Hi there,
as a scholar I use many academic databases (journals, books) for my studies. The best thing I recently discovered is, some of them nicely work with our beloved NSTR!
The first one is JSTOR: http://www.jstor.org/
It has no dedicated app, but their website nicely supports mobile view:

Very good Android app has ebrary: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ebrary
Works very well with the Nook! It has its own reader built in. You have to read online or have an account at Adobe Digital Editions to download the ebook.
EBSCOhost APP works also: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ebsco.ehost
PDF articles (download failed, but you can send them to you via email) and full text articles (very nice, scrolling is working):
Do you have some experience with simmilar Academic databases? Tell us!

if your not sure what this is, its a reader that reads barcodes such as my avatar.
these barcodes are beginning to become more and more powerful.
Opening links, generating sms, downloading messages.
anyhow.
more about it here

Been some time since I've seen this program. There are more QR-Code and Data Matrix readers out there. The website Mobile-Barcodes.com has a catalog of readers for Windows Mobile along with other platforms. The catalog is located here: http://www.mobile-barcodes.com/qr-code-software/.
Hope this helps.
Nice, I've never seen this one before Good job Voltage!! Skinzone Rules!!

I created Beat Drop a month ago and was made to fill the void of not having hypem for the phone.
Beat Drop is a music blog aggregator that allows you to follow popular music blogs and stream their music straight from your phone.
It's free 99 so download it and let me know what you think!

and yes, I would love to add the functionality to have users add blogs. But with blogs not having a standard way of hosting music, I've opted for somewhat of the Hypem approach of having set blogs that are validated/tested to work w/ my app.
Nice, I love Hypem!
Hey everyone,
I'm a new developer on Windows Phone and my first app, myScoreboard, is now live on the marketplace. It is a free scorekeeping app for baseball games. Basically I was tired of going to local games and the scoreboard not working, so I made this app.
I am also developing another app for pace of play for a round of golf. I expect to be done with that one in the middle to end of this month.
Here is my blog (and download link):
mjhannaf.wordpress.com/2012/01/01/myscoreboard-is-available/
I'm mostly looking for feedback, ideas, and exposure as I start the journey of developing for WP.

I am currently studying a development course at university and currently we are learning how to use AppInventor 2.
We have a 4 Week Challenge where we need to make a quiz app and a marketing scheme.
For this we are working in a team, my team is called "Now or Never".
I need your help. Using Google Analytics we are recording views on our website and downloads on our app.
Our app IS on the Play Store.
Would you be able to check out our simple website, navigate around also download our app and maybe even like our facebook page? Follow us on twitter? Anything to help.
We really do apprieciate it and it really does help us with our university work.
Feedback would also be great. Thank you
