taskbar at 240x16...
noticed the double edge of Planet Earth on the first pic?
Actually, it's 18px height.
YES! it looks perfect at 240x18... thanks Livven for the correction.
so how come 240x26 is used by theme makers?
taskbar at 240x18...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
spot the difference...
taskbar 240x16...
taskbar 240x18...
I think because the old taskbar had 26px in height... and, actually, most theme makers did not change the original taskbar image, and thus didn't care for the height of the taskbar.
In fact, MS has also left the softkey-highlight images from the older COM2 WM6.5 builds in their default theme (another legacy ).
thanks again Livven!
I made a couple of icons for the most popular android devices (HTC G1, SAPPHIRE, HERO, MOTOROLA MILESTONE).
I also included the autorun.inf file to easily "install" the icons (just some slight changes needed).
The icons are 256x256 pixel high quality icons. they're vista-ready .ico files.
To install the icon, simply copy the one you want and the autorun.inf on your sd-card (root-directory!)
Then edit the autorun.inf:
[AutoRun] <<DON'T CHANGE THIS LINE
icon=android.ico <<if you want to use the usb-icon, change this line (to "icon=android_usb.ico")
label=HTC Magic <<Replace "HTC Magic" with the name of your device.
Nice, dude.
These look better than the other ones that are out.
I am one of those people who doesn't like my phone looks like a colourfull Christmas tree. So I made myself a black and white theme in Wisbar Advance Desktop.
I like to share the apple icons (including the dock..for WVGA Portrait) and backgrounds here with you as well as the volume/signal and battery icon which I used.
Example how it's look like: (don't mind the quality, for some reason it is in low resolution)
How does one install this??
Like I said, this is not a theme cabfile, but just something I made in WAD2, so all manual work... these are just the icons and backgrounds I used.
In Author Mode in Wisbar Advance you can set all this together.
Cheers,
Arnold
hello
very nice. good pictures
So after playing around with Desktop Visualizer and liking everything I saw on the forums i decided to try out a small layout / icon pack.
the phone icon is just a simple one i made in Inkscape to play around.
let me know and i'll make some more and in different sizes if anyone is interested. I also attached the gimp xcf files in case anyone wants to make their own.
this should work with any launcher that lets you set rows to 5.
