[Question] Auto Hide the Nav Bar - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a mod to where you can hide the default Nav Bar on the KF HD 7"? It is totally annoying and I can not seem to get it to even autohide with any of the launchers I have tried.

It can be done w adw ex launcher. Not sure about adw free but you could check

Use this tutorial - VERY easy to do - I used root explorer, did it right on the kindle took all of 2 minutes(rebooting being the longest part of it). Just make sure you have the button replacement app installed first.

Launcher with four dock icons?

So I have been looking for a launcher that I can have 4 dock icons, something similar to miui or the galaxy s. I have tried the adw miui hack and twlauncher port but both don't offer very much customization. And I don't think the adw miui hack has been updated for a while.
If any one can help me find something, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can use ADW without the dock (choose the no dock/extend homescreen option) and photoshop on the dock/icons. Then use transparent icons with desktop visualizer or through normal adw shortcuts, just be sure to remove the text.
You can still use the hidden dock - just make a shortcut or swipe gesture to reveal it.
If you don't have Photoshop, you can always use GIMP. It's a free alternative with many similar tools and options.
I'm not really sure of another way. I know that this is possible with ADW EX, but I'm not sure if you can only use the hidden dock with the free version.

That's a good idea. It's a shame that Launcher Pro doesn't allow 4 icons like the OP (and i), would like. Maybe one day...
Hell I wish I knew how to make a launcher lol.
You can also try vLauncher. It works a lot like the MIUI launcher.
you can try this, it is a paid app but i've been using it and it works pretty good, just like adw with 4 dock icons
adw.miui.launcher
Have you tried zeam?

Launcher that allows Portrait hub layout without screen transitions

I'm looking for a portrait "hub" layout of sorts for my nexus 7.
I've been reading through XDA and other forums for the past few days checking out the different tablets and homescreens.
I have found some fantastic ideas from others, but they all use either ADW EX Launcher or Launcher Pro Plus.
Launcher Pro Plus doesn't play very nicely with Jelly Bean.
ADW EX works decently, but I cannot get the show/hide status bar to remove the top bar on ADW unless I take my DPI back to 160dpi to kick my notifications bar to the bottom of the screen.
I don't like the tablet UI b/c I use my device 99% of the time in portrait mode.
Unfortunately this makes neither LPP or ADWEX viable options for me.
Is there a launcher that allows to 100% disable transitions and you can jump to page 'X' without seeing any of the other screens, the same ADW and LPP do?
Thank you in advance! Any and ALL help is GREATLY appreciated.
I read that twice and I still have no clue what you are talking about. Maybe you can post a video.

Could you please guide me to where I might find those settings?

I guess I am aware I can Set the screen transition to none, but that still shows the screen as I move from one screen to another. I am hoping I can click directly on a shortcut that will take me to the desired screen (jump to screen x) without any other transition showing. Instead I see the other screens pass by even when clicking on jump to screen.
Does that make sense?

[Q] removing the google search bar from launcher

How to remove the google search bar from launcher ?
You can't from the stock one. Maybe try using a different launcher.

Apex Launcher and Nova launcher are both great replacements that allow you to remove it. remember that you can't use the quick view and circles widgets when using a non-stock launcher though

I was able to get rid of it. But you cannot use that space although it's removed.

go into your apps. settings then apps then click on all, click on google search and then click disable. It will remove the bar from the stock launcher, and the reason why you cant use that space if you drag and drop a icon to your homescreen youll see the outline of your homescreen the amount of space they give you to use and your unable to use that space with search bar gone. thats the reason i use apex launcher.

[Q] Any way to auto hide options bar?

I've noticed that the options bar at the bottom of my Kindle Fire HD takes up quite a bit of space. Is there any way to set it so it automatically hides, like it does with certain applications?
I've done a few searches and can't find anything on the issue.

Google search bar

Is there any way to remove the Google search bar from every screen?
Install another Launcher like Nova Launcher.
If you are rooted you can use an xposed module
