[rom] miui 1.11.4

This is my first dev work in porting moto triumph miui 1.11.4 to our device, & i've succeed...
Here is the download link:

Differences between this & tj style miui 1.11.11 are:
1. No more in call volume issue
2. LED light for notification blinking (pls set to default green, otherwise it blinking red)
3. No more screen blinking during call (proximity problem fixed)
For other features, pls google miui 1.11.4 changelog.
My advise, after flashing pls ask yr friend to call u, then check yr in call volume level by pressing volume up button (bcoz in the process of booting & rebooting u press the volume level hardly), now make it maximum. I dont hv any in call volume issue until now....

Thanks, i am asking something else, nevermind now,
very slow download possible to upload to some faster site (megaupload etc.)

I think a way of porting done by cowsgo was tru cross-checking with tj style 1.11.11, so a lot of changes hv been done, for me i dont want to lose a sense of new rom, so i minimize the changes, just necessary things to make it work with our devise. To check back what changes hv been done by cowsgo to 1.11.25, its a lot of work & effort

is 1.11.4 newer than 1.11.11 ?

1.11.11 by tj style, this 1.11.4 is frm isaac, there is no v1.11.11 frm isaac (moto triumph)

incoming call volume seems to be ok.. but wifi gets disconnected often and carrier's name comes as 'unknown'... anyway thanks

Screen Blinking during calls still continues, Notification lights is good and so also Call Volume. Can see carrier name inside setting menu however Network search is still throwing up UNKNOWN.
Have you tried SD kernel with this ROM ?

Network stuff? yes i know, but i think i know the reason y its not appeared, actually it just read sim operator name, not network operator name, a few command line need to be included related to TelephonyManager to read the network operator name & phone number. Now i can see my phone number bcoz i added it manually during my CM7 era

I got the way which is through CMW recovery , want to update some experience with 1.11.4
Carrier Name is there (previously also don't have problem with it)
Incoming call problem is still there (need to toggle like what what I used to previously)
Flashing during call problem still continues like what is there in previous ROM.
Only difference I found is free RAM .... but not up to mark.... Although great work friend ....

I've flashed this rom a few times, just to trace any inconsistencies, if exist, with @ without wiping, but i never face any in call volume issue with this version

Call Volume problem is not that much serious, main issue is proximity sensor issue ..... do you have any solution for that..... do you use any third party application to overcome this issue ..... or planning to do so.....

I tried SDKernel, the performance and memory seems to have improved (btw where & how do I see free memory in MIUI ??? ON CM it was very simple)
The ROM is very stable, yet to see a FC (barring Torch, we can do away with this actually) or restart. Volume has been no issues at all. Noticed that WIFI tether is missing, installed external app from market but good to have in your next build.
I noticed that there is a delay in the start of ringtone during incoming call. Is it because of SetCPU since i have set it at 122 when screen off.

Dear Friend, even in MIUI it is very easy to check your free ROM, put your finger on home button, go to application manager, then go to running, you can check free ROM.
Also you can use this as task killer.
Although its very easy in CM7, CM has some of its own drawback over MIUI.
1. MUSIC
2. LAUNCHER
3. Bluetooth Filetransfer
these are very much better with Miui while CM7 is very average in these point, hence I prefer MIUI over CM7.
Maybe some one object me, but its my exp with CM7 and MIUI.

Thanks for this short cut. I have used CM7 and yes both have its +s and -s.
With SDKernel free memory is only 97Mb ???? Anybody with any better experience ? UC V5 was better....But I am getting amazing battery life on this !

I've successfully ported the latest miui 1.12.16 to our device after a few try. Not yet ready to share, need to check the performance first.

FAQ
1.some one ask for full language,here i want to say sorry,because we rewrite many system apps like Phone,Mms,Settings.you know we need to modify translation in different language res folder,but we have no people to do this,we just know about English.So we just support Chinese,Englist and Chinese Traditional.So we remove other language to avoid more app force close.So if we based cm9 or aokp,solve this is easily,but we changed too much.I think even I open full language,may cause many force close.
2.somebody feedback some bug or FC in this system.If you can use adb,please give me logcat.If not please tell me how you can appear detaily,then we can fix it next built.PM me or write on this tread both OK,i will carefully check all of relies on this thread.
3.when you choose language to English,please reboot one time and you will see notification bar change to English(This is a bug)
About Lockscreen Chinese.this is China special lunar calendar,can not change to English.

Just tried. Camera doesn't work in bright sunlight because all becomes white.
Most stable ics I have tried but it's not as smooth because all apps are on home screen. There is no app drawer.

not fully work with camera without kernel driver

so far basic camera function works well indoors, the panoramic mode abit wonky havent tried video recording as im trying to download gapps my work pc dosent seem to work well with goo.im site =/

Really Appreciated your efforts
Some initial observation for this Beautiful ROM
1. As stated blazing fast
2. 3 G works great
3. Don't have problems while using WiFi
4. Good GPS locking
5. NO ICV / OCV (mentioned although now days not usual one)
6 Not Observed SOD.
7. Played Temple RUN... seems ok (need to check more graphic heavy games games)
Didn't use Camera, WiFi Tather and BT... will update about them Later
Anyway need to mention something
Allow to reboot for 4 - 5 tiimes, I need to flash GAPPS, may be you also need, allow system to get stable.

Now I am on this ROM JO2 OS ( Joy and O2 OS with CM7 Performance) can I directly install this? after just doing wiping? or should I need to flash RC1 or RC2 or RC3 before

You can install directly, no need to flash rc1 and lab lab ... but I suggest to wait little more, I have some issues ...
Edit : every change in setting need reboot ... actually default ringtone was silent and I changed to another but sound was missing ...but after reboot it got changed ...

I have used the beats audio libraries not the audio manager.
The sound is clear and loud if you check it out on earphone.
Awesome beats is for ICS

Ics rom cm9.1.0 - rc1

Hi everyone
I have ported a new rom cm9.1 from nexus 4g which as a feedback was very stable for their device.
This rom is working fine for me and I have added bravia engine, awesome beats and many tweaks.
mmpblueice theme is added to give it anew look.
Gaming is good
excellent battery
Higher free ram
cm9 stable libs from MT libs
Please note
1.Wipe data and dalvik cache
2. In advanced option
1. Background process should be zero( need to set after every reboot)
2.kill every process as you leave it should be checked.
3.Reboot after first boot.
There are all the patches are available in this forum. please search before asking for the same.

CM9 RC2 and many ROMs bro. Maybe you haven't tried but it works. (But it's inverted)

The USB tethering and wifi still not working any solution.

perform all above steps and include format of system,data,and preload

no theme in tell omnirom adds function

FEEDBACK:
Downloaded and Installed step by step as per OP...ROM is smooth and stable since 2 hrs now...average 10.2 battery drain which is understood....bit laggy initially but I guess it will be smooth when ROM completely settles down in sometime
ISSUES:
Visualizer in Walkman crashes everytime it is selected
DSP crashes everytime Clear Audio is toggled(did not enable it or change anything in it, instead opted for Clear Audio+ which is much better)

- not sure if this is an issue, in app drawer when i press back, it won't work, is this normal?
- messaging, dark theme is unchecked, but in the messaging thread, it's already black, the problem with black you can't see the senders name, and the message preview below it's a bit dark like almost can't read it in a distance. Is there any way to change this to white background instead of totally black?

Nice work buddy. Have installed this rom for good 7 to 8 hrs now n its been settling in well.. Just that I cant seem to play videos or movies properly the voice comes up properly however the video gets stuck up while playing anything that I cud do to fix this. Please help

No clue did you use the xperia player or the stock player I have used both and not had a issue

- messaging, dark theme is unchecked, but in the messaging thread, it's already black, the problem with black you can't see the senders name, and the message preview below it's a bit dark like almost can't read it in a distance. Is there any way to change this to white background instead of totally black?

I have noticed the back button in the app drawer don't know what that's about but it don't do it all the time. The black in the messaging app is due to the base ROM I use which is my cm10.2 darkness ROM the next up date for this ROM will be made from a freash build with no mods to theme other the xperia stuff so that will be fixed. And yea it does take a little bit to settle down before it is really smooth. No eta on update, busy busy

I used Xperia/Stock/MX/ES media Players... All the players are having the same issue... Dunno wats the issue here...

Nope... I was earlier on many TW based ROMS but never faced an issue... This is my 1st CM 10 ROM and i dunno whats going wrong here..
I was on WARZONE 4.0, Xperia-Z-ized NOTE v1.0 and there was no issue while playing any kind of video.
Can u help me as to why this is happening..

i would say try another cm10.2 rom see if same problem and is this a recorded video by phone downloaded movie or netflix

I'll be trying another one this coming weekend... Lets see how it goes... The videos are downloaded via Internet on my PC. These are mostly TV Shows and Movies which i watch while travelling.. But never had an issue with earlier roms as such...

when your talking about tw roms you are talking about roms that are built with proper sources for the phone cm based roms do not have proper sources for samsung devices because samsung will not release them. there for you will have stuff that does not work properly with cm but will with tw. i have watched a couple movies that i download to my phone and had no problem. let me know what you find with other roms. so i well no what to look at.

Sure Mate!! I had used TW for a long time and wanted to try a CM/AOKP/other ROM variants... This is my 1st time on such a ROM so i also cud not figure out why that was happening.. Any basic CM/AOKP ROMS u can suggest which i can download to try and then i can get back to you with my findings... :angel:

there are a few out there my other rom darkness
asylum a very good rom and one of the most known out there by @chasmodo
krueger rom by @bangsti
all very good roms i have used pick one and give it try or all of them
