This is a humble request aimed to The Whisp, since he is developing CM10 for SGM2.
Please add the 2 way call recording patch to CM10, so calls can be recorded via skvalex CallRecorder without problems.
As things are now, only available call recording option is through Standard Android API and "Microphone".
It records, but VERY quietly, and the sound is crap.

Is there are ROM that supports 2-way call recording for both incoming AND outgoing calls?
One that does so with proper implementation, without using the speakerphone.

Like others said, MIUI supports it.
My personal solution to this is to place the call I want to record with google voice and press 4 to start recording. After the call it shows up in your inbox.
I would like to enable the original call recording function on my LG 4X HD P880. I have read other threads here where things like "The LG is the only one that supposedly can do full 2-way call recording. At least the international version can." and so on are mentioned.
Does anyone know how to enable this function? Do I have to install another rom? I'm far from an expert or developer, so please go a bit easy when answering
NB! My experience with the call recording apps on play store is that they do not work as supposed/ promised. Therefore I want the "original" function enabled.

I use InCall Recorder from playstore (even there's a forum thread for InCall Recorder in xda).
This app run perfect for me.

So? What about SP kernel? Supports recording or not?
I have interesting experience with different apps. Sometimes my voice is OK and the other side is soooo quiet, sometimes my side is OK and the other voice is sooo distorted...
I test all apps for call recording in sp, and finally found best of them
Stock kernel basically don't allow two way call recording, but there is one add-on that make it possible
Just do this:
Download and install call recorder and find ALSA add-on for call recorder
Then choose ALSA as recording method(root required) and BINGO.....
record all call like a charm

if you were looking at the Ubimo rom for call recording it's an added feature not a native one in the firmware.
if you're prepared to root you could have call recording today!
