Hi, Now I want to get performance and smooth running games. Right now I get 20-30FPS on GTA VC on JellyBAM rom. I want to undervolt GPU. Now is 400mhz at 1100mV it is safe to add more mV? Like +50 or +100? and do I feel any difference?

Is it just me, or don't tegra-optimized games benefit much from overclocking ?
I have Rogue-Kernel 1.3.1 (with GPU OC) running and can definitely say it's working nicely. (Antutu bench @ 1.6Ghz/ performance 7200+ points, @ 1.0Ghz = 5000+)
Playing Riptide or Shadow Gun, I don't really see much of a difference. Just underclocking to <= 400 Mhz produces lower framerates. Obviously these games are heavily GPU-dependant and don't really care about the CPU.
The Rogue-Kernel is overclocking the GPU as well (given you don't install the "N" Version). So is there a way to change settings for the GPU, or is it maybe linked to a "clock-network" like some other chipsets, or is it overclocked automatically - depending on the CPU-speed ?
thanks in advance ...
hm, so all you overclockers are oc-ing for benchmark numbers only
Is there anyway to overclock gpu?Any app or script? i want to reach around 250 275 mhz. (without cpu overclocking)
yes you can,
but i'm not sure that what u meant,
you can oc live the bus to 250, and then lower the steps of the cpu and bring the gpu to 250 and the cpu on low freq, if I was you i'm probably do it when i'm keeping the cpu still overclocked but on lower step because 800*1.5 is 1200 and 1.5 is the speed you wanted to overclocked to the GPU.
how can i do 250x5? 250 bus and gpu speed 1250 cpu speed.is there any software for this?
I've only seen it on kernels for the ice cream sandwich builds (Team hacksung, Once Cosmic). I believe Devil kernel and Glitch. The Platypus kernel that comes with OneCosmic's build also has liveOC added. Take a look through the development section.
I'm not a rookie....I know some stuff etc....but I have a bit stupid question. Before I overclocked GingerBread custom roms to 1500Mhz (1.5GHz) but I didn't really noticed something vissible. When we overclock our phone this really does work on e.g. 1.5ghz or 1.4ghz.....etc? I mea if we overlock a phone to 1.5GHz and we compare it with a phone clocked to 1.5GHz from factory does really work fast like the factory clocked phone?Thank You!
yes, with the right kernel you can overclock up to 1,5 ghz.
Hi everyone
I recently overclocked my Samsung galaxy S i9000 to 1.4 GHz. I'm using CM 10.1.2 as my ROM and Mackay kernel 3.0.86.
I overvolted my cpu to 1350 mV and oc'd to 1.4 GHz using Voltage control app.
My issue (please see the attached png image file) --- Low 3D graphics score in AnTuTu benchmark even after this much oc'ing
I assume that as you overclock the cpu the gpu clock also gets increased, thereby increasing my 3d graphics score
Appreciate any assistance
thats normal mate, increasing cpu doesnt mean increasing in gpu or 2/3D perf. unless u can change da graphic card

Hi guys, as the exynos version is inferior in terms of performance and I would like to emulate the Nintendo Wii, I need to overclock the GPU. I know there is only one kernel which allows a full GPU overclock and voltage control, but it's oreo bound. Which alternatives do you know for Pie?
Does anybody have a benchmark of the GPU stock vs overclocked?
