[Q] How to get S3 mod working with KingDroid ICS Rom?

Hello everyone!
So after going through extensively and flashing/reflashing/hanging modem flash/etc. etc. I finally got a working KingDroid v2.1 installed and working on my Galaxy Note via this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26584842&postcount=1014
and this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1659308
The problem is, when I flash the S3 mod, I don't think I have the new S3 themes and live wallpapers; I don't understand whats going on. I know that the Dandelion live wallpaper comes with the S3 mod so why don't I have it?
The files I'm working with are KingDroid_ICS_NoteMania_Edition_v2.1 and KingDroid_S3_OPTIONAL_Mod_v2. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, 2.1 does not work with the s3 mod, only 2.0 is compatible.

Thank you so much for your quick reply.
So I installed v2.0 and then S3 mod right on top. There are a few apps that were not in v2.1 such as Flipbook and My Story. However, the Dandelion S3 Wallpaper is missing. And because thats missing, I think I installed something improperly... What gives?
Also, just want to point out, I also did all the 3 wipes so I'm assuming that I should be on a clean slate?

Just to confirm, you flashed v2, AND IN THE SAME FLASH, you then flashed s3 mod? And used abyss 4.2 redpill?

Yes that is correct.
I first flashed Abyss > Reboot Recovery > 3 Wipes > Flashed 2.0 > Flashed S3 Mod WITHOUT booting up first

criskelo ics rom for N7000 upgrade

hi there guys,
currently running Criskelo ICS v4 on my N7000 and saw that there is a V5 and an update. I just got V4 running last week and is there a upgrade install to V5 without wipe procedure? I got all the apps and setting all set up don;t want to do it all over again. your help will be much appreciated

will this affect the installed apps at all or will they be retained?

Got it running awesome but google search doesnt work did inarall v5 and then update to v5.1 still google search is no go..any fix?

c-rom v9 and side keyboard

hi i had the previous c-rom installed on my galaxy s now i upgraded with the lastest but slide android keyboard is gone away! how can insert it again on my system? ty in advance

Try Swype Beta...only downside is that u have to register

Do you mean C-RoM Mix v9?
C-RoM Mix v9 uses the 4.1.2 android keyboard while the v8 uses the 4.2.
You have to flash the 4.2 all-in-one gapps included in C-RoM addons to have swipe capability.

[Q] Best Semaphore Settings for JB ROM

Hi,
I'm currently on Slim Bean v3.0 (4.1.2) and my Kernel version is 3.0.49-Semaphore_JB_2.5.0. I'm also using mnazim's Super Launcher MOD from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1844787)
I recently downloaded the Semaphore Manager app from the Play Store and I was wondering what would be the best settings for my Phone.
Any suggestions ?

Thank you for your reply, but when I tried the settings you suggested, I started experiencing random reboots So i went back to the default semaphore settings.

I would like to mount this fantastic rom galaxperia rom v3.0 I wanted to ask that kernel should I use? fits the cocore? thank you very much in advance ...

You can use CoCore kernel.

hi there i rooted and installed Galaxperia v2 custom rom developed by achyut as instructed from the following thread using cwm

the installation went fine and upon rebooting the phone i could only see the sony xperia logo followed by the xperia animation. i waited for nearly 1h and still there wasn't any change in the screen. PS i had cleared my cache and erased all the data prior to the installation. i tried repeating the same steps over and over for some 2-3 days and its still the same. getting stuck in the same screen. kindly help me out with this.
