Anyone have suggestions on belts that may fit this beast of a phone? I like the "go belt" but not sure if it fits the note 2.

I know it is a bit big to go jogging w/ I just can't be with out it! I don't want to go full fanny pack either.
I went to my local running store to try them. They don't fit. You can try the Airflow Lite or the Airflow Endurance by Amphipod.

A friend of mine has the Airflow Lite for his Galaxy Note 2. It fits quite snug, if you have a thicker case then go with the endurance!

I keep mine either in my jog pants pocket or in the "kangaroo pouch" of my sweatshirt without any problem. Haven't had it yet in the summer. It was 24degrees F here today.
I've been using my running jacket zipper pockets. Only problem is a lot of my jackets zipper pockets broke or don't fit well so the airflow lite will be a great.
Going to go to my local running store tomorrow and picking up the airflow lite. Thanks for the recommendation!

The Spibelt looks interesting. Will it fit the phone with case on it and does it feel comfortable for looking runs? I'm training for a marathon and still looking for something to hold my phone.
The Spi belt is stretch fit. It shouldn't have any problem with cases as long as it is not something too bulky like a Ottobox Defender case.
I don't feel it while running so yeah it's pretty comfortable for me.
Remember you need to specify the large version of the belt.

Great, and being invented my home town is cool too.
Quick update-
I just came from a Marathon expo in Houston and found the Nathan 5k running pak.
It fits the Note 2 well with my Ballistic case.
Here's a link for it with some pretty good reviews:
http://www.amazon.com/Nathan-5K-Runners-Waist-Pack/dp/B000NDEYX8
iFitness running belt
The iFitness running belt works pretty well for me. I have one that's just a pouch and another that also holds gels around the waistband. It's a neoprene holder so it stretches to accommodate.
www.ifitnessinc.com
The larger spi belts work very well too. Using it on my note with otterbox defender case

So only 'large pocket spibelt' will fit note 2 properly?
How about /specialty-spibelt/spibelt-endurance-series?

Think i'm going to go with the Large SPIBelt! Thanks for posting the pics Whatsit!
*UPDATE* - Note, the pocket on this belt is NOT sweat proof at all. I've been putting my n2 in a ziplock bag and wrapping it in paper towels to help keep the moisture away. I may need to try the waterproof version JoinMA mentioned. Regardless, this is much better than using the armband.

i have no interest in these flip cover cases. i'm really looking for something similar to the rock case i had for the GS3 but it seems like rock is only making the flip cover cases. can anyone recommend something thin and minimal without the flip cover?
i wonder if you can cut the flip cover off that rock case and it still would work ok?

One of these might suit your needs:
http://www.slipgripcarmounts.com/Using-Defender-Case-------------------------_c_27737.html
I am planning in adding some industrial quality Velcro to the back of the holster and a piece to my dash.
Our my other idea is to use my universal mount that has a tab adapter. You stick it to the back of the holster and it clips onto the bracket on the dash.
The main reason i ordered the otterbox defender is to have the holster to adapt to a gps mount
I use this one from radio shack I got it for my old evo shift but it works just fine with the note 2

I'm not certain, but I don't think the ProClip and SlipGrip mounts are interchangeable. There is a thread here (starting with message 23) showing how they could be made interchangeable:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=757648&page=3
I have decided to modify the belt clip for the defender into a car clip.
I've basically taken the belt clip off the back and glued on with epoxy a Brodit 'move clip'. I've then modified a Brodit tilt/swivel to accommodate the other half of the move clip.
I then modified another Brodit holder that I use for the handset when not in the defender to use the move clip and so I can swap car holders in a second depending on what case I'm using.
The second part above is still been glued. Once done I'll take a few pics and post them

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm also looking at ThingSling's car mount. They say you'll be able to attach the thingsling to it, all buttons will be accessible, and that it can rotate. Plus thingsling will help operate the GN2 one handed, especially since I have the OBD on it.
Hmm, either that or the slipgrip cases.

Otterbox really dropped the ball after the Dell Streak case. That case had a notch cut in the back of the holster clip that allowed it to be attached to a gooseneck. You just turned the phone to face out, dropped it into the holster, and then attached the holster to the mount. It was perfect and they haven't repeated it since and I have no idea why. Made such good sense.
In any event, I have switched to the Exomount 2 and I love it. It truly is universal and it works really well.
I love the iOttie! Got one for my GS3 and it is perfect. Ordering one now. Sad thing is I just ordered the slipgrip yesterday lol. Guess I'll toss it on craigslist.
I made my own... This was for my S3 with a defender but I'm gonna do the same with my GN2 when my case comes in. I had an old car mount for my OG droid so I just modified it a bit.

I'm looking to get a Note II case that can double as wallet. The one I picked up at Verizon when I got the phone is a bit bulky, and I'm considering getting a new one Does anyone have one they like?
I can't answer your question; but the reason why might interest you.
I couldn't dream of using a case which leaves the corners exposed but I've only found one wallet case with full corner protection, but from the pictures it would be too bulky (the leather protrudes from the side further that the edge covering)
I'll link later if I remember but it's on play.com type note 2 wallet.

There are plenty over at www.gmarket.kr it seems like that the koreans like wallet case, and they do have the largest range.
I tend to like the forest green brand you can find them at gmarket or ebay.
I've got this sinjimoru sinji pouch from amazon which can attatch to the back of any case or phone basically. Can fit like 4 cards and some cash.. I even got an extra battery and two cards in it once. It was around $10, attaches with a sticky type back, doesn't stretch and I absolutely love it. Have it on the back of my otterbox.

Interesting - a lot of the cases on the website look interesting, definitely considering one of the ones that double as a stand. I see your point - just figured that if I have a big phone, I could cut down on the amount of things I have to carry around. The one I have has worked ok so far, but tends to bulge in the middle. Don't know if there are any that solve that problem though.
If anyone is wondering, play.com is buy.com in the US; looks like it has a smaller selection though.

It's only $12, it's good quality, not real leather of course.
Easily fits two drivers licenses, two credit cards, and a few Disney passes.
Not really a wallet to hold cash, though you could put a few bills folded into it.
It also folds on the back to prop up like a stand.
The phone snaps into a plastic case on the inside, seems to provide meager protection. Corners aren't really protected well.
It also uses a button clasp instead of a magnet, which is good.

No lip meaning that if set face down the glass is contacting the surface?
How does the case stay on the phone?
Do the corners of the case on the top and bottom of the phone touch before the phone, meaning if standing on end does the case touch or the phone surface?
I ordered one from amazon today in anticipation of Verizon's release in a couple days.

Corners and the edges wrap around the bezel to hold it in but if you put the phone face down the glass will contact a table surface as there's pretty much no lip.

I really like the size of this case as it seems on par with the Rock cases I've used with my SGS2, 3, and 4.
Can you comment on the "textured" feel? What I really look for in a case is that it has some friction/grip to it so that I can rest the phone in my hand at an angle and it won't slide out.

Lip is minimal but glass is not touching a table surface. You can test it with some source of light. Actually, lip is 1mm and lip cover whole left and right edges (including corners) of the phone. Whoever looks for Ultra-Slim case, this is the case to get. At least for now.

Loving this case. It's slightly textured like the Rock case for my S3 and the Quicksand case for my S4, which makes the phone feel a little safer in my hands.

And case in brown, (planner stuff removed).
This is a shot of my planner converted.
Paper pad, pen and tablet on one side.
Random papers on the other.
How do you like the cover? Im very picky about cases, but there are not many available right now. It looks good but im curious about the feel and protection of the tablet.

I dig the cover. Very low profile.
As to the case, I like taking stuff with me, but being able to ditch it all and just use the tablet.
I would rather have a low profile cover, rather than a portfolio style. I always have a laptop bag with me so I don't really need extra space. That tpu cover is all over amazon and it has the right price, so I'm gonna grab one. Thanks...

I totally get it. The flip covers are nice and compact. To each their own.
I have two common scenarios.
1- I take just the portfolio and nothing else. 80% of the time.
2- I take a larger bag in which I ditch the portfolio and just take the tablet with the plastic case. 20% of the time.
I was meaning the tpu as a low profile option. Having to deal with a flip cover always seemed to be weird to me. I like that you probably saved 30 bucks and got the best of both worlds, plus gained a few utilitarian features from using the planner instead of buying a specific tablet cover. It doesn't seem like anyone other than you (and me soon enough...) are interested in a tpu/silicone case. I emailed Trident about a rugged case but they have nothing on the radar yet for the tab 3.

I am using that particular cover/case on my GTab3 8.0 and I love it. I did a semi review of it along with a screen protector in the accessories section under the title ArmourSuit military screen protector and Bobj Rugged case. (or something similarto that title)
Thanks!
