Hey everyone I realise from my earlier post that 2.2.2 hasn't been rooted yet so instead does anyone happen to have the virgin 2.2.2 to load on my phone. I'm currently running revolt but I want to make a custom from 2.2.2 ill use stock if I must though.
Thanks in advance for any guidence to locate it.
Ok, I'm not sure what you are wanting, but look at the link below for stock and rooted zv4, it is the original stock system.img for froyo 2.2.2. I have an update.zip that I made to update the system.img to zv6 but retain root that is also froyo 2.2.2. Either way you will still have to flash zv4 first. Just let me know if you want the update.zip.

FXZ to .902 using RSDLite, then take OTA to get back to .905.
What problems?
I haven't heard anything negative at all about the leaks before this.
Also needing to FXZ back to stock from ICS leak 2233
I also flashed to ICS from. 905. I love ICS and have had absolutely zero problems with the leak version but I need to go back to 905 via 902 to get ready for the OTA update. I have rsdlite but need a "working" link to the FXZ file for 902. I was observing a thread in the development section but that link went to fileserve with a message that it was pulled because of copyright violation. Hopefully I can find the right file and avoid bricking during my jump back to Ginger.

Sammobile shows this file as an OTA update for XXLRQ. But the problem is cannot flash it in any manner, PC Odin wont help and neither does advanced recovery.
Any idea guys?
are you on latest version prior to LRQ on DBT rom?
Usually updates are ota send by steps.
Also not sure but other preconditions could apply, like csc, all components same stock rom.
Just some thoughts, havent flashed an ota myself yet with mobile odin, you can also check mobile odin thread for how tos

If anyone wants to try (im damn lazy )
I suggest you use same method as ics someone can do the yaffs crap then inject stock jb with su files then zip and make into custom rom
YOu have to do the 303 root thing then flash this rom through cwm flash jb kernel and your done
Its jsut my though anybody have opinions?
Yes, it is always working with cwm rom updates, I already cooked a rom from JB ftf with root, but I'm still waiting for my provider's JB update, to have the proper baseband/kernel.

want to send that rom over here?
Maybe later. I just tried it in the kitchen and deleted it, because I don't want to test it on my phone's kernel/baseband (T-mobile HU).
But I think someone will do a stock generic rooted rom soon
While running the RSD lite process it stops at 6/22 does anyone know why this would happen?
you are trying to go back to .905...from what?
If you're on ICS or jb you can't go back to 905. If you're on ICS, flash the ICS fxz. If you want jb, flash the jb fxz. Rooting jb is more involved if you're not into Linux, but if you had updated to jb you can't go back to ICS.

This is really a thread? I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but this isn't exactly a secret that you can't do it. You may want to read through the other posts before trying to do anything else.

There's no point in OTA updating when the FXZ files for ICS and JB are out, and you already have RSDLite. Also root methods are available for all OTA's. Just FXZ yourself to the place you need to be.
