Which one of the two would better off? I still haven't decided which one I should get.

I used to have a tf01 and it was nice, but can't compete with the nexus 7. Nexus all the way!

I have both, n7 all the way

IPad 3! Then a Nexus 7!

I have and like both. Feature wise, it's like comparing apples and oranges. You have to decide which features are more important to you.

Thanks for the feedback.
How about if in would like to write essays in it? For example.

Depends on screen size really and whether you want the dock. They are two really different tablets. You go to the tf101 forum and they will all say to go with that one.
If i was in that position I'd try to find a way to get the tf301. Best of both worlds then if you like the 10 inch size.
I'd keep away from tegra2
Gaming on that CPU is just a pure pain and its really old tech now ....
I have gtab 10.1 which I'm selling because its just to slow .... CPU on my galaxy nexus can handle more ....
Jellybean doesn't help either ....

I had a TF101 for a year and it was a good device but it was showing the signs of its age. I sold mine yesterday and picked up a Nexus 7 today and it kicks the crap out of the TF101. The Nexus is way easier to hold for extended periods of time and it's so much smaller. Not to mention the process for unlocking/rooting it so so much simpler, especially thanks to wug_fresh!

Getting the tf101. Thanks for your replies tho.
I'm sending a N7 for a tf101.
Hope that guy enjoys his tablet

Yep, just like others, I sold my TF101 for the N7 and wouldn't ever look back. I love this powerful little seven inch tablet!

I also got rid of my TF101 for the N7. If your interested in the 10" form factor, I would consider the tf300. It can be had for relatively cheap and will be a much better device than the tf101.
All I have to say is baaahuuummbug, nobody got my wife a nexus 7 for Christmas so I still have to share mine
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
....and being your wife, why didn't you get her a Nexus 7?
(somebody was bound to ask).
She would have killed me that is something I want her to have not something she wants she is happy using mine

Buy a nexus 7 give it to your son, friend, parent, her bestfriend. Ask ask to tell them it didnt come from you
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Wife didn't ask for one, bought one anyway, and she's up and running. Sometimes giving the gift not requested and something they wouldn't buy for themselves is the best one.

Got my 11 yo daughter one. Barely seen her since. Been nice and quiet! The gift that keeps on giving.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Yeah I would have gotten her one anyways I just did not have the extra 200 already have spent a grand this year and will be paying that off all year

I was blown away, discuss why this is the case.
Let the flaming begin.

It's faster because it's faster hardware supporting it also apple optimized iOS for smoothness. Not reliability or customization.

really doe, i don't care
Blown away by rows of icons, its not hard to not **** that up

Takes apple 2 and 3 years to develop a OS..and its only for ONE single model device....only one....but android is for over 500 devices. Its going to be more reliable if its only for one single device.

Exactly!
iOS would have a meltdown if it had to handle widgets

It would be also a tragedy, if iOS was supported on huge line of third-party devices. Android is OK, because it runs on VM and very modular. iOS is not.
Maybe it is, but alas I may never personally experience it.
Wow.. another IOS is better than Android thread... here's an idea. Go get an IPhone.

Our phone is the only phone that will continue to get official Ubuntu Touch. Take that Nexus 5!

Hope Canonicall will change their opinion. I want to have Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 5.
Good news but i think ubuntu touch needs more time.
Its a terd and barely works. Nexus 5 should be grateful they dodged the bullet. Too little too late.

Lucky! I wish I got a job like that. Crazy how they designed the adapter for the Nexus 5.

I've been using the Pwn Pad community edition 2014 on a Nexus 7 for a while now and it is a really good bit of kit. Hope they release a community edition of this too!!!
