This was a mod of stock XXCLK7 ROM that enable Tablet UI in Jelly Bean.
I've made some changes in stock TabletUI graphics because of not optimal display in TAB2 7.
Here are list of features:
- ability to display quick button only in landscape mode (added option in settings to hide the button in portrait)
- adjusted miniapps icon in portrait mode
- modified Notification panel in landscape mode (no more off-screen and wider)
- moved settings from item of notification-panel menu's to title of navigation-panel (wast of space)
- smaller width of navigation-bar button's in portrait mode
- i don't remember

Could you please elaborate what and how did you that? I'd like to make this for P3100 XXCLL2 also
Cheers!
Good mod :good: By the way works with my vodafone firmware too.
Two questions:
1) How did you changed width of landscape notification bar? It is too wide for me I guess, that it is not in dex, what xml files did you edit?
2) Is there any way to disable moves of status bar icons? I mean, that miniapplications button in no more in center. It takes place of screenshot button, if it is - moves to position of the menu button.
Can you make mod with changes only in notification bar(but with stock width for landscape)? Thank you again
Strange it works for me!

1) I added in dimens.xml on values-sw720dp-port the item "notification_panel_width" for portrait, the landscape is readed from values-sw720dp. If you change this values you can build an personalized version. Finally i have changed TabletStatusBar.smali to force update size when the configuration change.
2) The miniapps button was placed by samsung statically in the center of the bar, so it can overlap on a icon (if there is an icon in the center). So i placed next to the last button. With the modified width of button the problem can be resolved bu i've not tried. You can try to reposition on center, simply change position and proprierties of Imageview id "traybar_handler" in "tw_system_bar.xml" such as in original SystemUI (At least you can add some margin to accomplish the best result)
Happy New Year!
I want to ask one more thing - how did you move settings button to title of notification panel? I'm trying to compare files of mod and original and can't find anything. And, as additional problems, systemui.apk from your firmware and from my vodafone are almost completely different. Maybe it gives some problems with displaying and crushing it in my firmware...

I simple hided the settings item (@id/settings) from tw_system_bar_notification_panel.xml and then added an ImageView with the same ID in tw_system_bar_notification_panel_title.xml.
If you want to look at original XXCLK7 SystemUI you can download from here.
Hi, I tried the deodex versions on my kwbr expresso rom.
TabletUI cant be flashed, cwm says bad zip. Downloaded both from main dl link & mirror. Both has zip error.
Was able to flash Restore phabletUI, messed up my Apex screen, lost the uper and lower margins. Crashed but came back. Reverting to the older version for kwbr rom. Thanks anyway.

It's a common problem you can fix it, see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35402926&postcount=32
I first flashed the latest Tablet UI from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032941
Got stuck at boot logo. Tried installing Phablet restore, still stuck. Then tried Tablet UI in this new mod thread, still stuck at Samsung boot logo. Running stock CLK7, no modifications other than root. Any ideas? I'd like to fix this without a full wipe if possible.

You can reflash clk7 stock firmware to restore it without full wipe, but what is the first mod that you have installed?
Will this work on P3113 XXCLK7 ?
Answer my own Q - it won't

I tried looking for a stock CLK7 firmware image, couldn't find one though. I've taken a nandroid of the broken state (kicking myself for not doing so before flashing mods) and gone to AOKP for now. Actually quite a nice rom, but no IR support is a bummer, since it's one reason I chose this over the Nexus 7. Wondering if this broke because I wasn't de-odexed first, but I thought this mod was specifically built to apply to the stock rom. I have a P3113, fyi.
The first mod I flashed, as I mentioned, was the most recent version of your tablet UI fix from the old thread here. That is, unless you count the method I used to root, which I got from here.
I'm wondering if I'd have to go back to the original ICS image, re-upgrade to CLK7 through Kies, and then restore just the data partition from the nandroid backup. Assuming that only files under the system partition were changed by this mod, I would think that would work, but I'm clearly no expert on this.
Sorry - New at This
Hello,
I apologize that I am new at this and this is probably a dumb question. I've never rooted or flashed any of my Android devices, but with the new interface they pushed to 7' tablets with Jelly Bean, they have forced me to learn. I hate it.
I really have tried to look, but haven't found what I am looking for so I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Is there a step by step guide on how to do this somewhere? I'm a computer tech, so I am sure with a basic guide I could figure it out. I just don't know enough about the process and I am afraid of messing my tablet up if I just wing it...
Thanks,
epgen, hello again Trying to make such mod for russian 4.1.2 firmware, already succsseded in odexing(script not worked too, odexed through manual commands in adb-shell in CWM) and modifying files, but I have one question: clock with upper part of notification panel in landscape easily goes off-screen even when 2-3 notifications available. Have you fixed it? If so - can you say how? Thank you

This started as a personal project to get my phone looking like the latest version of Google's OS as I knew it was a slim chace we would get the real thing, and because I wanted to learn a little more about how Android works. There was quite a lot of people showing interest in it, so I decided to post my work for everyone to use on thier Hero's. It has now transformed into somthing alot bigger than I ever expected. There is a lot of community work included in this theme, and I want to say thanks to a few people for thier contributions in either content or testing:
krispijn_s, Studjuice, Kullt, Calico5, LTourist, nmeuret, ximmox
Massive thanks to you all!

Installation steps:
Step 1: Download all four zip files, and put 'GingerFroyo-v2.2-signed' and your choice of keyboard on the root of your SDCard.
Step 2: Reboot to recovery and flash both updates (order doesn't matter)
Step 3: Boot up your phone and apply the XML file via "Settings > Cyanogen / Villain Settings > User Interface > Tweaks Extras > Select a theme > Gingerbread"
Step 4: Extract the files from 'GingerFroyo-Additional-Files' for dock icons and wallpaper to complete the look!
Confirmed working on the following Devices / ROMs

Here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9658192
Feel free to use em.
Ps. I haven't figured out the whole menu text colour thing either (prolly one of the xmls in drawable), so I kept the original menu_background.
Exactly what i was gonna do tomorrow! Looks like you beat md to it. If i work out how to change the text in the menu and the pulldown notification i'll let you know as your metamorph is alot.more flexible then my method. Feel free to us the bits for LP and keyboard in your post, if yours works on Froyd i will close my post and point it to yours, no sense in maintaing two versions!

TouchWiz Stock Clock app
***New Update 22th September 2012***
This is a ported touchwiz clock from the Samsung stock roms. It is tested and working on ICS roms and most Jelly Bean roms. This app has been tested in 240dpi (as it is designed for) and 210dpi, tested in English and French. Any graphical problems you might experience are a direct result to changing the dpi, I will not be accepting requests to change the visual layout of the app because as it is it is completely stock and working perfectly for 240dpi (the intended dpi for this phone)
This app is fully functional except for;
1. the map for the world clock (the world clock is working thought)
2. the popup notification notification that tells you your alarm will go off in X hours and X minutes
3. the color of what you have selected in the snooze options (you will be able to see what is selected in the main alarm screen
apart from these minor details everything else is working. Please do not post to tell me about these things, I already know.
I have added languages from all app versions that I could get my hands on. All the usual languages are included, I have recently included Hebrew and Arabic? as requested. If your language is not supported please tell me, and if possible send me a clockpackage.apk from a stock rom with your language (one that you are sure your language is included in)
This clock app is SGS3 themed where possible. See screenshots below.
I have also included a v2.4 +extras zip, this includes the Samsung digital clock widget (SGS3 themed), the Samsung Accuweather widget with transparent background, the Samsung memo app, and ThinkFree Office app.
If you dont want these extras please use the other zip - v2.4
If I have helped you at all, please hit the thanks button
or feel free to buy me a beer / donate
Please test it before you use it!
I will not be held responsible for people who wake up late and lose their job, or miss a flight, etc.
I wont be held responsible for people bricking their phones by doing dumb stuff, just follow the instructions.
Instructions
Copy to zip file to phone SDcard, reboot into CWM and flash, reboot, enjoy
If you are using a previous version of this clock apk please --> backup and delete the old file (HybridTWClock******.apk) from your /system/app folder and then install the new zip in CWM
If you are using CM9 or CM10 or a rom that already has a clock app (deskclock.apk), please note that you do not need to delete the existing clock app for this one to work, - but if you do delete the existing deskclock.apk this one will still work as a stand alone clock

Cool,
no there's no widget with this app, its just the stock clock from i9000, you might be able to try the 'digitalclock.apk' widget which comes with stock sgs2

for the extras pack, you will need to make sure that you have enough space on the phone too, I am using cm10 and I had to delete some stuff to make space, I deleted the trebuchet launcher and the latinIME keyboard, as I use apex launcher and swype keyboard which take up much less space, that way I was able to free up some more space

Are they the right size files? I mean the same size files as you see in the zip?
If that is the case maybe they aren't working on the Nexus S, I can't see why not though, it is basically the same phone as the i9000 and the touchwiz dependencies are removed too

Yes, it should work on any phone.
If the CWM zip file doesn't work for you you can install the files manually to where they need to be in the /system/app and /system/media folders and then fix permissions and reboot.
However the screen layout is setup for 240dpi phones, I am running it on my i9000 under 210dpi and it works fine too. Let me know how it goes?

INSTALLATION:
1. Download the ROM in the Download Section below.
2. While awaiting download, make a backup of your current rom and data.
3. When download finished, check md5 checksum.
4. Install a SAFE kernel (Philz kernel v4.35 and up or coh Hello World kernel) or if you are already using a custom JB ROM, it's more likely that you are already in a SAFE kernel.
5. Reboot into recovery and make a factory reset, full wipe and format system, preload and data partitions.
6. Flash the ROM and reboot when finished.
7. Setup as needed and enjoy the rom. Don't forget to grant supersu permissions to integrated apps as it is important for the ROM to work fully.
8. I suggest not to restore your data and apps for the meantime. Play with the rom for a while and feel its vibes to make sure everything is working. Then you can restore whatever you need/want.
9. Use Xposed Multiwindow Apps Manager to enable/disable multiwindow apps and also set the default window WIDTH and HEIGHT that you like.
10. Use XTweakbox to set various settings like dual pane Settings, statusbar color and transparency, clock color, scrolling wallpaper, etc. More will be added in the next XTweakbox versions and also you may want to check out my XBackground app to change backgrounds for various system resources. New version coming very soon.
11. Most stock apps dpi are already set but you can use App Settings module to choose your preference.
12. I used mostly stock Note1 apps (except Dialer, Contacts, Calendar & Email - ported Note 8 apps) so if you prefer the Note 8 apps or Note 10.1 apps, I will provide addons as we go along.
13. This ROM includes an Expanded Desktop mode which can be activated from the bottom traybar (button beside the window layout buttons). Use it during times you need to hide the navigation or systembar like when you use the Camera or play some fullscreen games. Turning the Screen OFF then ON again restores the navigation/systembar.
14. Although the ROM will save and restore your TW Launcher workspace when moving from one UI to another there may be times when TW Launcher may FC but you can reset it using Floating MW Control app in Restart Options menu.
15. DON'T FORGET. ENJOY. I highly appreciate FEEDBACK and SUGGESTIONS.
NOTE: When using the Multiwindow Manager app, NEVER allow it to patch anything. THis is important or you will lose the NEXT Floating Multiwindows mod.

I would like to call it X8, X presenting developer's title and 8 for Note 8 features.
Also for the theme part you can count on me.
Here is a Torrent Link. Hope it works. I am just new with this.
Since it focuses on floating multiwindow I suggest X Rom or Win Rom. If can please dont name the rom name as your name cause it will make the rom as if it has xperia apps and theme but I leave it to you since your the creator of the mod/ rom
Bring it on! :d
Thanks for your work!
Eagerly waiting for the rom
I would prefer "Windows Android" or "Windows Jelly Bean"

Presenting, MicroDelta stock based JB 4.2.2 ROM (P3110UEUCMK3) for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 and P3113 (see addons for more information on P3113 infrared support). All customizations for this ROM will be provided below as independent addons.
JB 4.2.2
Deodexed with smali 1.4.2
Zipaligned
Busybox 1.21.1 (Resource: http://busybox.net/downloads/binaries/1.21.1/)
Superuser 1.0.2.8 by ClockworkMod. This version of superuser is chosen because it is fully working, free, and open source. Resource: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.superuser
Kernel init.d support added to stock ramdisk.
Startup and Shutdown sound files renamed with "bak" extension to prevent execution (these two sound files can be changed back to their original names to enable the default startup and shutdown sounds again).
/system/media/audio/ui/PowerOff.ogg
/system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg
Sysro and sysrw scripts added to /system/xbin for easy command line interface.
/preload applications moved to /system/app for file management and deodexing
No default applications have been removed from this ROM. I find it safer to use Ti Backup and freeze the applications that I do not want to use, instead of removing them. Here is a list of the applications that I recommend freezing with Ti Backup in this ROM:
ChatON
Game Hub
Google Play Magazines
Google Play Music
Kobo
Music Hub
PressReader
Readers Hub
S Suggest
Samsung Apps
Samsung Push Service
Software update
Video Hub
Zinio
Provided below are five different options for altering the user interface (for both p3110 and p3113):
1) JB-black-statusbar-icons: change the Touchwiz status bar to black and the status bar icons to the default Jelly Bean icon set for the wifi, battery, and bluetooth. Also, change the notification panel to a black background with Jelly Bean blue accents.
2) JB-nominiapps-black-statusbar-icons: Same as option #1 plus removes the mini applications "arrow" that exists in the middle of the navigation bar.
3) JB-nominiapps: Keep the default Touchwiz icon set. Only remove the mini applications "arrow".
Note: The theme files below that have "transparent" in the name include a 75% transparency in the notification panel in addition to the other modifications.
First time Install Instructions:
1) Boot to recovery
2) Install P3110UEUCMK3 ROM
3) Install P3113UEUCMK3 Addon (for P3113 users only)
4) Install modified sec_csc to enable hidden camera sound shutter menu (optional)
5) Optionally choose and install a themed user interface (ie; nominiapps, black-statusbar-icons, etc), the Ripple & Light Lockscreen effects addon, the custom blue delta light effect addon, and the 4way-Reboot addon (select the files below with the same ROM version you are installing)
6) Factory reset
7) Reboot Recovery for first time into upgraded OS.
Upgrade Instructions from previously installed stock based ROM:
1) Boot to recovery
2) Install P3110UEUCMK3 ROM
3) Install P3113UEUCMK3 Addon (for P3113 users only)
4) Install modified sec_csc to enable hidden camera sound shutter menu (optional)
5) Optionally choose and install a themed user interface (ie; nominiapps, black-statusbar-icons, etc), the Ripple & Light Lockscreen effects addon, the custom blue delta light effect addon, and the 4way-Reboot addon (select the files below with the same ROM version you are installing)
6) Reboot Recovery for first time into upgraded OS.
Note to P3100 users: This ROM can also be used with P3100 devices thanks to ketut.kumajaya. Provided for us is an additional phone enabler package that can be used in combination with the BlackHawk NEXT kernel. When installing this ROM on a P3100, it is important to install the Blackhawk kernel before booting up into Android for the first time. The Blackhawk NEXT kernel is required for P3100 devices. P3100 Phone Enabler Thread and Blackhawk NEXT Kernel Thread
Edit: All files can be found here on Android File Host.

Attached below are update zips to enable the "Ripple & Light Lockscreen Effects" and the custom "Blue Delta Light Effects".
Attached below are also the MicroDelta theme build scripts for anyone that wants to reproduce the changes I have made to the SystemUI.apk. The build scripts were written for a Ubuntu linux build environment. Note: the build script files are not intended for flashing on your device.
Changelog for SystemUI build scripts:
20130927.2: Fixed coloring in battery icon set.
20130930.1: Added original Samsung signing key in build script to be pushed into apk after creation to force correct signature checksum.
Awesome thanks for this gonna try later at home. Running ur 4.1.2, hopefully this has similar battery life and smoothness.

Yes Richcar it's because of the 4.2.2 update. Mine's the official version that Tsjoklat used for this MicroDelta version, and it's also grayed out.
And the screenshot in this post is grayed out also
Anyone tested this rom? How does it run?
I set it up as second rom on dual-boot. P3110. Using Blackhawk´s NEXT Kernel 1.8.3-nooc and "new-vendor-blobs".
As i can say at the moment: Good Work! Running very smooth.
Now let´s see battery-life

Really good job!
@Tsjoklat Flash this ROM as 2nd ROM on P3100 using NEXT. It's fairly easy to add phone capability to this ROM (small change in framework-res.apk, replace some libraries, comment out ro.carrier=wifi-only from build.prop, add libril-sec.so) but somehow the SMS/MMS app refuse to work, sqlite database error

would flashing the sec_csc from the cache partition help? It adds provider specific stuff. I pulled that zip from cache and modified it to flash via clockworkmod.
Rom running great , now just waiting on 4-way reboot and if possible light effect and transparent notification. Tsjoklat thanks for your work really appreciate it .

I was getting a lot of freezing and after full wipe I wasn't able to download from play store.
I tried 3 different ways:
1. Wiped dalvik and cache and flashed over micro delta 4.1.2
2. Factory reset
3. Full wipe and reflashed
I don't know if not being on jb bootloader has anything to do with that.

After I try CM12.1 and RR, I do really like AOSP status bar
But custom rom comes with bug.
There are several themes available but none match what I want
So I try to remix them and would like to share just in case someone share the same preference
Tested only with Asus Stock 3.24.40.78 version.
Use it with your own risk, and not recommend using together with Asus Theme App - some may conflict
What changes from stock Asus
*********************
1. AOSP Signal style
2. Center clock
3. Net meter in/out
4. Circle Battery (Color when charging)
5. Quick setting header and background
6. Simple clock on lockscreen
How to install
*********************
Flash via TWRP or extract AsusSystemUI from zip and replace at /system/priv-app/AsusSystemUI/AsusSystemUI.apk with permission 644

Can you make the default like aosp one, the clock in the right position(default position) and no net meter? If you can it will be great.

If you mean Asus quick memo, it can be changed by using edit quick setting menu without any mod.
Asus already provide that capability.

In case of using any stock based ROM? They don't have this, they have just 4 options which can't be changed. How'd I do it on Recreated Remix Leopard 5.0 [Black] ROM?

Do you still need help for this?
Can you explain your detail step?
Installing this mod does not need any wipe. So, I assume you did some steps wrong.
Nice one mate. Btw is there any chance we can get Status bar like on Cyanogen Mod 12.1? You know the animation, icon, etc ?
