[Q] Stuck at logo screen after Cyanogenmod 7 installed

Hi, so after I installed Cyanogenmod 7, my Galaxy Ace S5830M never gets past the "Samgsung GALAXY Ace GT-S5830M" logo screen. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it? Thanks.

The S5830M is a variant of the S5830i , so your phone now can only be restored through an ODIN flash

Which version of Odin do I use? v4.38 or v1.8? I been using the v4.38, finally got my phone to enter download mode, but when connected via usb, odin doesn't seem to detect it.

You need to use Odin3

Thanks, I flashed my phone back to factory setting. My question is is there a compatible version of Cyanogenmod for S5830i or m series?

That's old version of Odin that does not support one file package

There it's an 1.85 and another of 3.xx that works

True' but it doesnt mean he cant use the version in the thread, it depends on wat firmware files he,s flashing.

It's like I am giving you a flashable zip and you are intended to extract and push the apk

I normaly download it from the same site i downloaded the rom cause depend on the versionof the c-rom u want to compile..... Sorry for my english.....

Hi,
use odin 1.85 if ur using multipackage firmware..
otherwise use 3.x.x .. :good:
note these steps
Turn off the PHONE, press and hold VOL-UP + VOL-DOWN + POWER
select download mode in screen and start ODIN inside ODIN select your files, PIT, BOOT, PHONE, PDA, CSC, the BOOT file not needed!
Only leave selected the checkbox, reboot and Factory reset... Done :laugh:

Install samsung USB drivers first.. Then try by putting ur phn in download mode

My S5570 in download-mode was not recognised under a W8.1 pro 64 bit asus laptop . Luckely I had W7 64 bit home desktop which recognised my S5570.

this is not working
having latest Kies and all Samsung Usb Drivers Still Odin doenst finds my phone

For letting odin recognize first u need to have driver installed otherwise it won't be displayed. Don't do anything unless it is detected by ur laptop

[Q] [Question] How to Flash Stock ROM without ODIN

Hi,
I have the following problem:
I have a S5830L which I've downloaded the Samsung Unbranded Stock ROM GB 2.3.6 for this phone.
The problem is that when I put it on Download mode ODIN detects it BUT when I click on start it stops on "SetupConnection" and after 10 min it shows fail.
The phone is running fine, but It has the carriers ROM and with version 2.3.4, with CWM
How can I flash it via ODIN or another method?
I cannot figure out...

There's a thing called mobile Odin. Not sure if it works for your device but you can use the search option here to find out more...

you say it already has CWM, just use CWM to flash StockLite ROM almost similar with STOCK ROM

[Q] USB Mounting over MTP after installing Cyanogen 10.1 on Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini

hello there,
i have some trouble here after instaling cyanogen mod 10.1 on my samsung galaxy S3 mini GT-I8910, my device can't be recognized by my PC.
im already tried to download KIES, and USB driver from Samsung official site.
and already check the USB debugging mode, tried once without USB debugging mode and it is still the same.
anyone can help me?

hi guys, now my driver problem is already fixed, i already unroot my samsung galaxy s3 mini. but here comes a new problem, and it is RIL Problem. anyone can help me ? please just using samsung galaxy s3 mini for 1 day.

Far as i know we don't have a CM10.1 yet ( cyanogenmod based on 4.2 ) so i think you flashed a CM from a other device ... and i'm not sure but i've read somewhere some cm's use different partitions and thats why some phones get bootloops when going back to stock rom but the ril i think is rom releated ... i would try to find a pit file (goldenxx pit file ) and a odin flashable rom and flash it true odin using pit file and re-par. ON

ok thanks for answering, the fact is i did format modem directory from CWM on my SGS3M, any resolve?
can you teach me how to use pit file? im still new to things like this, hope you can help me

how to flash it with odin sir? the file type is 7z and when i extract it , it is a .pit file. the requirement for flashing with Odin in PDA the file type should be tar, md5 and so on.. can you help me?
