using both original charger.. 1 from IS itself.. another from sensation se.. same issue
Then may be ur micro usb port problem.. Reach service center..

First issue is because of battery symbol loading animation. In Cm10/9 you can change to a battery symbol without animation

Hey guys i want to know does it really effect battery to charge whole over night n also charging wid samsung galaxy charger nt wid lg stock one give me ur view
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda premium
it is absolutely no problem to charge with the galaxy charger.
For charging over night, the battery will not be over charged as it would stop automatically once 100%.
Some sayings suggest that it is not good for li-ion battery to be charged fully and probably may reduce battery life.
However, I don't care that so much. It is very easy for me to buy a new black battery to replace it in my country

Uhm....
my phone's battery and motherboard had to be replaced because of that, service center told me it was because of overcharging and/or flactuating power supply. Be careful still, I was lucky my phone was still in warranty, the motherboard costs almost half of the price of the phone. D
Hey bro dnt scare me saying like dis its many time my battery over charge whole night
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda premium
i'm not, it really happened to me... got back to rooting it and hope it doesn't happen again, I just had it this February and the warranty guy told me to be sure it doesn't happen again or else it would be very hard to explain to their main office.
BTW, here's my thread to be exact http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874449
Appriciated ur reply i installed full battery alaram nt to over charge
send from lg optimus using xda premimum from nokia 3310
definitely not those are intelligent batteries, they will stop charging once 100% and fluctuate around 98-100%
no risk of overcharging, thats a myth
Just check if the charger does not inject too much voltage. My Motorola charger gives more voltage than my OB charger, making my phone charging faster, but also getting hotter when charging.
Phones may get burnt/damaged during the charging process, not after.
And NEVER EVER try to charge a phone with a tablet's charger lol
Thanks! I also have been wondering about this.

I have this "problem" too but i found the truth. Our OB chargers are not so good it's about the volts\mah something. Try using usb charge , it's better and you dont have that problem anymore.

pc usb charging it works fine. But it will take a little longer to charge full battery but i think it will last longer too. This thing i noticed but im not sure.
I have some experience with this. If you are not using the original charger you will have problems. The lights problem is old.
After i plugged in a samsung galaxy s2 charger my OB had closed and i was unable to turn on until i connected the genuine charger.
Its all about mAh.

how long you have left it on the charger?
just connect a charger to a phone, and leave it for a while, it will wake up...
I charge it overnight, no use, its weird, maybe I'll send to service center.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Does the note 2 have the same size of battery? If yes you could try that only if it's the same
Not same, tomorrow I'll try buy a new battery first if its ok if still not then to service center

You could have bad charge port in phone

One such incident was reported elsewhere in the forum. The phone won't wake up or recovery mode. But the phone was able to go into download mode. So the guy flashed gb rom thru pc Odin.

I bought a desktop charger and charge the battery first, its all ok now, seems my note have problem if battery completely depleted so cant charge with the phone directly, now I can charge the phone directly as long as battery is at least 1% .

hye , i having problem with my xperia x8.. when i charge it not detect with a phone .. why? have a way to solve...
<sory for my bad english>
Try with another cable/charger and clean the usb port with a small brush. If your phone turned off because the battery went to 0%, just wait 5-10 minutes after you plug in the charger.
Sent from my E15i using xda app-developers app
okay i will try it...
And if it didn't works then reboot your phone 'cos sometimes after a reboot the charging works fine..

Are u using original charger??
Sent from my MIUI using xda app-developers app
also try removing the battery for about 5 seconds , put it back then charge your phone
See this too
maybe you have problem with your X8's Micro USB port i also have this Problem and planning to repair it soon
if not with Micro USB port that maybe with your cable pins or with it connection cable.
if can't afford to repair that little thing! because of it cost.
use Universal Charger that charge your battery only and have a long lasting battery whole day!
that better than charging with cables
THANKS if helped
8Hi all. I have a S advance and it has a problem about charging.
My charger isnt original and while charging, my touch gets buggy. I read that some non original chargers give this bug, so i took my bro's charger (original). For my sadness the fckng phone didnt charged, so I took my cousins also original, didnt charged also. Now my only option is charge it not using
My batery is new
What can i do?

I had buggy touch bug but it was loooooong time ago. It was loking like that :
When have opened app drawer or any app it started running and i always end at homescreen when i was trying to do something on my phone while battery was charging.
But i cant remember how and when this problem was gone but i can said this :
One day touch was buggy and in second it was OK (not buggy)
If this problem will exist very long go to service. May your microusb port is touching LCD. And when you connect charger LCD feels power as a touch and starts bugging.
Sent from my GT-I9070P using xda app-developers app
It exists in battery. I charged with a non-original charger (or it was a blackberry charger lol i don't remember exactly) and battery damaged. Then I switched another original battery and never used non-original charger, now it's okay. Changing voltages probably won't help, I recommend you to take a samsung charger and samsung 1500mAh battery then you can play with voltages too.
Thanks all at first.
But guys. A new batery here is R$130 ($60). I have already bought one new 2 months ago.
Cant a just make my batery get used to the original charger voltage?
Sent from my GT-I9070 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If you buy it only for 2 months ago, then you still have warranty and must return to seller for change it.
Correct?
Powered by CM10.2
Indeed. So i tell them that my phone batery has got addicted to another voltage then the original samsung charger?
I will do that. But for those that doesnt have warranty and are running out of money, is tjere something they can do?
