[Q] CM10.1 video dlna crashes to reboot - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi does anyone have this problem on I9000. Since update to 4.2.1 cm10.1 I have lost the ability to stream video to sgs. Movie starts screen locks and forces a reboot. CM10 worked flawlessly.
Does anyone else have this issue

Music player freezing all the time (tryed reinstaling)

I have Darky 10.2, before 10 RE something and its the same. Player is randomly freezing all the time. If I install differend player (like winamp) its the same... Any sugestions?
is this while using headphones? if so, the problem is a loose connection with the headphones -- I tried several different payers thinking it was software related only to find out it is a physical connection issue with the headphones plug
Just tried: its the same on "speaker"... 2-3songs and its freezes :/
Edit: listening to radio is working just fine...
I've encountered the same problem with my i9000 sgs.
I've both with and without headphones.
What happens is my sgs will go into sleep mode then shortly after it will hang and I'd have to restart. However, if i keep the phone on, there are no issues. I initially thought it was a problem with SetCPU. I uninstalled it but the problem still persisted.
I'm running speedmod k15i t13 on 2.3.3 GB, base version XJV9.
Also, i do experience a problem where the alarm clock function of the clock regularly does not sound at all. I've read that it is because i cleaered my RAM after setting it to go off, is that true? (Sorry for thread jacking just wanted to know whether it is related)
Bought Galaxy Note. Working without problems^^

[Q] Poweramp crashes upon launch

Once I launch poweramp, it start to initialize, then crush.
I Uninstall and reinstall, Wipe cache and dalvik
This is the first time that I have this problem with Poweramp
You've installed this through blackmart? There can be a problem when the app was cracked. Try to download it from some other source and then install. Hopefully the problem will be solved
Why you are so sure that i downloaded a cracked version?
I bought the unlocked version already....
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
I have asked it as a question. And if the app crashes, you have to look out for an update as there can be a bug in the app.
+1
I'm having this problem too. To note, the crash does not display the "app crashed" pop-up. It started with cm-10.1-20130529-NIGHTLY-n7000 and persists with cm-10.1-20130530-NIGHTLY-n7000.
I did not try rolling back to cm-10.1-20130528-NIGHTLY-n7000 (which did not exhibit this problem). The newer nightlies have significantly increased performance and stability overall, so I'm interested in fixing Poweramp instead of going back to cm-10.1-20130528-NIGHTLY-n7000 (which I don't know 100% will fix it).
Interestingly, Poweramp played music when I connected Bluetooth in the car. While playing, the app still crashed if I tried to open it up (and the music stopped). I was able to start the music back up with BT controls though.
Wiping cache and data did nothing. I re-enabled Apollo, which crashed (with the app crash message) until I turned off Bluetooth and turned it back on. Apollo works but Poweramp is unchanged.
I'm having the exact same problem.
It happens on my galaxy s3 with latest cm rom.
so am I

Apparently it is a wider issue, since I have the same problems with my SGS2, running the 30/05 nightly.

I can confirm, in the 1/06 version for SGS2 Poweramp is working again. Must have been a bug in the ROM.

[Q] Video stuttering on Omnirom?

Hey guys, I finally got around to installing Omnirom 4.4.4 on my n7000.
Only problem is that every video seem to stutter in the beginning, and for Twitch it crashes half the time I try to load a stream. Is this the case for anyone else and do I need to install something?
Thanks

Nook HD+ on CM11 keeps crashing

I am running cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-ovation.zip on my Nook HD+. It works flawlessly except for this one issue, which unfortunately renders it extremely unreliable: it suddenly switches off with a pop sound at random times. Doesn't shut down, just suddenly dies. Because of the pop sound that always accompanies the crash, I suspected it to be related to audio, but the audio works fine otherwise. I have most often noticed this crash while running YouTube, but it has happened even on the home screen on occasion.
Has anyone else experienced this specific issue? How can I debug this a little more? Is there a way to enable a trace log or anything that can help troubleshoot more? I'd like to know if it is worthwhile to move to any other CM version.
CM11 isn't very stable on Nook HD. The bugs were just never entirely worked out. You should probably switch to either CM 10.1 or 12.1. 12.1 is the only one still being actively developed and Amaces has it working very well.

Network video playback causes reboot

Hello, guys and ladies.
I have some weird behavior of my XT1058 when I watch video from network. So, when I open video in MX Player or even in Chrome's videoplayer, it works perfectly, but when I try to move across the video, my phone comes crazy. At first few times I can do it without any problems and then scrolling causes freeze and then phone performs a reboot.
I'm using stock CM12.1 without custom kernel.
Need your gelp to solve this problem.
Thanks!
