Its a power mount like iBolt
It has a built in speaker on the cigarette lighter
Comes with a charger
Activates car mode
Custom fit for note 2, not generic
Fits with or without a thin case
Small foot print
Only $33
I just ordered the same one from Mugen. I hope automatic car mode works as the MobileFun site says.
Please post back. Deciding between this and the iBolt.
This one is cheaper and offers the same benefits as the iBolt, but is a custom built cradle and not a generic clamp.
This is where I ordered it from: http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2-car-mount-cradle-with-handsfree.html because it was a dollar or so cheaper after liking them on Facebook.
I didn't notice until afterwards that it will ship from overseas somewhere. They said it will take 4-5 weeks to get here. I don't know if MobileFun ships from the US or not, but I'm not happy about the wait I'll have to endure.

I was thinking of getting the OEM dock from the US but I am pleased to see that Brodit are now producing a passive holder for the Tab. It is now on the DSL website for pre-order in the UK. They are hoping to have them before the end of the year but no certainty. Seems to be only available in the passive form but that's what I want. Search for item 511209 on either the Brodit website or the DSL website.
I've ordered a VERY similar mount on ebay, look it up!
Looking for the active one myself!

New mount coming from RAM
http://www.ram-mount.com/NewProducts/ramadaptacradle/tabid/3616/Default.aspx
Appears to be coming on Feb 11, 2011. This is probably the one I'll be getting.
Multiple pictures and details at the link. If you "add to cart" the price shows $28.47. Unknown if that will be the actual retail price or not.

That RAM mount looks nice, and with the customizable cups, looks like it can hold my Tab while in the folio case. That price though is just to hold the Tab; you still need one of the mounting options which vary in price (none of which I would consider "cheap"). Maybe retail pricing will be much less..
I agree, some of the RAM mounting accessories you need to "make" a complete solution can be pricey. The good thing for my case, is that I'm already using a RAM solution for my Nexus One. Interchangeability rocks!
I just received my OTG cable and saw it was the wrong one I've ordered.
It's turned so its in the way of the mini-jack and the mini usb is too long so there's a gap between the nexus and the plastic on the cable.
could someone point me to the right cable? preferably from aliexpress.com or amazon.co.uk as they will ship to Denmark.
Tnx

I know that sometimes on the US site of amazon it will show up the same on the .co.uk one. So I'll give you the link and see if it works. This is the OTG cable I use with no issues.
Edit: As I just read in the customer comments there. There appears to be some issues depending on the seller. I bought it from seller "Crazy-Store(ship from Hongkong)" (no affiliation to the seller other than being a customer).
Note: It did take about 2-3 weeks for it to arrive to me here in New York, USA.

tnx but they won't ship to Denmark.
I think I've found the right one on amazon UK but they won't ship it here either so there's aliexpress left.
is there a way i can be sure i won't the one with the long connector?

Hard to say given the circumstances. If you check out the comments that I mentioned in my previous post. I guess I got lucky. I'm sure there's someone on here that can or will eventually give a more definitive answer.
Of course, assuming the sellers are actually selling the correct product on Amazon, then I'd say you are going to get the correct cable. And again that's a pretty big assumption after what other people said on Amazon.
according to the comments on the amazon link a seller on ebay named itrimming sould have the right cable so i've made a bid.
Now i just have to wait +9 hours to know if i got it.
hate ebay when i just want to buy something

Has anyone bought this package? I was looking for extra batteries on Ebay and ran across this one. The seller has a good rep. I still wanted to ask here tho if anyone bought this, or what your thoughts would be considering this is three batteries and a charger, for very cheap.

Sellers tend to have good rating for the quality of their service, not necessarily for the quality of their products.
$13 isn't bad though.. you should have maybe at least 6500mah combined from those three batteries.

I have a suspicion some of the sellers on Amazon get their shady rating count as well. It takes a second to create merchant account on Amazon and list anything already sold in there under the original manufacturer listing. Since I talk to a lot of accessories companies, a number of them complain about people selling fake ones under the same listing (very common with Spigen, UAG, Samsung batteries/headphones/chargers, and others). So you have to be very careful who is the actual seller of the product when you click to buy it. I notice some sell fake stuff, it's clearly listed as seller from China, and they got 100k feedback rating?!?
Personally, I try to look for those who sell with Prime option since it's covered by Amazon and often an OEM part they have in their warehouse.

Ebay can be pretty good if you know how to check feedback. Almost everything I buy is from there (laptop, phone, fresh fruits).
Yes let us know how good they are. I have a $6 glass screen protector coming in a few weeks that I'll post pictures too of so people can compare to the $30 brand name ones. I love comparing generic chinese sold products to the brand name ones. In many cases they are very similar expect one has a fancy badge and price tag
I also got a micro USB to HDMI adapter last night for my Note 2, and one of those 3 in 1 lens kits for it. The lens kit was only $7 with free shipping. I watched several Youtube vids regarding it, and for that price you can recod some pretty amazing footage.

With wall charger you get ~1600mA which charges device in about 2.5hrs . The output of the one u bought is 1/4th (400 max) of the external charger so it would take 4x times longer than it would have taken with the wall charger(10 hours ) .
i dont know much about electrical stuff . I hope am wrong cuz i have already bought a spare battery and thinking of buying the samsung external charger but 50$ is way too much. Im getting it at 39.9$ but stilll too much

I just bought this thing off Ebay and didn't do my homework because some people have bought other wireless chargers that were cheap like this one. I'm going to go to Best Buy and will pick up the original one to compare to the one that is coming. The one off ebay is $39.99 while the one's on BB is $69.99. Sounds too good to be true. I already contacted the seller and told them that I WILL KNOW if it's fake. I'll post my findings here so no one gets screwed like probably I did. I'm going to return it (almost certain).

I saw a video on YouTube where someone waswas explaining tdifferences between a fake wireless charger and an original wireless charger. There were somesome subtle differences and you could only tell by having the original and fake one side by side. I think that someone mentioned that the fake one would only do a "wireless charging", while the original one would say "fast charging", when you would put the phone (S7 edge) on the charger. Also there are power bricks that are fake too. Honestly, I would only buy these charges from BB and maybe B&H. Not even AMZN, because there have been fake ones in there too. I'll pick up the original one probablyprobably today from BB. The one from Ebay is coming tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.
OK, so I just picked up the original wireless charger pad for $75 at the local BB. Now I have to wait for the one coming from eBay. I also bought a car charger that is supposed to be from Samsung too, but BB doesn't carry that one. I'm also weary about the car charger. It sucks to have to deal with this, but it is what it is.
Update: just tested the car charger bought from Ebay (hopefully original Samsung charger). My phone does say "fast charging", so I'm thinking that is a good sign.
I've just recently taken delivery of four of these (black) sold and shipped by Amazon.com LLC for $36.34 a piece.
They are quite genuine. Not sure why anyone would want to risk eBay when those are available.

Some of the stuff I buy from eBay ends up coming from Amazon. But anyways, after carefully looking at the one that came from BB and the one that came from Ebay, the Ebay one seems original, but it almost looks used (the BB one looks more glossy, if that makes sense). Also the chargers look slightly different. The Ebay one has a V in the back, while the BB one has a VI. Also, the packaging is different too, so I'll probably be returning both and buying one from AMZN like it was mentioned above. Even at AMZN you have to be careful because some sellers do slip fake chargers in there too. So bottom line, don't get this from Ebay.

Precisely why I referenced Amazon.com LLC as the seller. Maybe others have had an experience dissimilar to mine, but I've never received a fake product from them - and even if it were to happen, has anyone ever had them deny a legitimate return?
With Red Weasel Sales (TM) you take your chances. Maybe you'll win, maybe you'll get burned.

I just got the shipping notice that my free Samsung wireless charger was delivered today. Cannot wait to try it out as I have seen a ton of good stuff written about it. Will let you all know what I think.
Got my Samsung Wireless charger set up yesterday and it works amazing. I love being able to switch from a flat to a cradle setup and have not had a single issue with the charger finding the phone, even with the Spiegen Neo Hybrid case (which I love btw) on the phone. This is my first foray into wireless charging and I am already wondering why I waited so long.
