You can't go to TWRP because stock recovery is installed with the JB rom, go to there and wipe cache and do a factory reset. hope this helps...
reflash with odin, then full wipe in stock recovery

Hello, since I don't really like my custom rom (remics 1.4) I would like to install back my stock rom (normally the latest gingerbread since I couldn't do any update). But on sammobile I can't find any roms for my country, I'm from belgium. My phone isn't simlocked, I don't know if it has any use to know that?
Btw, my phone is a galaxy s plus (GT-i9001)
Sorry for the double post

Here is a collection of an official Samsung released Roms:
Tutorial how to flash them HERE.
Thanks man, that's really helpful. So I can flash any of those roms without worying about being belgian or anything?
Should i format my phone before flashing those roms?
From my experience you should do a wipe/factory reset before Odin the stock Rom.
I have Odin a stock Rom without wipe and it didn't boot so I cf-root, wipe from recovery and booted.

Ok, so if I understand i should do : Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache and hop, I turn off my phone, go into download mode and flash the stock rom immediatly?

Exactly!
Thanks man, you're a beast, really fast answer
sorry to bother you a bit more, but I prefer to be cautious with all of this, these roms, more precisely the XXKPU one (last in the list) is I think from poland? Does it have any importance? Since I am belgian, i need the french language haha
Oi, guys, I really need help please!! I did wipe data/factory reset in clockworkmod, then i closed my phone and flashed the stock rom (XXKPU) with Odin. But now my phone isn't booting! Or more precisely, It's just the sequence with the "S" appearing that comes over and over again!! What did I do wrong and what can I do please??

Boot into cwm and either wipe data again or your are going to have to flash the stock again. I have had to do that in the past
Sent From My YP-G1 running ICS build 3.5
I tried booting in cwm but I can't, failed like 5 times. A few tries, I got an android robot with some sort of opened box next to him.

This is your WIKI http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus/GT-I9001 it contains everything you need to help you, get a better understanding of your phone
1) 19001 uses Odin 4.43
2) need AriesVe.ops file for flashing
3) IF CWM failed flash CWM 6.0
4) If boot failed flash a i9001 boot loader ( look in My Android collections , link below or use your WIKI)
Thanks a lot man, flashed the cwm in the phone, did a wipe data/factory reset and it works like a charm now. I'll defenitly do a bit of reading to understand my phone a looot better!

Ur recovery might be the issue.
Sent Via XDA™ Premium
so how do I fix it?
Obviously! u need to flash an appropriate CWM recovery that is build for ur device.
Sent Via XDA™ Premium
As far as I know ...
the CWM recovery can't flash in GT-S5570i ...
I did on my device and after reboot it goes back to original CWM ...
that's mean on GT-S5570i u can use custom CWM as temporary only ...
@girl223
if u followed the above advices and still can't solve the problem ...
then u need to start from scrap ...
I mean need to flash with original firmware then upgrade to Jellyblast ....
check out This POST and follow the procedure ...
Hi all
N7000 @ 4.1.2 with PhilZ.Speedmod
Odd behaviour began a few days ago: Single tap power button would cause the Reboot/Airplane mode menu followed by a crash a few seconds later. This became more and more likely to happen so I wiped user data and performed a full factory reset/cache wipe etc.
Went through the android start up as per usual and only installed non-root apps just to be on the safe side (except Titanium Backup - which i use to freeze Touchwiz).
About 4 hours after, same problem only this time it wont get past Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Splash screen image at all.
A new battery was inserted a few days ago - could this have damaged the board maybe?
Recovery STILL works but I don't have any backup images.
Odin recognizes the phone in download mode
Should I try a different kernel/rom?
Really lost without my note.
Any help gratefully receieved!
Regards
Warnoceros
I am having the same issue. Was on Carbon Rom and everything was working fine, then after a restart the phone cannot pass the boot animation. It just shuts off right in the middle of booting. Have tried to reflash back to GB and still the same issue.

No let it be the stock after first flash

Okay, so reflashed and the phone booted fine but i'm still getting this intermittent 'power button causing crash' fault. Tried a couple of different Roms and am still getting the same problem.
Could it be a hardware problem?
Thanks
Warnoceros
Yeah it seems to be a hardware issue.. Wait for someone else more experienced then me to see this thread maybe he/she can suugest you a way to get out of this problem.. If you have warranty then do claim it before it's too late

the battery might be failing and have caused something that messed up the filesystem; try installing another battery and reflash any rom with wipes etc and see if it boots up
What kernel do you use exactly?..philz or speedmod?...
If you on philz or speedmod kernel I suggest you make a clean install,
Reboot recovery full wipe..
Reboot to download mode,
Flash stock GB or JB..
If you flash JB, download philz kernel.zip and flash through stock recovery...

Stuck on Splash Screen. No recovery. Odin not able to flash roms.

Hi
My stock JB official unrooted rom suddenly went to a bootloop. I looked up online for solutions and flashed an official JB ROM for my phone and Odin failed to flash it. I tried Philz recovery but Odin failed to flash it. I got a yellow triangle which I was able to removie through Odin. Currently my phone is stuck on the splash screen. Recovery doesn't work. Odin fails when I try to reflash with a md5.tar file. Please experts help me with my problem. would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

you usually get stuck in a boot loop when you forget to wipe dalvik cache and factory reset the phone before installing a custom rom

I eventually entered recovery mode, and flashed the CM 10.1 again, and it worked, but if you say I must try a kernel with CWM, how exactly do I do that?
Can you link me a good kernel (stable.. better battery life<<sorry I'm noob :laugh, and also link me to a guide on how to install/flash a kernel? because I've never tried a different kernel, so I have no idea how to install a new kernel, Thanks!
**I have another question cyclops : If you flash a kernel, and then you change rom, will this rom remove the previously flashed kernel? or the kernel I manually installed will remain?

ALWAYS what you want to restore a backup do the 3 wipes (data, cache and dalvik-cache) fist and then restore your rom
First, my GT-N7000 would be stuck on 'Turning On' wifi, then i factory reset it and it resulted in a bootloop. As of now i cannot access CWM. HALP PLS :crying:

If you simply can't get to recovery you probably should try flashing a stock JB ROM via PC Odin. Go to @dr.ketan's stock ROM sticky thread and be sure to follow the instructions very carefully. Are you sure you can't get into recovery?
If that succwssfuly flashes then you can root+cwm using philz after that and then install any custom ROM you want.
