gyro sensor!:banghead:

Yes it is working and we can view in photo sphere image gallery also...
Not sure How i can share image in normal image viewer it looks worst... Only with Photo sphere gallery i can view those image properly .
Please give a try .. no bugs ..in this as far i am using.

definitely we will not get great Photo sphere effect we don't have gyro sensor!... But this patch works ok...

Yes it is working ... Just now i flashed Lacoste ROM ... even Video Recording works fine till now..:good:
I flashed on unofficial and it slowed down my phone a loooooot. Restored nandroid immediately.

Still photosphere requires gyro censor for completed 100 % , You can't take 360 Degree photo... But 180 is possible ..

I tried to install the 4.4 camera and went back to stay with the problem I refer in this topic:

I tried several stock apps and some external. With the external works ok (but the apps are not good...), with the stock always the same problem.
I made a new flash of Google apps but kept the problem, had to flash the rom agian to solve theproblem....
Any idea what might be the problem of spots and low definition when i made videos in 720p (in 480p works fine)?
Found the Lenovo super camera and gallery latest version v4.12 and decided to share it here.
By the way can someone who knows chinese help by translating the developer options in the app?

Works like a charm. Video recording, front camera evrything works like a charm. I love the menu and the UI. Miles ahead than the Cyanogenmod Camera.
Awesome pic quality in the gallery app, will try out the camera later,but it seems ok from the few pic's I have taken so far,but it's to dark outside to make a proper test..

I tried it and I realized all the third party camera apps are useless with flash on.

Is it just me or does it fail to install either installing as normal APK or pushing to system. I'm on cm11s and have had to revert to using an older version of lenovo super camera.
I installed as a normal app..it is working great no flash issues..all is well

What rom do you use?
I am on Temasek v154 and after every reboot have to go into system>app>lenovo and reinstall it for it to work and wont install as regular app.
After testing the camera on mahdi/AK,i'm fairly impressed with it.only the option to change resolution size is missing and that is really annoying.but everything else is working perfectly, haven't tried 4k recording yet,but the option is there..
Change your language to English and SOME of the options in dev settings are readable

Where did you find 4K. There is only 2K and does not work. Im also using Mahdi rom with Mahdi kernel.

Look below where it says "normal".as I said I haven't tried it yet.

We can use our stock camera app in custom roms like LineageOS, AICP, DU.I only tested on DU but I think it should also work on other roms.
How to install it:
Flash it with TWRP and reboot to system.

For me Open camera is slower than stock taking photos. I don't know why. Why are you saying open is better? Thx!

I think it was the image quality.. did that long time back.

This is great, thanks. Where did it come from? Only issue is I can't film video in 1080p (60fps) as it says the mic is in use by another app? I can however film either 1080p or 4k (30fps) with no issue.

Same here but I don't shoot much video so it's ok. I get the same photo quality as in stock rom so I'm happy.

I reckon it is. Tried it on ViperOS and the quality is like stock.
Only thing is you can't use video on 1080p 60fps.

I'm on the latest LineageOS, with ElementalX kernel and I too believe it's at the same quality as the stock camera. Great app.
I am on AospExtended with ElementalX and the quality is not goot. on Stock its better.
