Hi all,
I should be grateful if anyone could tell me what to do with the following:-
- my Galaxy Note is now running "ROCKET-v20-LA4-eybee1970.zip",
what should I do if I want to upgrade to "Rocket-v21"?
- could I just install the "ROCKET-v21-LA4-eybee1970.zip" from SD Card
through the "CWM-based recovery mode"?
Thanks.
yes, thats simple.
Thanks a lot. I will try upgrade a.s.a.p.
Installed successfully. Thanks. It's really amazing and beautifly.
Hi pepol
i'm running DarkyRom ICS 4.0.4, but i'm not satisfied with the video playback, so I wana know what's your favourite GB rom, along with a thread link if you have
thx =)
Hi everyone
I was using ICS and JB roms for some months (ICS) and a few days (JB) and I noticed after retern to the stock GB and CM7 that the play store is slower on GB and very fast in the others (exept CM7 cuz it's GB). Can anyone explain to me why that slowness in GB roms?
Thanks a lot.
P.S: If there any fixes you can post it =D
Its first time i installed custom ROM CyanogenMod 10 with jellybean 4.1.1 in my galaxy s i9000 but i find out that internal memory is only 422MB while original stock ROM come with ample 1.5 gb internal memory. Why is that ? People get custom ROMs for improving their software. I also want to know that when you install custom ROMs your galaxy s i9000 still able to play video formats like divx/vidx ?
Thank you guys

If you are having a galaxy S I9000, then in stock rom your internal storage would be 1.8 GB and with CM10 and above it will be 1.46 GB. This is to ensure that adequate amount of space is available for system apps as size of a JB rom including google apps is much larger than a Gingerbread rom.
You can play all kind of video formats no matter what rom you are on.. try mxplayer.. I personally use that and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

Thanks for reply dude
Whatever you said make sense but my internal memory in CM10 is only 422 mb not 1.4 gb..its jelly bean 4.1.1
So i would have to install additional video player to play these video formats..i would not need to do this in stock ROM because it was built in there

If i remember right, old 4.1.1 Roms implemented this small partition layout (422 mb) for a short time but quickly revised to the big partition layout (1gb+).
I suggest you flash to the latest build 4.2.1 Roms.
Device: GT-i9000
Rom: JB 4.2.1 C-RoM Mix v7
Kernel: Mackay 0.244
