Move to SD ext makes you slow? - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hi I'm new to partition and I just tried that yesterday
I use s2e and move all of them
At first its very smooth and fast but after I install 32 app and reboot my phone is extremely slow. After that I unselect the dalvic chace and aplication but still its very slow.
What should I do?
Sorry for my bad English

yeah you are right.
But we have good chances to get this working on our ace because the galaxy y (armv6) has a working dual boot in test stage:thumbup:

I don't realise the point of dual boot for a phone with low internal memory like the Ace.
First of all, it would be difficult to make it work.
Secondly, as the second rom will be present in the SD card, it would function slowly.
Thirdly, it is not of much use for the Ace in my opinion!

from where did money come into this? And if it is possible then what is the problem?+except you i guess most of people would be glad to be able to dual boot
ace is getting old and history now with companies like micromax and many more offering dual core at very low prices people are more towards an upgrade now rather than inserting life in old ace. i am also ace user but i will soon move to other device so dual boot is no worry when 1 single causes so much on instability and slow with eating battery so think what dual boot will do. till then dual boot will come working perfectly samsung would have stopped building ace.

Glad to hear that
I read somewhere that it was irreversible! Thankyou for confirming it as false
Anyway could you provide a link to the complete procedure? Like from partitioning to using a good script? And do you suggest EXT3 or EXT4?
Thanks a lot

Best and quick way to partition would be via ClockWorkMod Recovery and it will automatically use EXT4 which is better.
And I would recommend Link2SD, no problem with it so far for me.

[Q] How do i move apps and data to external sd card? cm10 4.1.2

Hello
I have a i9000 with 8gb internal (Internal: 1.48gb usb: 5.63 gb and external sd: 7.39gb), now that most of the internal memory is filled with big games. move 2 sd option doesn't move the data to External SD Card.
1. How do i move the app and their data to External SD card?
2. set default location for apps (external sd card)
3. Set location of storage of camera images and videos to use external sd
SGS i9000 4.1.2 cm10 20121225
semaphore 2.6.5
thanks,
PS: Couldnt find a solution on the forum so made this, Sorry if this is solved before.

gl to sd is not a user freindly app, is there any other way to do that? now that i have installed 4.2.2 version of os, gl to sd has been reported to have bugs on 4.2
4.2.2 already has that option

I believe that 4.2.2. already has this option to move most of the apps to sd card by default. Use App2sd to see all the movable apps at once. So that you can get the idea of movable apps in one picture. Or use Advanced sd card app.
You may be knowing it, but your question has confused. Apologies if you already know about it. Just wanted to help.
Cheers! ! !

Just flash it. but mount /system before you flash or else you'll get bootloop. I use Int2ext+ it leaves /data/data on internal for speed

I recomend biel #6 angpysha not stable
I went to fourm of cron mod.
Does it partition 100 MB from each 500 MB or this is only for apps.
I mean does system if i flashed another rom will be on this partitioned part from SD card or no?
And Do I must format SD card before flashing it?

yes for every 100mb is equivalent to 500mb of partition. you don't need to format your sdcard, it will be formatted when you partition it.and btw, you must install it with an init.d support
I partition my sdcard to 800mb only because it's enough for me. I use this Mini Tool Partition Wizard
and as I said. before flashing you must mount /system because i tried the process in the op thread to format /sd-ext
but it does not work. you'll get bootloop or it will boot but script won't work.
Press Thanks If I helped you :silly:

before you flash the int2ext in cwm you must mount system
that pc program is for partitioning sdcard because if you use cwm for partitioning you don't have any option for
800-900 mb because 1gb is too much because as i said 100mb internal memory is equal to 500mb in second partition
